Viscount station is the northerly terminus of the Link Train automated people mover serving Toronto Pearson International Airport in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. It is located on the south side of Viscount Road, between American Drive and Highway 409.The station is an elevated structure with a single island platform built beside the employee parking lot, long term discount multi-storey parking garage, reduced rate parking lots and the ALT Hotel. There are bus connections to MiWay Routes 24 and 107.This station is located near a future transit hub proposed by the GTAA and Metrolinx with connections to Line 5 Eglinton, Line 6 Finch West, GO Regional Express Rail, the Mississauga Transitway and many more local and regional bus connections. Based on renderings, building this hub may involve the removal of the Link Train but this is subject to change.

It is the intermediate stop on the three stop Link Train automated people mover.The station is an elevated structure serving a single island platform that connects Terminal 3 of the airport with the Sheraton Gateway Hotel. Terminal 3 is served by WestJet, and airlines belonging to the SkyTeam and Oneworld alliances. Terminal 3 station has connections with Toronto Transit Commission routes; 900 Airport Express bus service to Kipling station (on Line 2 Bloor–Danforth); 52A Lawrence West local service and 952 Lawrence West Express during rush hours to Lawrence station (on Line 1 Yonge–University); 300A, 332 and 352 Blue Night Network buses. It also has a connection with MiWay route 100 Airport Express bus during weekdays only. The bus stop for these routes is located outside the terminal on the arrivals level.

GTAA Cogeneration Plant is a combined cycle natural gas and steam power station owned by the Greater Toronto Airports Authority, in Mississauga, Ontario. The plant is primarily used to supply steam (for heating and cooling) and power to the Toronto Pearson International Airport with surplus power sold onto the Ontario grid. The plant is located across from the airport at Elmbank Road and Network Road next to the Central Utilities Plant.

On April 17, 2023, a grand theft occurred at Toronto Pearson International Airport in Canada, with over C$20 million (US$15 million) worth of gold and other high-value items being stolen. In the evening of Monday, April 17, a container which contained the items was offloaded off an inbound aircraft according to normal procedures and transferred to an airport holding facility before it was "removed by illegal means", according to Peel Regional Police. An anonymous source familiar with the investigation confirmed to CTV News Toronto that the container was offloaded off an Air Canada aircraft and was subsequently transferred to an Air Canada holding facility at Pearson Airport, but this has not been confirmed by Peel Regional Police. No suspects have been identified.The gold was bound for the Canadian bank Toronto-Dominion Bank while the cash was enroute to the Vancouver Bullion and Currency Exchange.

It handled 50.5 million passengers in 2019. The airport is named in honour of Lester B. Pearson, who served as the 14th prime minister of Canada and received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1957. Toronto Pearson is located 22.5 kilometres (14.0 mi) northwest of Downtown Toronto with the majority of the airport situated in Mississauga and a small portion of the airfield, along Silver Dart Drive north of Renforth Drive, extending into Toronto's western district of Etobicoke. It has five runways and two passenger terminals along with numerous cargo and maintenance facilities on a site that covers 1,867 hectares (4,613 acres).It is the largest and busiest airport in Canada. Prior to 2020, it was the second-busiest international air passenger gateway in the Americas and the 30th-busiest airport in the world by passenger traffic. Toronto Pearson is the primary hub for Air Canada. It also serves as a hub for WestJet, cargo airline FedEx Express, and as a base of operations for Air Transat and Sunwing Airlines. Toronto Pearson is operated by the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) as part of Transport Canada's National Airports System, and is the largest airport in the world with facilities for United States border preclearance.An extensive network of non-stop domestic flights is operated from Toronto Pearson by several airlines to all major and many secondary cities across all provinces of Canada. As of 2014, over 75 airlines operated around 1,250 daily departures from the airport to more than 180 destinations across all six of the world's inhabited continents.

In October, 1982, three members of an anarchist urban guerrilla group known as Direct Action acted upon "their wish to end the arms race" and filled a stolen pick-up truck with 550 kg (1,210 lb) of dynamite and drove from Vancouver to Toronto, Canada planting the bomb outside Litton Industries, a manufacturer of American cruise missile components many feared would increase the risk of nuclear war. Although the militants had phoned to evacuate the building, the bomb was accidentally detonated several minutes before its announced deadline, injuring several bomb squad police officers and civilians in the vicinity.

Malton is a neighbourhood in the northeastern part of the city of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, located to the northwest of Toronto. Malton is bounded by Highway 427 to the east, the Brampton city limits (a Canadian National Railway (CN) rail line) to the north, Airport Road to the west, and a second CN line and Toronto Pearson International Airport to the south. Malton is unique in that it does not adjoin any other Mississauga neighbourhood, being separated by the airport and extensive industrial areas. All of the roads in this area are named after cities in the United Kingdom. Mimico Creek flows through Malton. The oldest portion of Malton is located on the northwest corner of Airport and Derry Roads. Together, the Malton and Britannia Woods areas comprise Ward 5.

Toronto Area Control Center (ICAO: CZYZ) is one of seven area control centers in Canada operated by Nav Canada. The Toronto Area Control Centre is based near Toronto Pearson International Airport in Mississauga, Ontario. From the Toronto Area Control Centre, air traffic controllers provide en route and terminal control services to aircraft in the Toronto Flight Information Region (FIR). The Toronto FIR airspace covers most of Southern Ontario, Central Ontario, parts of Eastern Ontario, and parts of northwestern Michigan. To the east are the air traffic control centres of Montreal and Boston; to the south are the Minneapolis, Cleveland (which covers the extreme southwestern area of Ontario), and New York air traffic control centres; to the west is the Winnipeg control centre.

The Toronto West Detention Centre was a maximum security remand facility located in Rexdale, a community located in the north-west corner of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The facility was known as the Metropolitan Toronto West Detention Centre until Rexdale, as part of the City of Etobicoke, became part of the newly amalgamated City of Toronto in 1998. With a designed capacity for 631 prisoners, the Toronto West Detention Centre housed adult males who had been remanded into custody while awaiting trial or sentencing, were serving short sentences, or were awaiting transfer to federal or provincial correctional facilities. Over the years the Toronto West Detention Centre had at times also housed female and juvenile offenders. From October 1997 through January 1999 the facility underwent extensive retrofitting of its security systems using up-to-date technology. The facility has also housed foreign nationals being detained on security certificates. In January 2014 the Toronto South Detention Centre opened to replace the Toronto West Detention Centre and the Toronto Jail (Don Jail). The Toronto Jail was demolished and is now a vacant site situated beside the new hospital facility. Demolition of the Toronto West Detention Centre commenced in December 2016 with a projected finish of February 2017. The 111 Disco road site is slated to become the home of the new Toronto Young Offender Facility.
