Anaheim Hills is a planned community encompassing the eastern portions of the city of Anaheim, in Orange County, California.

Yorba Cemetery is a historic cemetery in Yorba Linda, California, originally part of Bernardo Yorba's Rancho Cañón de Santa Ana. It was deeded to the County of Orange in 1967.In 1858, the 40,000 square-foot plot of land was willed to the Catholic Church by Bernardo Yorba, as a burial ground to serve Yorba's family and friends. The last official burial occurred in 1939. There is also an even older burial ground north of the cemetery.

The Yorba Hacienda was a domestic dwelling constructed by Bernardo Yorba on the Rancho Cañón de Santa Ana Mexican land grant, and located in the present city of Yorba Linda, California. It was notable as the seat of the wealthiest member of the Yorba family and as the largest adobe hacienda in Alta California.

The Peralta Hills are a ridge of hills in northeastern Orange County, California. The ridge technically begins with Burruel Point (685 feet) in the city of Orange, close to where Nohl Ranch Road meets the Costa Mesa Freeway (SR 55), although there are hills to the west of Burruel Point, extending into the vast alluvial plain of the Los Angeles Basin to the community of Olive, California, ending roughly at the intersection of Orange-Olive Road and Lincoln Avenue. The ridge gains in elevation eastward, with peaks of 500 to 1,000 feet, until it meets the Santa Ana Mountains along the eastern boundaries of the city of Anaheim, roughly at the Eastern Transportation Corridor (SR 241). The hills are divided from the Puente Hills (home to the community of Yorba Linda to the north) by the Santa Ana River. Robbers Peak (between Serrano Avenue and Weir Canyon) is the most notable peak within the Peralta Hills, and Weir Canyon the most notable canyon.

Esperanza High School (EHS) is a public high school located in Anaheim, California and is part of the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District. It is a California Distinguished School and is home to various California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) championship athletic programs; it is also home to numerous academic clubs, such as Speech and Debate, Mock Trial, and Academic Decathlon. It is a member of the Century League. The school's colors are cardinal and gold, and its mascot is the Aztec. The school has two campuses: a main campus and a west campus connected by a pedestrian bridge over Kellogg Drive. Since 2010, west campus became known as the Freshmen Focus Campus; however, the mathematics and foreign language buildings on this campus are not reserved solely for freshmen. The west campus is the former Orchard Drive Elementary school, which the high school absorbed in 1986. Current enrollment exceeds 1,700. Most pupils come from nearby Yorba Linda, California, Anaheim and east Placentia.

KFSH-FM (95.9 MHz, "95.9 The Fish") is a commercial radio station that is licensed to La Mirada, California, and serves Orange County and southern Los Angeles County. The station is owned by Salem Media Group and has broadcast a contemporary Christian music (CCM) format since 2000. The station has studios in Glendale, with the transmitter based in the city of Orange. The branding refers to the ichthys, the ancient fish icon used by the Christian church since its birth during the time of the Roman Empire; the ichthys itself is part of the station logo.

Santa Ana Canyon (Spanish: Cañón de Santa Ana), or the Santa Ana Narrows, is the water gap where the Santa Ana River passes between the Santa Ana Mountains and the Chino Hills, near the intersection of Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties, California. It receives particularly strong Santa Ana winds in comparison to surrounding areas, hence the name. Originally, U.S. Route 91 ran through the canyon; however, it has long since been re-signed or upgraded along the entirety of its former right-of-way in the state. California State Route 91 is its primary successor.

Oak Canyon Nature Center is a nature preserve located in Anaheim, Southern California. Owned by the city, the park spans an area of 58-acres (23 hectares), comprising three adjoining canyons of the Santa Ana foothills. It has an elevation range from 525 to 825 feet (160 to 251 m)., and contains three major vegetation zones: coastal sage scrub, oak woodland and riparian. Open on weekends, the John J. Collier Interpretive Center features a museum with live animal and regional natural history exhibits. The center offers nature education programs and summer camp programs.

Villa Park is a city in northern Orange County, California, United States. It was founded in 1962. At the 2010 census, the city had a population of 5,812, the lowest population for a city in Orange County. The city is largely zoned for single-family residences on lots that average about 20,000 square feet (1,900 m2), or 1⁄2 acre, in size. Within the city limits there is one small shopping center. City Hall, including a community room, and a branch of the Orange County Public Libraries system is adjacent to the city's only shopping center.

Villa Park Dam is an embankment dam on Santiago Creek in Orange County, California in the United States. Along with the upstream Santiago Dam, the dam serves primarily for flood control for the cities of Villa Park, Orange, Tustin and Santa Ana and also regulates the inflow of Santiago Creek into the Santa Ana River. Construction was completed in 1963 (1963), and the dam is owned by the County of Orange.Standing 118 feet (36 m) high, the dam forms a reservoir with a maximum capacity of 15,600 acre-feet (19,200,000 m3), controlling runoff from a catchment area of 83.9 square miles (217 km2). Due to flood control requirements, the reservoir is typically at a very low level or empty during the dry season.

Villa Park High School (VPHS) is a four-year suburban public high school located in the city of Villa Park, California, United States. It was built in 1964 and is one of four comprehensive high schools in the Orange Unified School District. The campus serves students residing in Villa Park and portions of the cities of Orange and Anaheim. Enrollment at VPHS (for the 2020-2021 school year) was 2,185 students. The ethnic breakdown of the student population was 10.4% Asian, 51.5% Hispanic, 0.8% African American and 32.1% white (non-Hispanic). The professional staff includes 88 teachers, six counselors, a library media specialist, a career adviser, an activities director, and three administrators. A dedicated classified staff also supports the school program.The school Academic Performance Index (API) for the 2011–2012 school year was 815, a six-point increase over the previous year. The regular school day begins at 9:25 AM and ends at 3:25 PM. A small number of earlier classes are available for students who want to begin and finish their school day earlier. These "zero period" classes meet from 8:30 to 9:20 AM. A hybrid block schedule has been implemented for the 2022-2023 school year, with students attending all classes on Mondays, then alternating odd and even block periods Tuesday through Friday.

West Home is a historic building in Yorba Linda, California. It was the home of Jessamyn West during her childhood. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981.
