Sarisbury is a village to the west of Park Gate within the borough of Fareham, Hampshire, in the south of England. Its focal point is Sarisbury Green (the two names are interchangeable) and the parish church of St Paul, formerly part of Titchfield parish. In previous times it was a rural locality dependent on fruit growing. At the 2011 Census the population of the ward was 7,385. Nearby villages include Bursledon, Hamble-le-Rice and Swanwick. The name is pronounced 'Sarsbury' with the 'i' being silent.

Brooklands is an 18th-century country house in Sarisbury in Fareham in the English county of Hampshire. The grounds of the house overlook the River Hamble. It has been listed Grade II* on the National Heritage List for England since October 1976.

Warsash is a village in southern Hampshire, England, situated at the mouth of the River Hamble, west of the area known as Locks Heath and south of Sarisbury. It is also home to the Warsash Maritime Academy, part of Southampton Solent University, which provides training for Merchant Navy Officers from around the world.The Locks Heath, Warsash and Whiteley urban area had a combined population of 43,359 according to 2011 Census. This also includes Park Gate and Swanwick and forms a subdivision of the South Hampshire built up area. Warsash is in the borough of Fareham, and is part of the Fareham parliamentary constituency. The village lies in the Hook-with-Warsash parish, with the hamlet of Hook.

Mercury Marshes is a 6.4-hectare (16-acre) Local Nature Reserve in Hamble-le-Rice in Hampshire. It is owned by Hampshire County Council and managed by Hampshire Countryside Service. It is part of Solent and Southampton Water Ramsar site and Special Protection Area, of Solent Maritime Special Area of Conservation, and of Lee-on-The Solent to Itchen Estuary, which is a Site of Special Scientific Interest.This site on the west bank of the River Hamble has intertidal mud, reedbeds, islands, saltmarsh, creeks and woodland. The saltmarsh and islands are dominated by sea purslane, cordgrass, sea aster and glasswort. The reserve is important for invertebrates and waders.

Brookfield Community School is a large state-funded secondary school located in the Locks Heath ward of the Borough of Fareham. Brookfield serves 5 feeder schools in the local area. Brookfield is one of the largest co-educational, comprehensive secondary schools in Hampshire; the school currently has approximately 1800 students on-roll and there are approximately 120 teachers employed at the school. The school teaches years 7 to 11.

Coldeast is a former manor house and former psychiatric hospital between Park Gate and Sarisbury in Hampshire, England. The house is used today as a wedding and conference venue and much of the former grounds are being redeveloped for housing and the construction of a new leisure centre.

Swanwick Shore Strict Baptist Chapel is a Strict Baptist place of worship in Lower Swanwick, a village in the Borough of Fareham in Hampshire, England. It has been in continuous use for worship since 1844, when it succeeded a converted boat-shed which had become unsuitable. Worshippers had gathered there since 1835, led by a pastor who had previously attended a different chapel nearby and who continued to lead the congregation until his death in 1892. Historic England has listed the simple brick building at Grade II for its architectural and historical importance.

Lincegrove and Hackett's Marshes is a 37.8-hectare (93-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest on the west bank of the River Hamble between Southampton and Fareham in Hampshire. It is part of Solent and Southampton Water Ramsar site and Special Protection Area, and of Solent Maritime Special Area of Conservation. Hackett's Marsh is a 20.4 hectares (50 acres) Local Nature Reserve.This site is one of the best examples of saltmarshes on the south coast. It is dominated by sea purslane and common cordgrass, with other flora including sea lavender, thrift, sea aster and sea clubrush.

Its diverse insects, which include some species which are nationally rare, provide an important source of food for waders, such as golden plovers, black-tailed godwits and curlews.

The Jolly Sailor is an 18th-century public house on Land's End Road in Bursledon in Hampshire, England. It has been listed Grade II on the National Heritage List for England since December 1955. The pub can be approached on foot or by boat via a pontoon onto the River Hamble. The pub faces Swanwick Marina across the water. It is owned by Hall and Woodhouse brewery.It is two storeys in height with an attic and made from brick with a red tiled roof. The rear of the pub is made from Flemish bond brick with the front made from alternate bands of blue header and red stretcher bricks. The pub has two ships figureheads displayed on the exterior. It has been a pub since 1845, having originally been built as a vicarage. The interior of the pub features various maritime paraphernalia such as ship's lanterns. The Jolly Sailor was included in the Daily Telegraph's Pint to Pint: A Crawl Around Britain's Best Pubs. In 2007 Country Life listed it as one of 'Six Classic Sailor's Pubs'. It has been included in The Good Pub Guide.It was featured as the local pub in the 1980s BBC television drama Howards' Way.

Lower Swanwick is a village on the River Hamble in Hampshire, England. It is located within the borough of Fareham at the eastern end of Bursledon Bridge, which carries the A27 across the River.

Bursledon railway station serves the village of Bursledon in Hampshire, England. It is on the West Coastway Line. The station is operated by South Western Railway, who provide the majority of trains serving it (the exception being a peak-period service operated by Southern). The station itself is located near a quay side on the River Hamble, where a number of yachts are moored, alongside a local pub, The Jolly Sailor. The M27 crosses the water near the station. The train station has many local walks nearby, with access to Hamble via the Strawberry Trail.
