St Aloysius' College is an independent Catholic primary and secondary day school for boys, located in Kirribilli, a suburb on the Lower North Shore of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Founded in 1879 by Joseph Dalton SJ at St Kilda House, Woolloomooloo, St Aloysius' is the oldest independent Catholic boys day school in New South Wales. The College is conducted in the Jesuit tradition by the Society of Jesus as part of a worldwide network of schools and universities, which Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the Order, began in Messina, Sicily, in 1548. The College has an academically selective enrolment policy and as of 2019 catered to approximately 1,251 students from Year 3 to Year 12 (7 to 18 years).St Aloysius' is affiliated with the Association of Heads of Independent Schools of Australia (AHISA), the Junior School Heads Association of Australia (JSHAA), and is the oldest of the six schools which make up the Combined Associated Schools (CAS).

Admiralty House is the Sydney official residence of the governor-general of Australia. It is located in the suburb of Kirribilli, on the northern foreshore of Sydney Harbour (adjacent to Kirribilli House, which is the Sydney official residence of the Australian Prime Minister). This large Victorian Regency and Italianate sandstone manor, completed in stages based on designs by James Barnet and Walter Liberty Vernon, occupies the tip of Kirribilli Point. Once known as "Wotonga", it has commanding views across Sydney Harbour to the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House. Its current name originates in the fact that it served as the residence for the Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Navy's Australia Squadron from 1885 to 1913. The original building on the site was completed, as a private dwelling, in mid-to-late 1843, by John George Nathaniel Gibbes, the then Collector of Customs for New South Wales and a member of the New South Wales Legislative Council. A portrait of Gibbes, painted in 1808, hangs in the house. On 22 June 2004 Admiralty House was placed on the Commonwealth Heritage List.

The North Sydney Olympic Pool is a swimming and exercise complex located adjacent to Sydney Harbour at Milsons Point in North Sydney between the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Luna Park.Designed by architects Rudder & Grout in the Inter-War Free Classical style with art deco-style decorations, the Olympic-sized outdoor pool was built on part of the Dorman Long workshops site following the completion of the Harbour Bridge. The pool opened 4 April 1936 and hosted the swimming and diving events for the 1938 Empire Games. Heating was added in 2000 and a 25 metres (82 ft) indoor pool was added in 2001.In all, 86 world records have been set at the pool by such swimming greats as, for example, Jon Konrads and Ilsa Konrads, Lorraine Crapp, Frank O'Neill, Judy Joy Davies, John Devitt, Shane Gould and Michelle Ford.In 1960, at the Australian National Swimming Championships and Olympic Trials, the most world records were set in the one pool at the one meet ever. The North Sydney Olympic Pool was temporarily closed on 28 February 2021; construction of the replacement pool and associated buildings is estimated to cost $64M, and expected to reopen in late 2022.

Loreto Kirribilli is an independent Roman Catholic comprehensive single-sex primary and secondary day school for girls, located in Kirribilli, a Lower North Shore suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Established at Milsons Point in 1901, Loreto has a selective enrolment policy and currently caters for approximately 1,050 girls from Kindergarten to Year 12.The school is affiliated with the Association of Heads of Independent Schools of Australia (AHISA), the Junior School Heads Association of Australia (JSHAA), the Alliance of Girls' Schools Australasia (AGSA), and is a member of the Association of Heads of Independent Girls' Schools (AHIGS).Loreto Kirribilli is one of many schools around the world established by the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary, or Sisters of Loreto, founded some 400 years ago by Mary Ward. Its Sydney sister school is Loreto Normanhurst, and there are five other Loreto schools across Australia, in Melbourne, Ballarat, Victoria, Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth, as well as other international schools such as St Mary's Shaftesbury and Saint Mary's Ascot in the UK.

Milsons Point is a suburb on the lower North Shore of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. The suburb is located 3 kilometres north of the Sydney central business district in the local government area of North Sydney Council. Milsons Point is also the geographical feature that juts into Sydney Harbour from the northern side, directly opposite Sydney Cove, the spot where the first European settlement was established in 1788. Milsons Point was named after James Milson (1783–1872), one of the earliest settlers.

The Bridge Church (Kirribilli) is the Kirribilli location of The Bridge Church, meeting at an Anglican church at 7–9 Broughton Street, Kirribilli, on the lower north shore of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The Bridge Church (Kirribilli) meets in St John the Baptist Church and is part of 'The Bridge Church', which encompasses 3 locations, being Kirribilli, Neutral Bay and Macquarie Park. As at January 2022, the Bridge Church congregation consists of around 1,250 people, (approximately 1,000 adults and 250 children) from a wide variety of backgrounds, married, single and young families.

