Broadmoor Hospital

Owlsmoor is a suburb of Sandhurst in Berkshire, England, and part of the civil parish of Sandhurst. The settlement lies near to the A3095 road, and is located approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) north-east of Sandhurst town centre.

Crowthorne is a village and civil parish in the Bracknell Forest district of south-eastern Berkshire, England. It had a population of 7,806 at the 2021 census. Sandhurst to Owlsmoor Bogs and Heaths is an 85.8-hectare (212-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) on the northern outskirts of Sandhurst in Berkshire. Part of the SSSI is Wildmoor Heath nature reserve, which is managed by the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust. and the SSSI is part of Thames Basin Heaths Special Protection Area.

Wildmoor Heath is a 91-hectare (220-acre) nature reserve south of Crowthorne in Berkshire. It is managed by the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust. The reserve is part of two Sites of Special Scientific Interest: Wildmoor Heath itself is part of Sandhurst to Owlsmoor Bogs and Heaths and a separate area called Broadmoor Bottom is part of Broadmoor to Bagshot Woods and Heaths.This sloping site has wet and dry heath and woodland. There are also areas of bog which are grazed by Dexter cattle to keep down the growth of coarse purple moor-grass; twenty species of damselfly and dragonfly have been recorded in the bogs and plants include bog asphodel, butterwort, round-leaved sundew and white beaked-sedge.There is no doubt that this will help to protect many species found on the lowland heath. This beautiful conservation area attracts people from different places in the United Kingdom.

Edgbarrow School is a secondary Academy School in Crowthorne, Berkshire, England. The school is the main state secondary school in the area, and includes Edgbarrow Sixth Form College. It previously held the title of a Business and Enterprise College as a specialist school. The school has approximately 1410 pupils, most of whom come from Crowthorne schools, such as Wildmoor Heath School and Oaklands School, Hatch Ride school and Crowthorne C of E school . The school teaches 11- to 18-year-olds, and has some of the best results in Bracknell Forest at GCSE of any non-selective state schools.

Wooden Hill is a private estate within the council ward of Great Hollands, Bracknell, in Berkshire, England. The settlement lies west of the A3095 road and is approximately 2 miles (3.2 km) south-west of Bracknell town centre. The hill holds Wooden Hill Primary School in one of its 7 roads, and also has a portion of Great Hollands Recreation Ground visible nearer to the top of the hill. All roads in Wooden Hill begin with 'S'

Home Farm is a suburb of Bracknell, in Berkshire, England. The settlement lies north of the A3095 road and is approximately 2 miles (3.2 km) south-west of Bracknell town centre. It was developed on the site of a small farm on the edge of Great Hollands, near to the Downshire golf course and King's Academy Easthampstead Park. The estate consists of 330 dwellings, with a number of two, three and four bedroomed terraced houses, together with several blocks of flats. Home Farm was built in the mid-1970s by a private developer, but the project stopped when the developer ran out of money. The site was taken over by Bracknell Council, and the houses used for social housing. Following the 'Right to buy' legislation, about 50% of the homes are now in private ownership. It differs from the rest of Great Hollands in that traffic segregation has not been included in the plan. By road, the housing estate is accessible via Ringmead (the Great Hollands ring road).

Caesar's Camp is an Iron Age hill fort around 2,400 years old. It is located just in Crowthorne civil parish to the south of Bracknell in the English county of Berkshire. It falls within the Windsor Forest and is well wooded, although parts of the fort have now been cleared of some trees. The area is managed by the Forestry Commission but owned by Crown Estate, and is open and accessible to the public. The hill fort covers an area of about 17.2 acres (7 hectares) and is surrounded by a mile-long ditch, making it one of the largest in southern England.

The Pinewood Hospital was a hospital in Pinewood, near Crowthorne, England, for the treatment of people suffering from tuberculosis. It was located in a pine wood as pine trees were thought to be beneficial in the treatment of the disease. It opened as the London Open Air Sanatorium in 1901 before becoming the Pinewood Sanatorium. It treated casualties of the First and Second World Wars and after the second, began to treat general thoracic patients as tuberculosis became less prevalent. It closed in 1966.

Pinewood (formerly Pine Wood) is a rural area of Wokingham Without, near Crowthorne, in the English county of Berkshire, covered by the campus of the Johnson & Johnson Institute, the Pinewood Centre community club and society complex and a small industrial estate. The Pinewood Centre is run by Wokingham Without Parish Council.
