Henry Kendall High School is a co-educational comprehensive secondary day school, located in Gosford, in the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia.

The Mount Penang Juvenile Justice Centre is a heritage-listed former juvenile detention centre, now a parkland and redevelopment precinct known as Mount Penang Parklands. It is situated on the Pacific Highway at Somersby, Central Coast, New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by James Nangle and built from 1912 by the New South Wales Public Works Department. It was also known as The Farm Home for Boys, Girrakool and Kariong Juvenile Detention Centre. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 19 September 2003. Today, Mount Penang Parklands is a redevelopment precinct containing parks and gardens, a high school, an events park, commercial and office space and residential development.

Narara Valley High School (abbreviated as NVHS) is a government-funded co-educational comprehensive secondary day school, located in Narara, in the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. The school caters for approximately 800 students in 2020, from Year 7 to Year 12, of whom eight percent identified as Indigenous Australians and eleven percent were from a language background other than English. The school is operated by the NSW Department of Education; and the current principal is Mr. Andrew Skehan.

Point Frederick is a suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia on a peninsula protruding into Brisbane Water 2 kilometres (1 mi) south-southeast of Gosford's central business district. It is part of the Central Coast Council local government area.

Central Coast Stadium (known originally as Grahame Park), known commercially as Industree Group Stadium is a sports venue in Gosford, on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia. The stadium is home to the Central Coast Mariners association football club which competes in the A-League. The stadium also hosts rugby league and rugby union fixtures on an ad hoc basis as well as other major social events. The stadium was originally designed to be the home stadium for the North Sydney Bears rugby league football club. The stadium is rectangular and is unusual in that seating is located on only three sides of the ground. The southern end is open giving filtered views of Brisbane Water through a row of palm trees. With an all seater capacity of 20,059 it was as of 2012 the second smallest stadium in the A-League. It is within walking distance of the Gosford CBD and Gosford railway station. The Central Coast Leagues Club and League Club Field are adjacent to the stadium, across Dane Drive.

Gosford railway station is located on the Main Northern line in New South Wales, Australia. It serves the Central Coast city of Gosford, opening on 15 August 1887.Between January 1960 and April 1982, Gosford was the northern extremity of the electrified network. The station buildings were demolished and replaced by the current structure which opened on 10 September 1993.An extensive network of stabling sidings exist north and south of the station. A functioning water crane is located at the northern end of Platform 2 and is used occasionally by passing steam locomotives.

Marine Rescue Central Coast, a volunteer rescue unit and TS Hawkesbury, an Australian Navy Cadet unit, are located at the northern end of Goodaywang Reserve on the Brisbane Water foreshore. Point Clare Public School is located on Takari Avenue. Henry Kendall High School and Gosford High School (selective) are the nearest public secondary schools. St Philip's Christian College in Narara is the nearest private school, catering from Kindergarten to Year 10. Author Stephen Lacey grew up in Point Clare and it was the setting for his first two novels, The Tin Moon and Sandstone. Actor Don Hany also grew up in Point Clare. The population recorded at the 2016 Census was 3,731; a decrease from the 3,810 recorded in 2011.

Established on 22 February 2010 for students in Year 7 and Year 8 only, the school enrolled 540 students in 2018, from Year 7 to Year 12, of whom five percent identified as Indigenous Australians and ten percent were from a language background other than English. The school is operated by the NSW Department of Education; the principal is Anne Vine.
