Howard High School of Technology is a vocational-technical high school in Wilmington, Delaware and is the oldest of four high schools within the New Castle County Vocational-Technical School District, which includes Delcastle Technical High School in Newport, Hodgson Vo-Tech High School in Glasgow, and St. Georges Technical High School in St. Georges.In 2022 it was designated an affiliated area of Brown v. Board of Education National Historical Park.

It was built in 1917, and is a three-story, rectangular steel, concrete, and brick building measuring 100 feet by 200 feet and featuring a projecting roof cornice, flat roof, and large window areas. It is characterized as a fireproof industrial building in the commercial style of the early 1900s. It was originally built as a warehouse to store goatskins for a Wilmington kid leather manufacturer and later housed the plant and offices of a specialty printing firm.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. It is located in the East Brandywine Historic District.

It encompasses 189 contributing buildings located east of the central business district of Wilmington dating from the late-18th to the early-20th century. The buildings reflect a mix of architectural types and styles include industrial buildings, churches, schools, semi-detached houses, rowhouses, apartment houses, restaurants, and stores. Notable non-residential buildings include St. Patrick's Church, Diamond Match Company complex, Security Storage Warehouse, Francis Apartments, Winkler's Restaurant, Delaware Hosiery Manufacturing Company building, F.F. Slocomb Company building. The Howard High School, Kaumagraph Building, and Starr House are located in the district and separately listed.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Main Office of the New Castle Leather Company, also known as The Main Office of the Allied Kid Company from 1933 to 1977, is a historic office building located at Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware. It was built in 1917, and is a three-story, steel frame stuccoed brick building in the Mission Revival Style. The building measures 68 feet wide and 30 feet deep. It features a revolving door and curved granite steps at the main entrance, red Mission style tiles on the mansard, and large decorative iron bars and grill work on the first floor windows.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Starr House, also known as the Michael VanKirk House, is a historic home located at Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware. It was built between 1801 and 1806, and is 2+1⁄2-story, brick dwelling with a gable roof. The house was restored in 1946 and considered the last example of colonial architecture in the city of Wilmington. Adjacent to the house is a mid-19th century frame summer kitchen, which contains a beehive oven, has been encased in brick.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1970. It is located in the East Brandywine Historic District. Situated on a two-block section of King Street known historically as Wilmington's "Lawyers Row," Starr House is one of a complex of six buildings that serve as the offices of Prickett, Jones & Elliott, P.A., one of Delaware's oldest law firms.

Brandywine Village Historic District is a national historic district located along Brandywine Creek at Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware. It encompasses 12 contributing buildings, 7 contributing sites, and 2 contributing structures. Brandywine Village developed in the late-18th century as a group of flour mills, the homes of prosperous millers, mill workers, shop keepers and artisans. Located in the district are a set of mill owner built homes of granite. Notable buildings include the Gothic Revival style St. John's Episcopal Church (1857-1858) designed by noted Philadelphia architect John Notman, Brandywine Methodist Episcopal Church (1857), and Brandywine Academy (1798). In 1788, Brandywine Village was the site of the first mechanized mill designed by Oliver Evans.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1971 and expanded in 1976.

The Daniel L. Herrmann Courthouse is a building in downtown Wilmington, Delaware. Built in 1916, the former courthouse is currently occupied by Young Conaway Stargatt & Taylor, a Wilmington-based law firm.

The U.S. Post Office, Courthouse, and Customhouse, also known as Main Post Office, is a historic post office, courthouse, and custom house, located on Rodney Square in Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware. It was designed by Irwin & Leighton in 1933–1935, and building was completed in 1937. It is in the Classical Revival. It is a three-story, cut stone structure with six large stone pillars across the main entrance. the gross building area is 104,669 sq. ft. It now serves as Wilmington Trust headquarters. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Rodney Square is the public square and historic district in downtown Wilmington, Delaware, United States, named after American Revolutionary leader Caesar Rodney. A large equestrian statue of Rodney by James E. Kelly formerly stood in the front of the square until it was removed in 2020. The square was created in the early 20th century by John Jacob Raskob, who worked for Pierre S. du Pont. The City Beautiful movement served as the inspiration for the effort.In 1917, to make room for the Wilmington Public Library in the square, the 18th-century First Presbyterian Church was moved to Park Drive and the remains in the cemetery were reinterred in Wilmington and Brandywine Cemetery.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2011, as the Rodney Square Historic District.
