The National Eagle Repository is operated and managed under the Office of Law Enforcement of the United States Fish and Wildlife Service located at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge outside of Denver, Colorado. It serves as a central location for the receipt, storage, and distribution of bald and golden eagles that have been found dead. Eagles and eagle parts are available only to Native Americans enrolled in federally recognized tribes for use in religious and cultural ceremonies.

The Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge is a 15,988-acre (24.981 sq mi) National Wildlife Refuge located adjacent to Denver and Commerce City, Colorado, in the United States. It is approximately 8 miles (13 km) northeast of downtown Denver. The refuge is on the grounds of the former Rocky Mountain Arsenal, a United States Army chemical weapons manufacturing facility. The site was designated a national wildlife refuge in 1992 by the United States Congress, and underwent a costly environmental cleanup in order to remove pollutants. The refuge is managed by the United States Fish and Wildlife Service. More than 330 species of wildlife inhabit the refuge, including raptors, deer, raccoons, coyotes, white pelicans, black-footed ferrets, black-tailed prairie dogs, and bison.

88 Drive-In (formerly East 88th Avenue Drive-In) is a drive-in theater in the Irondale neighborhood of Commerce City, a suburb of Denver.

The Mile High Music Festival was an annual two-day concert that took place for three years. It was held in Commerce City, Colorado at Dick's Sporting Goods Park, first done on July 19 and 20, 2008. The concert was originally scheduled to be held at City Park in Denver (near the Denver Zoo), but changed because of opposition from zoo officials. 2010 was the last year and promoter AEG announced that the festival would be cancelled for 2011 "due to the economy"

Dick's Sporting Goods Park, also known as DSG Park, is a soccer-specific stadium located in Commerce City, Colorado, that is home to the Colorado Rapids men's professional soccer team. The stadium seats up to 18,061 people for soccer matches, but can accommodate up to 19,734 for special soccer events and 27,000 for concerts. It became the third home venue for the Rapids upon its opening in 2007. Sitting at just over 5,200 feet (1,600 m) above sea level, the stadium has the highest elevation of any stadium regularly used by MLS teams.

Montbello is a neighborhood of Denver, Colorado, located in the far northeast of the city. It is bounded on its north side by E 56th Avenue and the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge, on its south side by the I-70/I-225 junction, by Peoria Street on its western confine and Chambers Road on its east. Derby is an unincorporated community and a census-designated place (CDP) located in and governed by Adams County, Colorado, United States. The CDP is a part of the Denver–Aurora–Lakewood, CO Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population of the Derby CDP was 8,407 at the United States Census 2020. The Commerce City post office (Zip code 80022) serves the area.

Montbello High School was a high school located in Denver, Colorado, United States in the Denver Public Schools system. It was located in the Montbello neighborhood on the northeast side of Denver. The school opened in fall 1980, the first graduating class being the class of 1981. The school's final class graduated in 2014. In 2020 the Denver Public Schools Board of Education committed to re-opening Montbello High School at its current campus, as well as creating a new feeder middle school. Both schools will open in the 2022–2023 school year. The Board formalized the next steps for unifying the existing school communities to reimagine them as a large comprehensive Montbello High School.

The City of Commerce City is a home rule municipality located in Adams County, Colorado, United States. The city population was 62,418 at the 2020 United States Census, a 35.95% increase since the 2010 United States Census. Commerce City is the 18th most populous municipality in Colorado. Commerce City is located north of Denver and is a part of the Denver–Aurora–Lakewood, CO Metropolitan Statistical Area and the Front Range Urban Corridor. Commerce City is a mixed residential and industrial community that is known for an oil refinery with a capacity of 90,000 barrels per day (14,000 m3/d), operated by Suncor. Dick's Sporting Goods Park, a soccer stadium in Commerce City, hosts the Colorado Rapids of Major League Soccer.

The Shops at Northfield, formerly Northfield Stapleton, is an open-air, 1,200,000-square-foot (110,000 m2) retail town center located at the Stapleton International Airport redevelopment in Denver, Colorado, United States. It is owned and operated by QIC. Northfield Stapleton is anchored by Macy's, Super Target, JCPenney, Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World, and an 18-screen Harkins Theaters. Northfield also includes approximately 50 specialty shops, restaurants and retailers.

KPLS (1510 AM, "Positive Lifestyle Radio") is an AM radio station licensed to Littleton, Colorado, and serving the Denver metropolitan area. KPLS is owned by Radio 74 Internationale. In May 2020, the station transitioned to airing a Christian format following a transfer of ownership. KPLS has studios and offices on South Union Boulevard in Lakewood and its transmitter is off Riverdale Road in Thornton, Colorado. KPLS is unusual in that its AM transmitter increases power at night, going from 10,000 watts to 25,000 watts. Both the day and night signals are quite directional, in a north-south pattern.
