Gran Passeig de Ronda (Catalan language official name; Spanish: Gran Paseo de Ronda) is one of the main thoroughfares in the city of Lleida (Catalonia, Spain). It stretches from Plaça d'Europa towards Avinguda de l'Alcalde Areny on the bank of the river Segre, by the Pont Nou. It's located in one of the areas built ex nihilo after the destruction of the Spanish Civil War. Demographically, it separates upscale quarters of the primarily middle class areas such as middle class areas from the working-class neighbourhoods of La Mariola and Instituts-Templers and Gardeny hill. In Gran Passeig de Ronda merge the Autopista AP-2, Autovía A-2 and the N-230 road.

Teatre Municipal de l'Escorxador (Catalan for Slaughterhouse Theatre) is a theatre on carrer de Lluís Companys, in the Templers-Instituts quarter of Lleida, Catalonia, Spain. It's remarkable for its striking modernista-art nouveau architecture, unusual for a former slaughterhouse, a work by the Tarragona-born architect Francesc de Paula Morera i Gatell, nowadays refurbished and complete with some 1990s additions. It was heavily damaged during the Spanish Civil War bombings. It has been in operation since 1998, and is owned by the Lleida city council. It has two stages: Sala 1, an Italian-style hall with 310 seats, and Sala 2, used for plays and performances of a more experimental sort. There's a third space located in the former convent of Saint Theresa. Next to it is the Cafè del Teatre.

Cafè del Teatre de l'Escorxador, or Cafè del Teatre for short, is a concert venue in Lleida (Catalonia, Spain) opened as an addition to the Teatre Municipal de l'Escorxador. Its address is Carrer de Roca Labrador 4 bis. Among its recurrent events are Cafècurt, monthly short-film screening sessions, some activities of the Lleida Latin-American Film Festival, jam sessions and other live shows, especially jazz-oriented music and rock.

Rambla d'Aragó (Catalan pronunciation: [ˈramblə ðəɾəˈɣo]) is an important thoroughfare in the Universitat district of Lleida, Catalonia, Spain. Originally a rambla with a pedestrianised area complete with a marketplace and a service of trams, it underwent several changes and is now a regular street crossed by cars. It originates at Plaça de Cervantes and ends in Avinguda Catalunya. It hosts the former Maternity home, now Lleida Public Library, the art-nouveau buildings Cases Balasch, the Lleida Bishopric Palace, the Museu de Lleida Diocesà i Comarcal, as well as the main University of Lleida campus, built in 19th-century neo-gothic style.

The Diocese of Lleida, known as the Diocese of Lerida in English, (Latin, Ilerdensis) is located in north-eastern Spain, in the province of Lleida, part of the autonomous community of Catalonia. The diocese forms part of the ecclesiastical province of Tarragona, and is thus suffragan to the Archdiocese of Tarragona.The diocese of Lleida was created in the 3rd century. After the Moorish conquest of Lleida in 716 the episcopal see was moved to Roda (until 1101) and then to Barbastro (1101–1149). The city of Lleida was conquered from the Moors by the Count Ramon Berenguer IV of Barcelona in 1149, and the see was again transferred to its original seat. The Bishop's Palace is located in Rambla d'Aragó. Lleida is one of the most populous cities in Catalonia, built on the right bank of the River Segre, about 100 miles from Barcelona. The town is oriental in appearance, and its streets are narrow and crooked. The population in 1900 was 23,683. The old Byzantine-Gothic Cathedral, of which the ruins are to be seen on the citadel, dates from 1203. During the Middle Ages the University of Lleida was famous; in 1717 it was suppressed, and united with Cervera. The current Bishop of Lleida is Salvador Giménez Valls.

