DeSoto High School (Texas)

DeSoto High School Freshman Campus is a public school in DeSoto, Texas, United States. It is part of the DeSoto Independent School District. Located at 620 South Westmoreland Road, the school serves the district's ninth graders. The Freshman Campus opened in 1997 to alleviate overcrowding at the high school. Although the campuses are connected to each other and share a common library, they are commonly treated as separate schools within the district. The district, and therefore the school, most of DeSoto, the Dallas County portionsof Glenn Heights, and a portion of Ovilla in Dallas County, as well as a small portion of Cedar Hill.

Glenn Heights Park & Ride is a small bus-only station located west of I-35E in Glenn Heights, Texas (USA) and is under ownership of Dallas Area Rapid Transit. It is the southernmost transit center in the DART system. Unlike many Transit Centers, Glenn Heights Park & Ride does not have a heating/cooling facility nor does it have a station attendant, however it does have four passenger shelters.

Trinity Christian School is a private Christian school founded in 1981. The campus is located at Trinity Church in Cedar Hill, Texas and is affiliated with Trinity Ministries. Trinity School educates students from pre-school and K5 – 12th grade students, and is considered a College Preparatory School. Locally the school is referred to as Trinity Christian School-Cedar Hill (or TCS) to distinguish it from Trinity Christian-Addison.

DeSoto Heliport (FAA LID: 73T) is a city-owned public heliport in DeSoto, Dallas County, Texas, United States, located 3 nautical miles (5.6 km) north of the central business district. The heliport has no IATA or ICAO designation.The facility opened in August 2014 under joint ownership by the City of DeSoto, the Texas Department of Transportation, and the DeSoto Economic Development Corporation. It is operated by SKY Helicopters, which also operates the Garland/DFW Heloplex.

John Kincaide Stadium is a 15,000-seat multi-use stadium in Dallas, Texas owned and operated by the Dallas Independent School District. It opened in 2005. In 2023, a track at this stadium was renamed the Sha'Carri Richardson Track.Kincaide Stadium is part of the Jesse Owens Memorial Complex and is used for football, soccer, and athletics. It serves as home to Carter and Kimball High Schools.
