Kyburg-Buchegg

Küttigkofen is a former municipality in the district of Bucheggberg, in the canton of Solothurn, Switzerland. On 1 January 2014 the former municipalities of Küttigkofen, Tscheppach, Brügglen, Aetingen, Aetigkofen, Bibern (SO), Gossliwil, Hessigkofen, Mühledorf (SO), Kyburg-Buchegg merged into the new municipality of Buchegg.

Buchegg is a municipality in the district of Bucheggberg, in the canton of Solothurn, Switzerland. On 1 January 2014 the former municipalities of Tscheppach, Brügglen, Aetingen, Aetigkofen, Bibern (SO), Gossliwil, Hessigkofen, Mühledorf (SO), Küttigkofen and Kyburg-Buchegg merged into the new municipality of Buchegg. On 1 January 2024 the former municipality of Lüterswil-Gächliwil merged into the municipality of Buchegg.

Buchegg Castle is a castle in the Swiss municipality of Kyburg-Buchegg in the canton of Solothurn, Switzerland. The castle, built in 1546, has a square tower with a hip roof. The Counts of Buchegg had a castle on the site until 1383 when it was destroyed by the House of Kyburg. The current building saw service as a prison and came into private ownership in 1863. It was restored in 1938 and was converted to a museum in 1956.

Brügglen is a former municipality in the district of Bucheggberg, in the canton of Solothurn, Switzerland. On 1 January 2014 the former municipalities of Brügglen, Tscheppach, Aetingen, Aetigkofen, Bibern (SO), Gossliwil, Hessigkofen, Mühledorf (SO), Küttigkofen, Kyburg-Buchegg merged into the new municipality of Buchegg.

Lüterkofen-Ichertswil is a municipality in the district of Bucheggberg, in the canton of Solothurn, Switzerland. It was formed in 1961 from the merger of the two previously independent municipalities of Lüterkofen and Ichertswil.

Bätterkinden is a municipality in the administrative district of Emmental in the canton of Bern in Switzerland. It is about 20 km (12 mi) north of Bern.

Lohn-Ammannsegg is a municipality in the district of Wasseramt in the canton of Solothurn in Switzerland. The municipality was formed in 1993 when Lohn and Ammannsegg united.

Aetingen is a former municipality in the district of Bucheggberg in the canton of Solothurn in Switzerland. On 1 January 2014 the former municipalities of Aetingen, Tscheppach, Brügglen, Aetigkofen, Bibern (SO), Gossliwil, Hessigkofen, Mühledorf (SO), Küttigkofen, Kyburg-Buchegg merged into the new municipality of Buchegg.

The Urtene, also called the Urtenenbach is a river in the Swiss Canton of Bern. It is an 18 km (11 mi) long tributary of the river Emme. It drains a portion of the central Bernese Midland and belongs to the catchment area of the Rhine. The Drainage basin of Urtene is about 96 km2 (37 sq mi). The yearly average flow at the mouth of the river is 2.03 m3/s (72 cu ft/s).

Schalunen is a former municipality in the Bern-Mittelland administrative district in the canton of Bern in Switzerland. On 1 January 2014 the former municipalities of Schalunen, Büren zum Hof, Etzelkofen, Grafenried, Limpach, Mülchi and Zauggenried merged into the municipality of Fraubrunnen.
