Norwich Airport (IATA: NWI, ICAO: EGSH) is a small international airport in Hellesdon, Norfolk, England, 2.5 miles (4.0 km) north of Norwich. In 2017, Norwich Airport was the 28th busiest airport in the UK and busiest in the East Anglia region.Norwich Airport has a CAA Public Use Aerodrome Licence that allows flights for the public transport of passengers or for flying instruction. Along with a long history of flights to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol via KLM Cityhopper, it offers flights to various destinations in the United Kingdom and Europe. Besides the commercial flights, charter operators also operate out of Norwich. Bristow Helicopters, DanCopter and Babcock Mission Critical Services Offshore fly crews to North Sea gas rigs and SaxonAir operates executive, private aircraft and helicopter charter flights. The airport was established on the site of a former RAF base in the early 1970s under the ownership of the local authorities. It was later sold into private ownership.

The City of Norwich Aviation Museum is a volunteer-run museum and charitable trust dedicated to the preservation of the aviation history of the county of Norfolk, England. The museum is located on the northern edge of Norwich International Airport and is reached by road through the village of Horsham St Faith. The museum welcomed its newest exhibit in October 2020 when it received EL-RJN this aircraft is 21 years old and is an Avro RJ85.

Horsham St Faith and Newton St Faith is a civil parish in the English county of Norfolk, consisting of the former parishes of Horsham St Faith and Newton St Faith. Collectively they are known as St Faiths. It covers an area of 7.33 km2 (2.83 sq mi) and had a population of 1,624 in 770 households at the 2001 census, increasing to a population of 1,724 in 797 households at the 2011 Census. For the purposes of local government, it falls within the district of Broadland.

Horsham St Faith is a village in Norfolk, England. The village lies close and to the east of the A140 road and is 5 miles (8.0 km) north of Norwich and some 8 miles (12.9 km) south of Aylsham It takes its name from the River Hor, which runs through it on its way from Horsford to Horstead; and a Benedictine priory, founded in honour of St Faith that, until the dissolution of the monasteries, stood there. It is near Norwich International Airport, which began in 1939 as RAF Horsham St Faith and home of the City of Norwich Aviation Museum. Administratively it is in the civil parish of Horsham St Faith and Newton St Faith within the district of Broadland. It also forms part the wider Norwich Built-up area. The name 'Horsham' means 'horse homestead/village'. It has the remains of a Horsford Castle, a motte and bailey castle, on the Horsford side of the A140 road, reached by following a track to the north of Church Street, which joins Horsford and Horsham St Faith. On 17 October from the early 12th century until 1872 it played host to one of the country's largest cattle fairs. This fair was held to the south of Spixworth Road around Bullock Hill and Calf Lane.At the beginning of the 20th century, the Manor House and the land that in 1939 became RAF Horsham St Faith, was owned by John Thomas Spurrell, youngest son of Richard James Spurrell, of Thurgarton. Inside the church at Horsham St Faith there is a memorial to his eldest son, John Francis Brabazon Spurrell, who was killed by buffalo at Kibaya, Tanganyika, in 1927.

Manor Park is a cricket ground in Horsford, Norfolk. The ground is the main home ground of Norfolk County Cricket Club. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1986, when Norfolk played their first MCCA Knockout Trophy match on the ground against Suffolk. The same season they played another MCCA Knockout Trophy match against Oxfordshire at the ground. Norfolk next played at the ground in 2001, when they played their first Minor Counties Championship match on the ground against Lincolnshire. From 2001 to present, the ground has hosted 30 Minor Counties Championship matches and 22 MCCA Knockout Trophy matches.The ground has held List-A matches. The first List-A match at the ground saw Norfolk play Wales Minor Counties in the 2nd round of the 2001 Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy. From 2001 to 2003, the ground hosted 5 List-A matches, the last of which saw Norfolk play Lincolnshire in the 1st round of the 2004 Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy which was played in 2003.In local domestic cricket, the ground is the home of Horsford Cricket Club who play in the East Anglian Premier Cricket League.

Old Catton is a suburban village and civil parish in the English county of Norfolk which lies 2 miles (3.2 km) to the north-east of central Norwich. The parish is bounded by the Norwich International Airport at Hellesdon to the west and Sprowston to the east. The northern boundary is with the village of Spixworth while the A1042 road forms the southern boundary. It covers an area of 2.33 km2 (0.90 sq mi) and had a population of 5,954 in 2,512 households at the 2001 census, increasing to a population of 6,108 in 2,666 households at the 2011 Census. For the purposes of local government, it falls within the district of Broadland. The village is twinned with the French commune of Lavaré.

Catton Grove Chalk Pit is a 0.6-hectare (1.5-acre) geological Site of Special Scientific Interest on the northern outskirts of Norwich in Norfolk. It is a Geological Conservation Review site.This Cretaceous site exposes rocks dating to the late Campanian, around 75 million years ago, and it is the type site for the Catton Sponge Bed. Its well preserved fossils include many undescribed sponges and important ammonites.The site is private land with no public access.

Hellesdon High School is a secondary school and sixth form with academy status in Hellesdon, Norfolk, England. The school is part of the Wensum Trust. The headmaster duties are shared between Tom Rolfe & Mike Earl. The school incorporates 1,500 pupils including 300 in the Sixth Form Centre. Previously the school shared a sixth form provision with Taverham High School, but this was phased out in September 2014.
