DeSoto High School Freshman Campus

DeSoto High School is a comprehensive public high school in DeSoto, Texas, United States. It is part of the DeSoto Independent School District and is classified as a 6A school by the UIL. In 2015, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency.The district, and therefore the school, serves most of DeSoto and the Dallas County portion of Glenn Heights, and a portion of Ovilla in Dallas County, as well as a small portion of Cedar Hill.

Glenn Heights Park & Ride is a small bus-only station located west of I-35E in Glenn Heights, Texas (USA) and is under ownership of Dallas Area Rapid Transit. It is the southernmost transit center in the DART system. Unlike many Transit Centers, Glenn Heights Park & Ride does not have a heating/cooling facility nor does it have a station attendant, however it does have four passenger shelters.

Ovilla Christian School (OCS) is a private Christian school located in Ovilla, Texas, a suburb of Dallas, Texas. Founded in 1990 with nine kindergarten students, OCS is a ministry of Ovilla Road Baptist Church (ORBC) and is co-located with the church on a 54-acre (220,000 m2) campus. The school is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and is a member of the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS). OCS participates in numerous extracurricular events, both athletic and academic, sponsored by ACSI and/or TAPPS. OCS states that it has a maximum capacity of 578 students, and currently averages around 365 students, in a full K4-12 program.

DeSoto Heliport (FAA LID: 73T) is a city-owned public heliport in DeSoto, Dallas County, Texas, United States, located 3 nautical miles (5.6 km) north of the central business district. The heliport has no IATA or ICAO designation.The facility opened in August 2014 under joint ownership by the City of DeSoto, the Texas Department of Transportation, and the DeSoto Economic Development Corporation. It is operated by SKY Helicopters, which also operates the Garland/DFW Heloplex.

John Kincaide Stadium is a 15,000-seat multi-use stadium in Dallas, Texas owned and operated by the Dallas Independent School District. It opened in 2005. In 2023, a track at this stadium was renamed the Sha'Carri Richardson Track.Kincaide Stadium is part of the Jesse Owens Memorial Complex and is used for football, soccer, and athletics. It serves as home to Carter and Kimball High Schools.
