Rochelle Park, New Rochelle, New York

Crystal Lake (also known Jefferd-Leisler Mill Pond and Ice Pond) was located in the village of New Rochelle in Westchester County, New York. It originally supplied early colonial mills with water power. It was fed by Stephenson Brook, which rises just north of Paine Lake and drains the large watershed adjacent to North Avenue from beyond Quaker Ridge Road. The lake appears to have existed as a natural sheet of water, near the end of the brook. It had two outlets into Long Island Sound, one at the present Stephenson Boulevard, and the other at the east side of Lispenard Avenue. These outlets had an abrupt fall in the few yards between the lake's south edge and the Long Island Sound shore, of approximately 20–25 ft (6.1–7.6 m). This was the greatest natural fall of any stream emptying into the Sound between New York City and Connecticut. From very early, the value of it for water power was recognized.

The Rochelle Park–Rochelle Heights Historic District is a historic residential district located in the city of New Rochelle in Westchester, New York. The district is historically and architecturally significant as an intact and distinctive example of residential park development at the turn of the Twentieth Century. It includes the historic Rochelle Park development, and the later Rochelle Heights subdivision. Within the district are 555 contributing properties, including 513 buildings, 38 structures, and 4 sites. Only 24 buildings and 1 site separately identified within its area are non-contributing. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) on July 6, 2005.The two neighborhoods, combined into one historic district in 1986, reflect the history of suburban design from 1885 when the phenomenon first took hold in Westchester, the first large suburban area in the world to develop, to the 1920s when the automobile and Progressive Era ideas of planning and architecture were coming into favor. The landscape and house architecture of the area remains remarkably intact and provide valuable information about the range of innovative planning principles that were applied there.

The Hynes Athletics Center is a 2,578-seat multi-purpose arena in New Rochelle, New York. It was built in 1974 and is home to the Iona College Gaels basketball and volleyball teams.In 2005, the building was renamed the Hynes Center, after being formerly known as the John A. Mulcahy Campus Events Center. Between the summer and fall of 2019, Hynes Athletics Center received a total of $6.5 million to expand and modernize the athletic center. The athletic center's renovations were completed in October 2019.

Trump Plaza New Rochelle is a 40-story luxury condo located in New Rochelle, NY. The Trump Organization no longer manages the property after their services were rescinded by the Condo Board in October 2021, and is now managed by AKAM Associates. Trump Plaza New Rochelle was built by Cappelli Enterprises, the same developer that built Trump Tower at City Center in nearby White Plains. Trump Plaza was the tallest building in Westchester County and the tallest building between New York City and Albany until the completion of the 44-story, twin-towered Ritz-Carlton hotel in White Plains.Trump Plaza is part of a massive downtown redevelopment project that began with the construction of New Roc City in 1999. The project encompasses Parcel 1A and the Lawton Street Redevelopment block known as Le Count Square. Located at 175 Huguenot Street, Trump Plaza is built on the 2-acre (8,100 m2), Parcel 1A site which the City of New Rochelle had sought to redevelop for more than 30 years. In 2008 Cappelli Enterprises will begin development of 'Le Count Square' opposite Trump Plaza, adding 1,000,000 square feet (93,000 m2) of hotel, office, retail and residential space to the area. With the development of Trump Plaza and LeCount Square, Cappelli's total investment in downtown New Rochelle will exceed $1 billion.The 353,600-square-foot (32,850 m2) Trump Plaza consists of 138,000 square feet (12,800 m2) of retail space on two levels at its base, topped with a luxury condominium tower. Trump Plaza rises more than 435 feet (133 m) over downtown New Rochelle. The retail portion of the project is linked to New Roc City by an enclosed pedestrian bridge.

The Japanese Weekend School of New York (JWSNY; ニューヨーク補習授業校 Nyūyōku Hoshū Jugyō Kō) is a Japanese supplementary school in the New York City metropolitan area. It has its offices in New Roc City in New Rochelle, New York. The Japanese Educational Institute of New York (JEI; ニューヨーク日本人教育審議会 Nyūyōku Nihonjin Kyōiku Shingi Kai) manages the school system, and the JWSNY is one of its two weekend school systems. The JEI also operates two Japanese day schools in the New York area.As of 2006 the weekend school had about 800 students, including Japanese citizens and Japanese Americans, at locations in Westchester County and Long Island. The class locations include Bayside High School in Bayside, Queens, and Port Chester Middle School in Port Chester, New York.

Mazzella Field is a 2,400 seat soccer-specific stadium on the campus of Iona College in New Rochelle, New York. It is home to the Iona College Gaels soccer, rugby, and lacrosse teams, as well as the Women's New York Magic of United Women's Soccer.First opened in 1989, it was originally used as a multi-purpose stadium that also hosted the school's football team until the program was disbanded in 2008.The field was the site of the 2008 Empire State Games men's lacrosse championships. In June 2017, Mazzella Field received a new FieldTurf surface striped for soccer and lacrosse.

The station is currently owned by Educational Media Foundation and its transmitter is located in New Rochelle, New York.

The Iona Gaels are the athletics teams of Iona College, in New Rochelle, New York. They compete in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) and participate in 21 NCAA Division I programs.

271 North Avenue (also known as the Schiff Building, Pershing Square, the Kaufman or K Building) is a 13-story art-deco office tower located in the downtown section of New Rochelle in Westchester County, New York.

New Rochelle station is a Metro-North Railroad and Amtrak train station located in New Rochelle, New York. The station serves Metro-North's New Haven Line and Amtrak's Northeast Regional; Bee-Line Bus System buses serve a bus stop just outside the station. As of August 2006, weekday commuter ridership was 4,020, and there are 1,381 parking spots. It is the busiest New Haven Line station in Westchester County. On October 14, 2009, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The NRHP listing is limited to the historic station building and just the land underneath its roofline, as the pedestrian bridge elevators, track and other associated structure is all much newer and lack historical merit. The building was built in 1887 for the New York, New Haven, and Hartford Railroad. The architect of the building is unknown; it was built by George O. Hawes, a local builder. The building was remodeled in 1931.

The facility currently serves the 10801, 10803 and 10805 ZIP Codes, covering portions of New Rochelle and neighboring Pelham and Pelham Manor. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989 as part of a Multiple Property Submission. It is one of 94 post offices in New York State that received artistic embellishment, either mural or sculpture, during the Depression through the New Deal art program.

Iona College is a private Catholic college in New Rochelle, New York. It was founded in 1940 by the Congregation of Christian Brothers and occupies a campus of 45 acres (0.18 km2). Iona College offers more than 60 undergraduate programs and 45 graduate programs in the School of Arts & Science and the LaPenta School of Business. The college also offers graduate courses in Manhattan and has 14 study abroad programs. As of academic year 2018–2019, the institution enrolled approximately 4,000 undergraduate and graduate students from diverse backgrounds representing 35 states and 47 countries of origin.
