The Hynes Athletics Center is a 2,578-seat multi-purpose arena in New Rochelle, New York. It was built in 1974 and is home to the Iona College Gaels basketball and volleyball teams.In 2005, the building was renamed the Hynes Center, after being formerly known as the John A. Mulcahy Campus Events Center. Between the summer and fall of 2019, Hynes Athletics Center received a total of $6.5 million to expand and modernize the athletic center. The athletic center's renovations were completed in October 2019.

Beechmont (also known as Beechmont Knolls and Beechmont Woods) is an upscale residential community located in the northern end of New Rochelle in Westchester County, New York. Mazzella Field is a 2,400 seat soccer-specific stadium on the campus of Iona College in New Rochelle, New York. It is home to the Iona College Gaels soccer, rugby, and lacrosse teams, as well as the Women's New York Magic of United Women's Soccer.First opened in 1989, it was originally used as a multi-purpose stadium that also hosted the school's football team until the program was disbanded in 2008.The field was the site of the 2008 Empire State Games men's lacrosse championships. In June 2017, Mazzella Field received a new FieldTurf surface striped for soccer and lacrosse.

WVOX (1460 AM) is a radio station licensed to New Rochelle, New York. It is operated as a regional community station heard mainly in suburban Westchester County, the Bronx, Queens, the North Shore of Nassau County, Fairfield County, Connecticut, and northern New Jersey. The station president is William O'Shaughnessy, and its current owner is Hudson-Westchester Radio, Inc. along with WVIP 93.5 FM. The station claimed more than five million live listeners as of 2005. Its studios and transmitter are located separately in New Rochelle. WVOX reaches many more listeners, worldwide, by streaming live, online. As of July 12, 2010, WVOX can also be heard on the HD2 subchannel of its FM sister station, WVIP.Programming is primarily locally produced information and talk, including programs presented by local citizens and interest groups. The station is affiliated with Music of Your Life, which airs overnights, weekends, and in time slots not occupied by a local show.

The Iona Gaels are the athletics teams of Iona College, in New Rochelle, New York. They compete in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) and participate in 21 NCAA Division I programs.

Iona College is a private Catholic college in New Rochelle, New York. It was founded in 1940 by the Congregation of Christian Brothers and occupies a campus of 45 acres (0.18 km2). Iona College offers more than 60 undergraduate programs and 45 graduate programs in the School of Arts & Science and the LaPenta School of Business. The college also offers graduate courses in Manhattan and has 14 study abroad programs. As of academic year 2018–2019, the institution enrolled approximately 4,000 undergraduate and graduate students from diverse backgrounds representing 35 states and 47 countries of origin.

The Thornton-Donovan School (TD) was founded as the New Rochelle School and Kindergarten in New Rochelle, New York. It was founded by Judge Martin Jerome Keogh in 1901. City Park Stadium is a soccer specific-stadium located in New Rochelle, New York. The official name of the stadium is "Skidelsky Field at City Park Stadium". Its main tenant is the Westchester Flames FC soccer club who play in USL League Two, the fourth tier of American soccer. The team plays in the league's Northeast Division. The stadium's capacity is 1,845.

The Church of the Holy Family is a Roman Catholic parish located in New Rochelle, New York. Founded in 1913, the Church of the Holy Family has undergone expansion and re-construction of its physical church over the years. The church is ethnically and linguistically diverse, reflecting the demographics of its surrounding area, as it draws considerable numbers of Caribbean, Southeast Asian, African, and Italian parishioners. As of 2013, the church served around 1,200 families and educated 380 children in grades four through seven in religious education programs.

Henry Barnard Early Childhood Center is an early education school comprising grades Pre-K through 2nd grade, and part of the City School District of New Rochelle, located in the Beechmont section of New Rochelle in Westchester County, New York. Within the school are several district programs including a four-year pre-k through grade 2 magnet program and the district's Pre-School Speech Language Learning Center. Barnard's Early Childhood Center (EC2) has been recognized as a Sharing Success Program by the State of New York.EC2, a primary magnet program, offers a four-year sequence for youngsters from pre-kindergarten to second grade. It provides a project-based approach to learning adapted from the internationally recognized Reggio Emilia method of instruction with a strong emphasis on language development.

City Field is a baseball venue located in the public park of Williams Flowers Park in New Rochelle, New York, United States. It is home to the Iona Gaels baseball team of the NCAA Division I Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). The field's namesake is after William "Brud" Flowers, a New Rochelle resident and athletics coach.

The Japanese Weekend School of New York (JWSNY; ニューヨーク補習授業校 Nyūyōku Hoshū Jugyō Kō) is a Japanese supplementary school in the New York City metropolitan area. It has its offices in New Roc City in New Rochelle, New York. The Japanese Educational Institute of New York (JEI; ニューヨーク日本人教育審議会 Nyūyōku Nihonjin Kyōiku Shingi Kai) manages the school system, and the JWSNY is one of its two weekend school systems. The JEI also operates two Japanese day schools in the New York area.As of 2006 the weekend school had about 800 students, including Japanese citizens and Japanese Americans, at locations in Westchester County and Long Island. The class locations include Bayside High School in Bayside, Queens, and Port Chester Middle School in Port Chester, New York.