BridgeClimb Sydney is an Australian tourist attraction. BridgeClimb guides guests on a climb of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Since its launch on 1 October 1998, BridgeClimb has welcomed over 4 million people onto the Sydney Harbour Bridge arches. The company guides guests on with "entertaining and educational" commentary from "climb leaders" as well as views of Sydney and the surrounds.Four different types of climbs are offered, as of July 2021. The BridgeClimb, the original climb since 1998, takes guests to the top of the bridge along the upper arch in a round-trip that takes over three hours, including preparation time. BridgeClimb Insider guides guests to the interior of the steel bridge and then to the top in just over 2.5 hours. BridgeClimb also offers the "Ultimate Climb", which sees climbers traverse the entire bridge from South to North, and back again. In 2021 BridgeClimb launched 'Burrawa', with a focus on commentary covering the Indigenous history of Sydney Harbour with an Indigenous Storyteller as their guide.The different climbs are available at dawn, day, twilight and night and also offers special climbs for some of Sydney's events, like the Vivid Climb and the Anzac Day Dawn Climb.There have been over 4,000 proposals at the summit of the bridge and couples also have the option to get married on the bridge, 134 m (440 ft) above Sydney Harbour. The experience has also attracted many famous actors, musicians and members of royalty including Matt Damon, Kylie Minogue, Zac Efron, Robert De Niro, Prince Harry, Oprah Winfrey and Ben Stiller.Anyone over the age of eight years and in good health can climb. There is no maximum age, with the oldest climber being 100 years old. To book a climb, visitors can visit the website, and the price is from 198 Australian dollars.

Kirribilli House is the secondary official residence of the Prime Minister of Australia. Located in the Sydney harbourside suburb of Kirribilli, New South Wales, the house is at the far eastern end of Kirribilli Avenue. It is one of two official Prime Ministerial residences, the primary official residence being The Lodge in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory. The house, gardens and grounds are listed on the Commonwealth Heritage List.Although Kirribilli was never intended to be the Prime Minister's official primary place of residence, John Howard, Tony Abbott and Scott Morrison have used the house as such.

The Sydney Harbour Bridge is a heritage-listed steel through arch bridge in Sydney, spanning Sydney Harbour from the central business district (CBD) to the North Shore. The view of the bridge, the harbour, and the nearby Sydney Opera House is widely regarded as an iconic image of Sydney, and of Australia itself. Nicknamed "The Coathanger" because of its arch-based design, the bridge carries rail, vehicular, bicycle and pedestrian traffic.Under the direction of John Bradfield of the New South Wales Department of Public Works, the bridge was designed and built by British firm Dorman Long of Middlesbrough, and opened in 1932. The bridge's general design, which Bradfield tasked the NSW Department of Public Works with producing, was a rough copy of the Hell Gate Bridge in New York City. This general design document, however, did not form any part of the request for tender, which remained sufficiently broad as to allow cantilever (Bradfield's original preference) and even suspension bridge proposals. The design chosen from the tender responses was original work created by Dorman Long, who leveraged some of the design from their own Tyne Bridge which, though superficially similar, does not share the graceful flares at the ends of each arch which make the harbour bridge so distinctive. It is the eighth longest spanning-arch bridge in the world and the tallest steel arch bridge, measuring 134 m (440 ft) from top to water level. It was also the world's widest long-span bridge, at 48.8 m (160 ft) wide, until construction of the new Port Mann Bridge in Vancouver was completed in 2012.The Sydney Harbour Bridge was added to the Australian National Heritage List on 19 March 2007 and to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 25 June 1999.

The Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron is a yacht club located in North Sydney, Australia in the suburb of Kirribilli. The squadron was founded in 1862. It has occupied its grounds in East Kirribilli, near Kirribilli House, since 1902.

Milsons Point railway station is a heritage-listed railway station located on the North Shore line, serving the Sydney suburb of Milsons Point in New South Wales, Australia. It is served by Sydney Trains T1 North Shore line services. The station is located above ground, accessible via stairs and a lift, in Milsons Point, in the North Sydney Council local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed and built by the Sydney Harbour Bridge Branch of the NSW Department of Public Works. The property was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.
