The Neville Mansion is a historic house in the Olde Towne East neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio. Portions of the house may have been built in the early 19th century, though the majority was complete by the mid-1850s. It was built for M.L. Neville, who purchased the property in 1855. Two years later, it became the Ohio Asylum for the Education of Idiotic and Imbecile Youth (known today as the Columbus Developmental Center), which moved out to its current campus in 1868. The mansion then held the Hannah Neil Mission and Home of the Friendless for over a century, from 1868 to 1977. The mission served as an orphanage, homeless shelter, and school for various types of disadvantaged residents throughout its history. After Neil's organization moved out, the mansion was renovated for office use. In 1983, a marker was placed by the house detailing the Neil Mission's historical importance to the community. The building was deemed eligible for the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

Olde Towne East is a neighborhood located in the historical Near East Side of Columbus, Ohio and is one of Columbus' oldest neighborhoods. The area has over 1,000 homes, some as old as the 1830s, and more than 50 architectural styles as a result of its history. These homes were built by many of the famous individuals of Columbus including industrialists, lawyers, judges, teachers, architects, mayors, governors, and legislators, many of whom shaped the city.

The Kelton House Museum and Garden is a Greek Revival and Italianate mansion in the Discovery District of Downtown Columbus, Ohio. The museum was established by the Junior League of Columbus to promote an understanding of daily life, customs, and decorative arts in 19th-century Columbus and to educate visitors about the Underground Railroad.

Engine House No. 12 is a former fire station in the Olde Towne East neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio. Today it primarily houses Gemüt Biergarten, a German restaurant, brewery, and biergarten, with its second story used for offices. It is a contributing property to the Columbus Near East Side District, a national historic district established in 1978. The building was constructed in 1896 as a Columbus Fire Department station. It became vacant following several decades' use, and subsequently housed the city's Arts and Crafts Center, from 1952 to 1978. The building lay vacant or under renovation for years while several proposals were fielded for it. It finally reopened in 1988 as an event venue and concert space known as the Columbus Music Hall. The music hall operated until 2008, and the building underwent another period of vacancy until another renovation around 2017. Gemüt Biergarten opened in the engine house building in 2019.

The W. H. Jones Mansion was built in 1889 at 731 East Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio as the residence of dry goods store owner William H. Jones and his wife Josephine. The original cost to build it was $11,250. He lived there until 1923. Jones modelled the house after another mansion in Barnesville, Ohio. The Olde Towne East Neighborhood Association successfully prevented it from being demolished to make way for a Long John Silver's restaurant. The home is an example of Queen Anne style architecture, with a corner turret, third story ballroom and a carriage house in the rear. Its foundation is high ashlar stone, its roof is slate, and the main body of the building is made of red pressed brick.Since the Jones' occupancy, the building has also been home to a doctor's office as well as the Schorr-Ketner Furniture Company. The mansion was previously leased to community advocate Local Matters. The site is now home to the alternative school Columbus Learning Cooperative, a local alternative to traditional education. They serve students ages 10 to 18, providing resources for the self-directed education model.

The Central Assurance Company is a historic building in Columbus, Ohio. It was built in 1942 and listed as part of the E. Broad St. Multiple Resources Area on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. It is significant for its Art Deco architecture, one of few remaining commercial buildings in the style in Columbus.

The East Broad Street Commercial Building is a historic building in Columbus, Ohio. It was built in 1930 and listed as part of the E. Broad St. Multiple Resources Area on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. The building has served numerous businesses, including doctor's offices, insurance agencies, and a Kroger store (1930-1946). Chinese restaurants operated out of the building from 1930 to 1995: Golden Lotus from 1930 to 1950 and Jong Mea from 1950 to 1995.The East Broad Street Commercial Building exemplifies Jacobethan Revival structure. It is primarily constructed of brick on a concrete foundation. The gabled wood is made of slate.

The Garfield-Broad Apartments is a historic building in the Olde Towne East neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio. It was built in 1929 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.The three-story building was designed as a luxury apartment complex of 49 units, within easy commuting distance of Downtown Columbus. The building is significant as a remaining early 20th century apartment building on East Broad Street, and for its Jacobethan Revival architecture. It features decorative brickwork, stucco, and half-timbering, along with elaborate stone decorations.

The Joseph-Cherrington House is a historic house in Columbus, Ohio, United States. The house was built in 1863 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. The Joseph-Cherrington House was built at a time when East Broad Street was a tree-lined avenue featuring the most ornate houses in Columbus; the house reflects the character of the area at the time.The Joseph-Cherrington House was built in 1863, and is the second-oldest in the area of East Broad Street. The house is significant as the residence of the family of Wilden E. Joseph, part of the Patton Manufacturing Co. Subsequent residents included Harold Cherrington, from 1930 to 1964. Cherrington was a journalist and dramatic editor for the Columbus Dispatch.

The Carrie Lovejoy House is a historic house in Columbus, Ohio, United States. The house was built c. 1900 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. The Carrie Lovejoy House was built at a time when East Broad Street was a tree-lined avenue featuring the most ornate houses in Columbus; the house reflects the character of the area at the time.The house was built c. 1900 and designed with Colonial Revival influences. It was built for Carrie Lovejoy. Carrie and her husband Nathan had lived next-door, at 805 E. Broad, until his death in 1904. At this time, Carrie moved into the 807 address, living there until 1914. Austin McElroy subsequently lived there, until 1918, followed by F.W. Freeman.

The Snowden-Gray House is a historic house in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. The house contributes to the East Town Street Historic District, on the National Register of Historic Places and Columbus Register of Historic Properties. Built as a private home around 1852, the building later served several purposes, including as the governor's mansion for Ohio's governor during the American Civil War. From 1952 to 2018, it was the headquarters of the sorority Kappa Kappa Gamma. Beginning in 2018, a developer operated a rental and events space there for several years, until 2021.
