Star Chamber Academy was a Nation of Islam (NOI)-operated school in the Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, west London. In 1998 the school had 60 pupils between the ages of five and six. The school, located in the Simba Community Centre in Shepherd's Bush, taught United Kingdom recognised curriculum in addition to African history, history of black historical figures, and NOI practices. The Hammersmith and Fulham Council, which owned the Simba centre, ordered the school to leave. In addition the Department for Education and Employment threatened to close the school if it did not register with the department. NOI supporters protested the proposed expulsion and the proposed closure. By 1999 the school was not ultimately expelled from the community centre, and it registered with the department before the deadline. However the school is no longer operating.

The Princess Victoria is a public house and former gin palace on the Uxbridge Road, Shepherd's Bush, London W12. First opened in 1829, it closed in June 2017 when its parent company, Affinity Bars and Restaurants, became insolvent, but re-opened in November 2017 under new operators Three Cheers Pub Company.

The Old Oak and Wormholt estates are London County Council cottage estates constructed between 1912 and 1928. They were declared a conservation area in May 1980. The two estates were influenced by Ebenezer Howard's Garden city movement and the Arts and Crafts movement, which high quality external detailing and an open setting with privet hedges, front gardens and wide grass verges.

St Thomas Syriac Orthodox Cathedral Acton is a Syriac Orthodox Cathedral in Acton, London, England, formerly known as St Saviour's Centre for the Deaf Anglican church, which was a social centre for deaf people, and the first and only purpose-built church for deaf people as such. St Saviour's was the central location for the London Diocesan Chaplaincy among Deaf and Deafblind people. The church and social centre closed in 2014 following a loss of funding, and insufficient financial reserves to maintain the premises. The final church service was held on Wednesday 24 September 2014, at which the Bishop of Willesden officiated.On 25 November 2016, the cathedral was consecrated as a cathedral for the Syriac Orthodox Church, under the new name of St Thomas Syriac Orthodox Cathedral Acton. The ceremony was officiated by Syriac Patriarch of Antioch Ignatius Aphrem II, at the presence of Charles, Prince of Wales and several seniors of the Church of England.

Wormholt Park is a public park in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.

The Queen Adelaide was a pub at 412 Uxbridge Road, Shepherd's Bush, London W12. It is a Greene King property. It is a Grade II listed building, built in about 1900.

Phoenix Academy is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form located in White City area of Shepherd's Bush, London, England.

St Katherine Westway is a Church of England parish church in Hammersmith, west London. Its original dedication was St Catherine Coleman, named after the church of St Katherine Coleman in the City of London, whose sale funded its construction in 1922, to a design by Robert Atkinson - it was assigned a parish in 1929. Westway refers to Westway, the road beside which it stands. The original church was destroyed by bombing on 14 September 1940 and the foundation stone for the present one was laid on 25 October 1958.

Ginger Pig is a butchery which used to raise livestock in the Vale of Pickering and North York Moors and retail the meat in its shops in London and supplies restaurants and other specialist butchers. It was founded by Tim Wilson in 2003. A series of Ginger Pig cookbooks based upon their produce was released in 2013.

HM Prison Wormwood Scrubs (nicknamed "The Scrubs") is a Category B men's local prison, located opposite Hammersmith Hospital and W12 Conferences on Du Cane Road in the White City in West London, England. The prison is operated by Her Majesty's Prison Service.

The Church of the Holy Ghost and St Stephen is a Catholic church at 44 Ashchurch Grove, White City, London W12. The church and its attached presbytery is a Grade II listed building, built in 1903–04 and designed by the architect-priest Alexander Scoles.
