Silver Lake (Wilmington, Massachusetts)

Silver Lake is an unincorporated village in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, in the towns of Wilmington and Tewksbury. It is centered around its namesake lake in Wilmington, Silver Lake.

The West Schoolhouse is a historic school building in Wilmington, Massachusetts. It is the best-preserved of Wilmington's remaining one-room schoolhouses. This single-story wood-frame building was probably (based on stylistic analysis) built in the 1860s or 1870s, although its resemblance in form to the c. 1840s Old Centre Schoolhouse suggests a possible earlier construction date and subsequent remodeling. It has simple Greek Revival styling with rope molding on the corner boards, and transom windows over the pair of entry doors.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

Salem Street station was a short-lived commuter rail station in Wilmington, Massachusetts in use from 1959 to 1967. It was located at the Salem Street crossing. It was established by the Boston and Maine Railroad (B&M) as the sole stop on the Wildcat Branch, in the wake of a restructuring brought on by service cuts. In 1965, the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority started funding MBTA Commuter Rail service on the B&M routes, but closed Salem Street in 1967.

The town common, which anchors the southern end of the district, was laid out in the 1890s.The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

North Wilmington station is an MBTA Commuter Rail station in North Wilmington, Massachusetts. It serves the Haverhill Line, and is located off Middlesex Avenue (Route 62). It has some of the most limited station faculties on the MBTA system – a single short non-accessible platform serving the line's single track at the location, with a small parking lot and shelter for passengers. North Wilmington served by most Boston–Haverhill trains except for a small number that use the Wildcat Branch. It is a flag stop except during weekday peak hours.

Tew Mac Airport (FAA LID: B09) was an airport in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. It was closed in 1997. The airport was located off Route 38 in Tewksbury, MA near the border with Wilmington. The airport was opened in 1951. It was closed in 1997 and replaced with a golf course (now known as the Tewksbury Country Club) and condos.Some locals referred to it as "Big Mac Airport," due to its proximity to a McDonald's restaurant.

North Wilmington is an unincorporated village and populated place in Wilmington, Massachusetts. North Wilmington consists of much of the northern and eastern half of the town. The center of North Wilmington contains the village's MBTA Commuter Rail station, North Wilmington station, alongside a Massachusetts Registrar of Motor Vehicles location and several other attractions along Route 62.

It has also been known as 'Calville Butter', 'Felch', 'Late Baldwin', 'Pecker', 'Red Baldwin's Pippin', 'Steele's Red Winter', and 'Woodpecker'.The Baldwin was one of four apples honored by the United States Postal Service in a 2013 set of four 33¢ stamps commemorating historic strains, joined by Northern Spy, Golden Delicious, and Granny Smith.
