The Diocese of Pontoise (Latin: Dioecesis Pontisarensis; French: Diocèse de Pontoise) is a Latin Church ecclesiastical territory or diocese of the Catholic Church in France. Erected in 1966, the Diocese of Pontoise was split off from the Diocese of Versailles. As of 2013, the diocese was a suffragan diocese in the ecclesiastical province of the metropolitan Archdiocese of Paris. The Church Saint-Maclou became the Diocese of Pontoise's cathedral when the diocese was created in 1966. As of 2013, the diocese had one priest for every 4,677 Catholics. On Thursday 31 January 2013 Pope Benedict XVI appointed Bishop Stanislas Lalanne of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Coutances, in Coutances, France, to be Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Pontoise.

Pontoise Cathedral (French: Cathédrale Saint-Maclou de Pontoise) is a Roman Catholic church located in the town of Pontoise, on the outskirts of Val d'Oise in Paris, France. The cathedral, dedicated to Saint Malo (Saint Maclou), has been the episcopal seat of the Diocese of Pontoise since its creation in 1966. It was formerly a parish church. Construction began in the 12th century on the site of an ancient chapel of Saint Eustace and the building was enlarged and completed in the 15th and 16th centuries. Thus the central and eastern parts of the cathedral are 12th century, while the tower and the central portal are in the Flamboyant style. There are Renaissance additions flanking the central structure, and a north portal of the same period. The cathedral has been a monument historique since 1840.

Pontoise (French pronunciation: [pɔ̃twaz]) is a commune north of Paris, France. It is located 28.4 km (17.6 mi) from the centre of Paris, in the "new town" of Cergy-Pontoise.

The siege of Pontoise (6 June – 19 September 1441) took place during the Hundred Years War. French forces led by King Charles VII of France besieged and captured the last English stronghold in Île de France, eliminating the English threat to Paris.

The arrondissement of Pontoise is an arrondissement of France in the Val-d'Oise department in the Île-de-France region. It has 105 communes. Its population is 346,946 (2019), and its area is 766.0 km2 (295.8 sq mi).

Pontoise station is the train station serving the city of Pontoise and the surrounding suburbs. The station is a large building situated on Place Charles de Gaulle itself at the bottom end of Rue Thiers. Rue Thiers was built for the station and links Pontoise's Medieval centre to the railway. The station was opened to link Paris to Dieppe, it is parallel to the line with a long footbridge stretching over the lines to the Canrobert bus station. Trains no longer serve Dieppe (now rerouted via Rouen) but is well served by regional trains (Transilien) to Paris St-Lazare and Paris Nord. Pontoise Station is also served by RER C which uses a new bridge built of the River Oise to increase capacity.

Saint-Ouen-l'Aumône is a railway station in Saint-Ouen-l'Aumône, a northwestern suburb of Paris, France. It is served by Transilien regional trains from Paris to Pontoise and from Pontoise to Creil, and by RER rapid transit.

Aren'Ice, also known under the working name Centre national du Hockey sur Glace (English: National Ice Hockey Center), is a multi-purpose arena primarily used as an ice rink, located in Cergy, Val-d'Oise, France. It is both the French Ice Hockey Federation's national training center, and the home ice for professional ice hockey team Jokers de Cergy-Pontoise.

Quartier de l'Église is a railway station in the town of Saint-Ouen-l'Aumône, France. It is situated to the south of the town-centre at the level crossing with the Chaussée Jules César. The station opened in 1877 and was originally called Saint-Ouen-l'Aumône, but with recent railway line constructions the number of stations in Saint-Ouen-l'Aumône was getting confusing, and as the station was not the principal station for the town and its location was near the town's church, the suffix Quartier de l'Église was added. The station building is a small cottage situated at the level crossing which is used for ticket selling as well as the transport police. The line serving the station is a two track line with two side platforms. There is no footbridge and a crossover at the level crossing is available to change platforms. The station is served by one service only, with some trains not continuing to Gisors and terminating at Pontoise.

Saint-Ouen-l'Aumône (French pronunciation: [sɛ̃twɛ̃ lomon] ) is a commune in the northwestern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located 27.6 km (17.1 mi) from the center of Paris, in the "new town" of Cergy-Pontoise, created in the 1960s.
