City Park Stadium is a soccer specific-stadium located in New Rochelle, New York. The official name of the stadium is "Skidelsky Field at City Park Stadium". Its main tenant is the Westchester Flames FC soccer club who play in USL League Two, the fourth tier of American soccer. The team plays in the league's Northeast Division. The stadium's capacity is 1,845.

The station president is William O'Shaughnessy, and its current owner is Hudson-Westchester Radio, Inc. along with WVIP 93.5 FM. The station claimed more than five million live listeners as of 2005. Its studios and transmitter are located separately in New Rochelle. WVOX reaches many more listeners, worldwide, by streaming live, online. As of July 12, 2010, WVOX can also be heard on the HD2 subchannel of its FM sister station, WVIP.Programming is primarily locally produced information and talk, including programs presented by local citizens and interest groups. The first teacher and headmistress was Emily Scott Thornton, a Philadelphia native educated at University College Nottingham, now the University of Nottingham. The headmaster as of 2018 is Douglas E. Fleming, Jr.The school is now at its third campus, on Overlook Circle in the Beechmont neighborhood of New Rochelle. It inhabits three former homes, including the former Andrew Crawford estate, now the Main Building.

The Rochelle Park–Rochelle Heights Historic District is a historic residential district located in the city of New Rochelle in Westchester, New York. The district is historically and architecturally significant as an intact and distinctive example of residential park development at the turn of the Twentieth Century. It includes the historic Rochelle Park development, and the later Rochelle Heights subdivision. Within the district are 555 contributing properties, including 513 buildings, 38 structures, and 4 sites. Only 24 buildings and 1 site separately identified within its area are non-contributing. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) on July 6, 2005.The two neighborhoods, combined into one historic district in 1986, reflect the history of suburban design from 1885 when the phenomenon first took hold in Westchester, the first large suburban area in the world to develop, to the 1920s when the automobile and Progressive Era ideas of planning and architecture were coming into favor. The landscape and house architecture of the area remains remarkably intact and provide valuable information about the range of innovative planning principles that were applied there.

Salesian High School (SHS) is a private high school for boys in New Rochelle, New York, United States. It was established in 1920 and is part of the Salesians of Don Bosco. It is located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York. The school is located on the waterfront along Long Island Sound on the former estate of John Stephenson, the inventor of the horsedrawn trolley car. The Stephenson Mansion, a historic home, took seven years to build during the 1860s at a reported cost of $250,000. After Stephenson's death in 1893, the property passed through several hands before the Salesians of Don Bosco bought it in 1919. Today the mansion is the headquarters of the Salesian Order's Eastern Province, and is known as the Salesian Provincial Residence.

The Hynes Athletics Center is a 2,578-seat multi-purpose arena in New Rochelle, New York. It was built in 1974 and is home to the Iona College Gaels basketball and volleyball teams.In 2005, the building was renamed the Hynes Center, after being formerly known as the John A. Mulcahy Campus Events Center. Between the summer and fall of 2019, Hynes Athletics Center received a total of $6.5 million to expand and modernize the athletic center. The athletic center's renovations were completed in October 2019.

Mazzella Field is a 2,400 seat soccer-specific stadium on the campus of Iona College in New Rochelle, New York. It is home to the Iona College Gaels soccer, rugby, and lacrosse teams, as well as the Women's New York Magic of United Women's Soccer.First opened in 1989, it was originally used as a multi-purpose stadium that also hosted the school's football team until the program was disbanded in 2008.The field was the site of the 2008 Empire State Games men's lacrosse championships. In June 2017, Mazzella Field received a new FieldTurf surface striped for soccer and lacrosse.

Chatsworth Avenue School is a public elementary school located in Larchmont, New York. It was founded in 1902, as a two-room schoolhouse on Chatsworth Avenue. It has 3 floors and 4 extra classes that the kids partake in several times a week: Music, Library, Gym, and Art. With its two cafeterias and three playgrounds, children always enjoy their 1-hour lunch break. School hours are from 8:40 AM to 3:00 PM. There are approximately five classes per grade, and around 22 kids per class. The current principal is Katie Anderson, who was formerly vice principal. It is a K-5 school with students advancing to the Hommocks Middle School. It is one of four elementary schools of the Mamaroneck Union Free School District. In the mid 1970s, it was cited as an example of a school that was endeared by the community which was considering closing schools in the face of declining enrollment.In 1998, a 4th grade teacher from the school with 31 years of experience was interviewed by the New York Times and explained why the state mandated English Language Arts test was not suitable for the grade level.In 1999, the school was one of the top 25 schools in New York State for Percentage of 6th graders scoring at highest level in reading test.In 2000 the school was involved in a controversy when an 11-year-old student was suspended in a nationally reported incident over alleged sexual harassment of a girl. The child's parents claimed that it was an over reaction by the school. However, due to federal privacy regulations, the school could not respond publicly regarding details of the incident. In the face of a threatened lawsuit and media pressure, the school was forced to back down. Many other parents sided with the school, saying there had been many incidents with the child and that the cited incident was simply the straw that broke the camel's back. The overall perception was that the child's parents used lawyers and the media to manipulate the situation to their advantage.

The Iona Gaels are the athletics teams of Iona College, in New Rochelle, New York. They compete in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) and participate in 21 NCAA Division I programs.
