Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center (MSHMC) is a 619-bed non-profit, tertiary, research and academic medical center headquartered in Hershey, Pennsylvania and serving central Pennsylvania. It is Central Pennsylvania's only academic medical center. The hospital is owned by the Penn State Health System and is its largest hospital. MSHMC is affiliated with the Penn State University College of Medicine. The medical center is an American College of Surgeons-designated level I adult and pediatric trauma center and has a helipad to handle medevac patients. Attached to the medical center is the 122 bed Penn State Children's Hospital, which treats infants, children, adolescents, and young adults up to the age of 21.

The Penn State Cancer Institute is a cancer research center of the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center located in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The Institute provides clinical care, research, education, and community outreach services throughout central and eastern Pennsylvania. It serves approximately 3,000 inpatients and 22,500 outpatients annually.

Penn State Health Children's Hospital (PSCH) is a nationally ranked women's and pediatric acute care teaching hospital located in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The hospital has 134 pediatric beds. PSCH is affiliated with the Penn State College of Medicine and is located at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. The hospital provides comprehensive pediatric specialties and subspecialties to infants, children, teens, and young adults aged 0–21 throughout central Pennsylvania and surrounding regions. Penn State Health Children's Hospital also sometimes treats adults that require pediatric care. PSCH also maintains one of Pennsylvania's four Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Centers.Penn State Health Children's Hospital maintains the region's only Level IV (highest level), state-of-the-art neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and Level I (highest level) pediatric trauma center. It is staffed by 200 pediatric medical and surgical specialists.

The Hershey Lodge is a hotel and convention center located in Hershey, Pennsylvania. It has 665 guest rooms and 100,000 square feet of function space, divided between two ballrooms and several other large event spaces.The Lodge is a popular hotel among visitors of Hersheypark due to its shuttles to and from the park and Harrisburg International Airport, bundled admissions to local activities such as the Hershey Gardens, and its comparatively lower price point than the nearby Hotel Hershey.

The Hershey Center for Applied Research (HCAR) is a research park located in Hershey, Pennsylvania that offers life sciences and high technology companies at all phases of the business lifecycle state-of-the-art wet and dry lab facilities and office space, as well as access to capital, business support services, and shared amenities. The first building of the research park was completed April 27, 2007 and is 80,000 square feet (7,400 m2). The campus is master planned to include up to 12 similar buildings. The campus is located adjacent to the Penn State Milton S.Hershey Medical Center and College of Medicine, an academic medical institution that is undertaking approximately $100 million annually in research. In fact, although no formal relationship exists between HCAR and Penn State University, the Penn State College of Medicine’s Department of Pharmacology and the Penn State College of Medicine’s Technology Development Office are the anchor tenants of Building One. The research park is a project of Maryland-based real estate development firm, Wexford Science & Technology. Supporting organizations include the Harrisburg Regional Chamber and the Capital Regional Economic Development Corp., and the Life Sciences Greenhouse of Central Pennsylvania, an organization that was formed to provide start-up money and business support services to early-stage life sciences companies. The land on which HCAR is built is in the heart of the Harrisburg Market Keystone Innovation Zone and is owned by Hershey Trust Company as Trustee for the Milton Hershey School.

The Central Pennsylvania Music Hall of Fame is a nonprofit organization and museum in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania. Founded in 2019 by the musician Brandon Valentine, the organization recognizes the music history of Central Pennsylvania and honors musicians from the region. It also focuses on youth music education and presents the annual Central Pennsylvania Music Awards. The organization's multi-room museum opened in 2023, featuring plaques for all Hall of Fame inductees as well as autographed albums and guitars from Central Pennsylvania artists. The Central Pennsylvania Music Hall of Fame has inducted over 40 musicians and bands.

The Hershey Entertainment Complex is a multi acre facility in Derry Township, Pennsylvania. It houses Hersheypark, Hersheypark Stadium, Star Pavilion, Hersheypark Arena, Giant Center, and the former Parkview Golf Course. The owner of the complex and all of the facilities (excluding the Giant Center - see below) is the Hershey Entertainment and Resorts Company (HE&R), based at 300 Park Boulevard in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Giant Center is a 10,500-seat multi-purpose arena in Hershey, Pennsylvania, a census-designated place in the Harrisburg metropolitan area. It is home to the Hershey Bears ice hockey team, the longest-existing member of the American Hockey League since 1938. Giant Center replaced the Hersheypark Arena as the Bears' home venue in 2002. Giant Center is owned by the Derry Township Industrial and Commercial Development Authority, as much of the money for its construction was provided by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. It is operated by Hershey Entertainment and Resorts Company, with the naming rights owned by the Giant-Carlisle grocery store chain based in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Giant Center has 7,700 seats in the Lower Level and 2,800 seats in the Upper Level. The arena also has 688 Club Seats and 40 Luxury Suites. Wheelchair and companion seating is available on all levels.

Enoch Matlack House is a historic home located at Hummelstown, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1872, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, T-shaped brick building, with a two-story rear section. It has a cross-gable roof. On each side of the rear section are second story balconies. A porch is along the front and east facades.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
