PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research is a teaching hospital and research institute located in Peelamedu, Coimbatore. It was established in 1985 as a part of PSG Group. It has NABH accreditation. PSG Hospitals, a 1400-bed, tertiary care hospital was recently awarded with JCI prime certification [1] and has become the first hospital in TamilNadu to receive the accreditation. The hospital is affiliated to the PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research and has been recognized as an institution that offers students with multiple facilities at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. PSG Institute of Paramedical Sciences and Nursing are associated with the institute.

Sri Krishna College of Engineering & Technology (SKCET) is an autonomous technical institution affiliated to Anna University based on Coimbatore. It is located in a twenty-acre campus at Sugunapuram along the Palakkad-Coimbatore Highway, near Kuniyamuthur, Coimbatore in Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The college was started in 1998 with 180 students and 18 staff and offered four courses in the Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.). Qualifications are conferred by Anna University. Loga Nayaga Shaniswara temple is located at Puliakulam, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The temple is located adjacent to Puliakulam Mariamman temple and the main deity is Shani. The idol of Shani is 7 feet (2.1 m) tall and is made of iron. A crow which is the mount of Shani, made also of iron stands in front of the main deity.

Sri Ashtamsa Varadha Anjaneyar Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Hanuman located in Peelamedu, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. The idol of the deity is made of Salagrama stone. In the temple, Goddess Lakshmi graces the devotees from the right palm of Hanuman who tail faces North, direction of Kubera, God of wealth. The main deity faces west, is seen posing Abhaya Mudra with his right hand and holding a mace with the other hand. During the Tamil New Year, an offering of 10,008 fruits is made to the deity. Raja Maruthi Alankaram, Vennai Alankaram and Vadamalai offerings are the regular Sevas here on Saturdays. In the Tamil month of Purattasi, Vadai Malai, Swaya Roopam, Chenduram, Swarnamayam and Muthangi Sevai are offered to God on Saturdays.Lord Hanuman, is decorated in different alankaram each day, which makes this temple very unusual. So don't be surprised to see Lord Hanuman gracing you in his various alankaram during your routine visit.
