Les Halles D'Anjou

Galeries d'Anjou (formerly "CF Galeries d'Anjou") is a shopping mall located in the borough of Anjou in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Major tenants include Hudson's Bay, Simons, The Brick, Saks Off 5th, Winners and Sports Experts/Atmosphere. In addition to the main indoor shopping centre, Galeries d'Anjou has several stores around its parking lot including Best Buy and Rona l'Entrepôt. Formerly owned by Cadillac Fairview, the mall had long been associated with the company's other shopping centres in the area Fairview Pointe-Claire, Carrefour Laval and Promenades Saint-Bruno. It is now wholly-owned and operated by Ivanhoé Cambridge. It constitutes, along with rival Place Versailles, the super-regional malls in eastern Montreal. Galeries d'Anjou is currently over 1,100,000 square feet (100,000 m2) and was by far the largest shopping mall on the Island of Montreal throughout the 1970s and much of the 1980s.

Anjou (French pronunciation: ​[ɑ̃ʒu]) is a borough (arrondissement) of the city of Montreal. Prior to its 2002 merger it was a city known as Ville d'Anjou.

Its population during the 2011 election was 108,811. The current member of parliament is Patricia Lattanzio who is the first woman to represent this riding since its creation and is also a member of the Liberal Party. This riding is one of the safest Liberal ridings in all of Canada having elected the last candidate with over 69% of the vote.

The Montreal Heart Institute (MHI) (French: Institut de Cardiologie de Montréal), in Montreal, Quebec, is a specialty hospital dedicated to the development of cardiology, which is affiliated with the Université de Montréal. The MHI is founded in 1954 by Paul David, and it is considered one of the largest cardiology institutes in the world, which is the first educational hospital on cardiovascular diseases in Canada, and is ranked as one of the largest preventive medicine centre in Quebec.Prominent Montreal businessman J. Louis Levesque was a major benefactor whose initial $1 million donation in 1969 doubled the research department's budget. Levesque supported the Institute for more than a quarter of a century, donating more than $10 million.The MHI was ranked number one research hospital in Canada for researcher intensity, and research expenditure per researcher, on the 2015 list of "Canada's Top 40 Research Hospitals" published by Research Infosource.

École secondaire d'Anjou is a francophone public co-educational secondary school located in most part in Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve borough and in small part in Anjou borough in Montreal. Part of the Commission scolaire de la Pointe-de-l'Île, it was originally in the catholic School board Commission scolaire Jérôme-Le Royer before the 1998 reorganization of School boards from religious communities into linguistic communities in Quebec. École secondaire d'Anjou offers regular and special education programs, welcoming classes, professional programs and adults programs. This school hosts actually 1,337 students and 67 teachers.

Place Versailles is a shopping mall located at the corner of Sherbrooke Street East and Highway 25 in the Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve borough of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. With its 225 stores, it is the largest enclosed shopping centre on the Island of Montreal. Its anchors are Canadian Tire, Maxi, Winners/HomeSense and Bureau en Gros.Most of the mall is one storey high, but a section of the mall, which was added in the 1980s, has two floors. Place Versailles is situated next to the Radisson metro station and is less than 2 km south of the Galeries d'Anjou mall.

The station opened on June 6, 1976, as part of the extension of the Green Line to Honoré-Beaugrand station.
