Eau Gallie River is a 3.9-mile-long (6.3 km) river in Eau Gallie, Florida, United States. It is a tributary of the Indian River, with its mouth near Hawthorne Point.

WCIF (106.3 MHz) is a non-commercial FM radio station in Melbourne, Florida. It is owned by the First Baptist Church of Melbourne. WCIF's programming includes Christian music as well as Christian talk and teaching programs. The station began broadcasting January 1, 1980. National religious leaders heard on WCIF include Chuck Swindoll, Charles Stanley, John MacArthur, Jim Daly, Joni Eareckson Tada and David Jeremiah.

WAOA-FM (107.1 MHz) is a commercial radio station licensed to Melbourne and covering Florida's Space Coast. Owned by Cumulus Media, it broadcasts a Top 40 (CHR) radio format. It calls itself W A One A, named after Coastal Florida highway State Road A1A. The radio studios and offices are on West Hibiscus Boulevard in Melbourne. WAOA-FM has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 100,000 watts, the maximum power for non-grandfathered FM stations. It can be heard as far north as Daytona Beach, as far west as Winter Haven and far south as Port St. Lucie. Its transmitter is in Melbourne, on Harlock Road, visible from Interstate 95. As of October 2007, the station was streamed online via iHeart Radio.

WFKS (95.1 FM) is a Top 40 (CHR) station serving Florida's Space Coast area. The iHeartMedia outlet broadcasts with an ERP of 4.3 kW and is licensed to Melbourne, Florida.

WSBH (98.5 MHz) is a commercial FM radio station licensed to Satellite Beach, Florida and serving the Space Coast including Melbourne and Brevard County. The station is owned by Roger Holler, III, through licensee MARC Radio Orlando, LLC. It broadcasts a classic hits radio format. WSBH has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 6,000 watts. It has a construction permit from the Federal Communications Commission to increase its power to 25,000 watts.

Eastern Florida State College, formerly Brevard Community College, is a public college in Brevard County, Florida. It is a member of the Florida College System and has campuses in Cocoa, Melbourne, Palm Bay, and Titusville, as well as a Virtual Campus. Since its inception, the college has served more than a half-million students. About 35,000 students take courses annually on the Titusville, Cocoa, Melbourne and Palm Bay campuses, and online. According to state Florida College System statistics, the college has among the top graduation rates in the 28-member Florida College System, and the highest graduation rate among state and community colleges in Central Florida.In 2010, the college reported 25,000 students enrolled for courses. There were 1,200 employees in 2011, including support personnel and faculty.

The King Center or the Maxwell C. King Center for the Performing Arts is a performing arts venue located at 3865 North Wickham Road, Melbourne, Florida. The main theater of the 126,000 square feet (11,700 m2) facility contains 2,016 seats. There is also a 250-seat venue named the Studio Theatre or the Black Box in the facility.

The Titan Soccer Complex is a 1,000-seat soccer-specific stadium on the campus of Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Florida. Built in 2013, it is currently home to the Eastern Florida Titans men's and women's soccer teams, as well as the host of the NJCAA Division I Women's Soccer National Championship from 2014 until 2016. In 2016, it was home to Orlando City B, Orlando City SC's affiliate in the United Soccer League. For OCB matches, the stadium's capacity was expanded to 3,500 seats.

Wickham Park is a public county park located at 2500 Parkway Drive, Melbourne, Florida. It contains diverse recreational facilities and amenities, including campgrounds, disc golf course, equestrian facilities, archery range, off-leash dog park, bicycle/jogging roadway, nature trails, exercise trails, ball fields, an event pavilion, picnic pavilions, playground, and swimming lakes. It has the Wickham Park Community Center at 2815 Leisure Way.

WLZR (1560 AM) is a commercial radio station, licensed to Melbourne, Florida, and serving the Melbourne-Titusville-Cocoa area of the Space Coast. It is owned by Cumulus Media and broadcasts a sports radio format. Most of the programming comes from the CBS Sports Radio Network. By day, WLZR is powered at 5,000 watts, non-directional. But because 1560 AM is a clear channel frequency reserved for WFME in New York City, WLZR is a daytimer. It must go off the air at sunset to avoid interference with older, higher power stations.

Lake Washington is the largest lake in Brevard County, Florida at 4,362 acres (17.65 km2). The lake may have been named for the U.S. Deputy Surveyor Colonel Henry Washington, after he surveyed the area in 1844.
