Baldivis Secondary College

Baldivis is a semi-rural residential suburb 46 kilometres (29 mi) south of Perth, Western Australia, and 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) southeast of the regional centre of Rockingham. It is located within the City of Rockingham local government area. Baldivis is home to the most Afrikaans, Māori and Shona speakers of any suburb in Australia. Housing estates in the suburb include Tuart Ridge, Settlers Hills, Settlers Townside, The Rivergums, Baldivis Central, Spires,Baldivis North, Baldivis Garden, Baldivis Parks, The Chimes, Brightwood, Evermore Heights, The Ridge, The Chase, Highbury Park, Heritage Park, The Dales, Avalon, Woodleigh Grove, Sherwood and Parkland Heights.

Tranby College is a K–12, coeducational independent Uniting Church school located in Baldivis, Western Australia. Tranby College was founded in 1997, and since then, has gained more buildings and classes for their students.

Baldivis is an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia. It is located in Perth's southern suburbs, and named after the suburb of Baldivis. Baldivis was created by the Western Australian Electoral Commission in a 2015 redistribution, and elected its first member at the 2017 state election. It incorporated areas that previously fell into the seats of Kwinana and Warnbro. Baldivis was estimated to have a notional 6.4-point majority for the Labor Party (based on the results of the 2013 election), and was considered a safe seat for that party.

The Division of Brand is an Australian electoral division in Perth, Western Australia. Brand was first created in 1984 and is named after Sir David Brand, Premier of Western Australia 1959-71. Brand governed Western Australia at a time when the state was developing its new mining and industrial base.According to the 2006 census, Brand is the electorate with the lowest proportion (12.6%) of residents with a university qualification.The current MP is Madeleine King, a member of the Australian Labor Party. She was first elected in 2016. Brand has remained a Labor stronghold since its inception, having never supported the Coalition.

Rockingham Lakes Regional Park is a conservation park approximately 40 kilometres (25 mi) south of Perth, Western Australia, located within the City of Rockingham. The park, established in 1997, covers a non-continuous area of 4,270 hectares (10,600 acres) and occupies approximately 16 percent of the area of the City of Rockingham. In Western Australia, regional parks consist of areas of land that have been identified as having outstanding conservation, landscape and recreation values. The park contains remnants of the once widespread Swan Coastal Plain and two threatened ecological communities, Thrombolites and Sedgelands. It provides evidence of the sea level changes over the past 7,000 years. Rockingham Lakes is one of eleven regional parks in the Perth region of Western Australia. The purpose of these regional parks is to serve as urban havens to preserve and restore cultural heritage and valuable ecosystems as well as to encourage sustainable nature-based recreation activities.

Waikiki is an outer southern suburb of Perth, the capital city of Western Australia. It adjoins and is closely associated with Safety Bay in the City of Rockingham. A prime landmark is the Waikiki Village shopping centre on Read Street, the main road linking Rockingham with Warnbro and Port Kennedy. The suburb is named after the Honolulu neighbourhood of Waikiki and was chosen by the developer of the area. The name was officially gazetted on 5 April 1974.

Warnbro railway station is a commuter railway station in Warnbro, a suburb of Perth, Western Australia. It is on the Mandurah line, which is part of the Transperth commuter rail network, and is located immediately south-east of the interchange of Safety Bay Road and Ennis Avenue. It has two side platforms, linked by a pedestrian overpass accessed by stairs, a lift, and escalators. Services run every 10 minutes during peak, and every 15 minutes between peak. The journey to Perth Underground station is 47.5 kilometres (29.5 mi), and takes 38 minutes. The journey to Mandurah railway station is 23.3 kilometres (14.5 mi), and takes 13 minutes. The station has a bus interchange with seven bus stands and 12 regular bus routes. Known as Waikiki station during planning, the station was included in the South West Metropolitan Railway Master Plan, released in 1999. Originally, there was only going to be a single track railway south of Waikiki station, making the station the terminus for the majority of trains on the line. This was revised later to the entire Mandurah line being dual tracked. The station was designed by Jones Coulter Young Architects and Taylor Robinson Architects. Construction on the station by Doric Constructions and Brierty Contractors began in August 2005. The cost of the station was $15 million. Construction was completed in March 2007, and the station opened, along with the rest of the Mandurah line, on 23 December 2007.

Leda is a southern suburb of Perth, Western Australia within the City of Kwinana. Leda is one of the five main suburbs of Kwinana. Leda is one of the Kwinana suburbs named after a ship. The brig Leda brought settlers to the new Swan River Colony in January 1830. The suburb name was approved in 1969. Leda suburb has a strong link to its neighbouring suburb Wellard, with transport and retail accessed in part from there. Climate is characteristic of Western Australia, with rainfall concentrated around the colder period of the year between May and September. Leda houses employees of Kwinana's industrial region, and common occupations are in construction, planning and technical fields. Retail and food preparation is another common form of employment. There are several primary and secondary education facilities in Leda and local Kwinana suburbs, including schools assisting young people with disabilities. Leda contains one region protected by state environmental conservation agreements. Its reserve contains protected wetlands and forests, including part of the Swan Coastal Plain and the Beeliar Wetland system. The Swan River makes up the local water catchment. Wellard railway station is a railway station in Wellard, a suburb of Perth, Western Australia. It is on the Mandurah railway line, which is part of the Transperth commuter rail network, and is located at the centre of a transit oriented development. It has two side platforms located in a cutting, accessed by a ground-level station concourse. Services run every 10 minutes during peak, and every 15 minutes between peak. The journey to Perth railway station is 37.1 kilometres (23.1 mi), and takes 30 minutes. The station has a bus interchange with four bus stands, and three regular bus routes. The station was known as Leda station during planning. The station was designed by Woodhead International Architects and MPS Architects. Construction of the station by Doric Constructions and Brierty Contractors started in late 2005. The station was complete by January 2007, and was opened on 23 December 2007, along with the rest of the Mandurah line.

Rockingham General Hospital is a public hospital in Rockingham, Western Australia, in the south west of the Perth Metropolitan Region. The 18-hectare (44-acre) hospital was originally known as Rockingham Kwinana District Hospital, but was renamed in 2008 during a major redevelopment. The 229-bed hospital has an emergency department, operating theatres, and medical, surgical and paediatric wards. There are also aged care rehabilitation, intensive care, mental health, chemotherapy, and obstetrics units.
