Harvard Terrace is a historic neighborhood in Toledo, Ohio; it is "bordered by Amherst Drive (which abuts the Toledo Zoo), Broadway, Glendale Avenue, and the Anthony Wayne Trail. It includes 435 residences, many of them designed by architects and built in the early 1900s."While partnered with George E. Pomeroy of the George E Pomeroy Co., E. H. Close developed the Harvard Terrace Neighborhood of Toledo, Ohio; later, in 1909, Close founded the E. H. Close Realty Company and went on to develop many areas in and around Toledo, including Ottawa Hills. Harvard Terrace is doubly blest--nature did her best and man has done the rest. A historical review specialist for the Department of Neighborhoods conducted a survey of the neighborhood. He found that it was platted in 1902. One house was built in 1895; 100 houses were built by 1910; and most of the houses were built by 1925. There were seven architectural styles identified including Arts and Crafts, Bungalow, Prairie, and Colonial/ Georgian Revival.

The Toledo Zoo & Aquarium, located in Toledo, Ohio, is a member of the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA), and is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA), valid through September 2023. The Toledo Zoo & Aquarium houses over 10,000 individual animals that cover 720 species. With a large focus on conservation efforts, the Toledo Zoo & Aquarium currently participates in over 80 species survival programs. The Toledo Zoo & Aquarium has over 57,000 members and hosts over 1 million visitors a year.

E.L. Bowsher High School was constructed in the early 1960s at the intersection of Glanzman and Detroit in Toledo, Ohio. Its replacement (opened 2009) is at the corner of Arlington and Detroit, north of the original site. It is part of the Toledo Public Schools.

McAuley High School was an all-girls Catholic high school in Toledo, Ohio. It was named for Catherine McAuley, the founder of the Sisters of Mercy. It began classes in 1958 and was one of three all-girls Catholic high schools in the city, the other two being Notre Dame Academy and St. Ursula Academy. The McAuley Lions were members of the Toledo City League and joined c. 1976. Girls' sports competition between schools had begun in the early 1970s for Toledo high schools. Due to financial problems and low enrollment, McAuley closed its doors at the end of the 1987–88 school year. They intended to have 1,000 students annually, but had a peak of 551 during the 1969–70 school year. In 1988, Toledo Christian Schools bought and moved into the McAuley building, which has remained a Pre-K to 12th grade Christian faith-based school ever since.

Marengo is an extinct town in Lucas County, in the U.S. state of Ohio. It was located in Adams Township, which formerly lay to the west of Toledo and has since been incorporated within the city limits.

Rossford Public Library (RPL) is a library located in Rossford, Ohio. It is a member of Serving Every Ohioan Library Consortium and Oplin (Ohio Public Library Information Network). The library was established in 1936 and housed in a one-room store building. The freestanding library building was constructed in 1950 with funding donated on behalf of the Libbey Owens Ford Glass Company (now part of Pilkington Group). The library's collections include historical photos and documents related to the glass company's business activities in Rossford. In the mid 2000s the library underwent a major renovation and expansion.The Rossford Library contains a collection of 62,503 volumes, circulates 253,986 items per year, and serves a population of 13,894 residents.In 2005, Rossford Public Library patrons borrowed over 250,000 items, of which 110,000 came from the Children's Materials section. In that same year, patrons made over 69,000 visits to the library and asked over 14,000 questions of the reference librarians.

Rossford is a city in Wood County, Ohio, United States, located along the Maumee River in the Toledo metropolitan area. The population was 6,293 at the 2010 census. The town includes the intersection of Interstate 75 and the Ohio Turnpike. Rossford Public Library and WPAY serve the community. Rossford was founded as a company town by Edward Ford of the Libbey-Owens-Ford Glass Company. In 1898, Ford purchased 173 acres (0.70 km2) along the Maumee River to build the Edward Ford Plate Glass Company.As workers came to the factory, Ford named the resulting town "Rossford" by combining the last name of his second wife, Caroline Ross, with his. Shortly after the foundation of the plant, Ford built the Ford Club next to the plant, so workers could socialize. In 1998, Rossford's centennial, the town built a memorial next to the Ford Club in memory of the foundation of the town. The centennial was marked by a street fair, parade, concert, and several other accommodations. Edward Ford's father John Baptiste Ford earlier founded Ford City, Pennsylvania as a plate glass company town.

Rossford Public Schools is a school district in Northwest Ohio. The school district serves students who live in the communities of Rossford, Northwood, Perrysburg, Perrysburg Township, and Lake Township located in Wood County. The superintendent is Dan Creps.

Edward Drummond Libbey High School was a public high school building located on the south side of Toledo, Ohio which held classes from 1923 until 2010. It is part of Toledo Public Schools and contained the Smart Academy and Humanities Academy. Libbey was named after Edward Drummond Libbey, the founder of the Toledo Art Museum and Libbey Glass. Edwin Gee was the building's architect.The Libbey Cowboys were founding members of the Toledo City League from 1926 until the school closed. Their colors were royal blue and gold. The Cowboys were most famous for their boys basketball teams and had a strong basketball rivalry with Scott High School in Toledo. Prior to the Shoe Bowl championship for the City League football title, Libbey had an annual Thanksgiving Day football game with Woodward High School from 1923 to 1932, and with DeVilbiss High School from 1933 to 1963.

Rossford High School is a public high school in Rossford, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in the Rossford Exempted Village School District. The district mainly serves the city of Rossford and also includes parts of the city of Northwood, Perrysburg Township, and Lake Township within Wood County.

Scott Park Baseball Complex is a baseball venue in Toledo, Ohio. It is home to the Toledo Rockets baseball team of the NCAA Division I Mid-American Conference. The venue has a capacity of 1,000 spectators. It features stadium lighting, a locker room, dugouts, and a natural grass surface. Its dimensions are 330 feet in left field, 400 feet in center field, and 330 feet in right field.