The Public Library of Lleida (Catalan: Biblioteca Pública de Lleida), also formerly called Biblioteca Pública de la Maternitat, is a public library in the city of Lleida (Catalonia, Spain). Its legal owner is the Generalitat de Catalunya. The building was originally a 19th-century maternity house, that is, an orphanage located in the Rambla d'Aragó and has operated as the town's main library since 1998, when it was heavily reformed. It contains over 150,000 books and 9,760 printed documents from the 16th to the 19th century, 6 manuscripts and 25 incunables. The library's two cloysters are often used for artistic and cultural exhibitions, often related to local artists or focusing on social issues, including one in 1998 on its own past as an orphanage.

Camp d'Esports is a neighborhood in Lleida, Catalonia, Spain. As of 2009, it had 4,850 inhabitants. It is named after the Camp d'Esports football stadium located in the area and it is bordered (clockwise starting from the northeast) by the neighborhoods of Príncep de Viana-Clot, Xalets-Humbert Torres, Universitat, Joc de la Bola and Ciutat Jardí-Les Valls.

Camp d'Esports is a multi-use stadium in Lleida, Catalonia. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of Lleida Esportiu. The stadium holds 13,500 seats, and the dimensions for the football field are 102x68 meters. The architect responsible for the project was Adrian Florensa.The construction of the stadium begun in 1918 and finished in 1919. On January 1, 1919 the sports complex named "Camp d'Esports" was officially opened. It underwent extensive renovations in 1993 and 1994.

Unió Esportiva Lleida was a Spanish football team based in Lleida, in the autonomous community of Catalonia. It was founded as Lérida Balompié-AEM on 30 October 1939, and became Unión Deportiva Lérida in 1947, after a merger with CD Leridano. It held home matches at Camp d´Esports, with a 13,500-seat capacity. It was dissolved in 2011. The soul of the club was reformed as Lleida Esportiu. Lleida adopted the Catalan version of its name in 1978. The club spent most of its history in the lower divisions, but in the early 1950s and early 1990s, the club won promotion to La Liga. During the 1990s the club was managed by Mané, Juande Ramos and Víctor Muñoz, all of whom subsequently became successful managers with other clubs. From 1987 the club organised its own summer trophy, the Ciutat de Lleida Trophy.

Sant Llorenç (Saint Lawrence) is a Romanesque church in Lleida (Catalonia, Spain) dating from the late 12th century, with Gothic additions from the 15th century. The initial architects of the church were Pere de Coma, the master of works who in charge of La Seu Vella, the old cathedral of Lleida. It has a nave and two aisles, built with the same height, and three apses; the nave is in the Romanesque style, whereas the aisles are Gothic, as is the octagonal bell tower. In 2002 part of the church was refurbished.

Lleida Museum, officially the Diocesan and Comarcal Lleida Museum (Catalan: Museu de Lleida, Museu Diocesà i Comarcal de Lleida), is an art and history museum located in Lleida, Catalonia, Spain.It is owned by the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Lleida city council, Roman Catholic Diocese of Lleida and the comarcal council of Segrià, of which Lleida is the capital. The museum was established in 1997, while the current building in Rambla d'Aragó was inaugurated in 2007. It assembles a variety of collections, including Roman, Islamic, Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque art. The museum was controversial from its onset: some of the pieces on display were found in the Catalan-speaking part of Aragon known as Franja de Ponent, adjacent to Lleida and previously belonging to its local diocese, which however were segregated by Vatican decree in 1995, and now belong to the neighbouring Roman Catholic Diocese of Barbastro-Monzón, a merger of former dioceses. They have been claimed by Aragonese institutions ever since.

The Centre d'Art la Panera (in English: Art Centre of La Panera) is an art museum in Lleida, Catalonia, Spain. It's named after Carrer de la Panera, the street where it's located, in the old-town area known as Els Vins. Since 2022 the institution is directed by Christian Alonso. Opened in 1997, with the introduction of the Leandre Cristòfol biennial, it is located in a building (the town's corn exchange) dating from the 12th century, in the medieval area of the town. Its individual exhibitions focus on contemporary art, especially Spanish artists, of which the museum includes a solid permanent collection, as well as educational activities and a documentation centre. Artists whose work has been the subject of exhibitions in La Panera include Alicia Framis, Cabello/Carceller or Antoni Abad.
