The Cuevas Blancas Windmill or White Caves Mill (Spanish: Molino de Cuevas Blancas) is located in Santa María del Mar, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, on the island of Tenerife, Spain. It was used to manufacture Gofio, a type of flour from the Canary islands.The mill is conical, with a diameter of 4 m (13 ft), and a height of around 10 m (33 ft). It has three floors: a warehouse (and occasional miller's bedroom) on the ground floor, a waiting room on the first floor, and the mill machinery on the second floor. The floors are connected with wooden stairs with a width around 1 m (3.3 ft). It has a pointed roof containing a wooden turning mechanism: one side has the blades, while the other has the rudder, with a connecting beam and gearing. It is similar to the Barranco Grande Windmill.It was restored in 1974, but has since been abandoned, and is falling apart in the middle of a building warehouse. It was listed as Bien de Interés Cultural on 18 December 2007.

Pabellón Insular Santiago Martín is an indoor arena that is located in San Cristóbal de La Laguna, Tenerife, Spain. It is primarily used for basketball games, and is the home arena of the Spanish professional basketball club, Iberostar Tenerife of the Liga ACB.

Located in the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Affiliated with the Servicio Canario de la Salud. The hospital has specialist facilities which not only serve Tenerife but the surrounding Canary Islands. The hospital adopted the name of the patron saint of the Canary Islands, the Virgin of Candelaria. It is the largest hospital complex in the Canary Islands.It is near the Hospital Universitario de Canarias, a referral hospital in some specialties in Spain.It has a useful floor area of 82,035 m2. The hospital complex is well connected to the motorways of the North and South of Tenerife. With a total of 3,391 professionals, it is geared to medical care in the south of Tenerife, and referral hospital for the islands of La Gomera and El Hierro. Furthermore, due to its structural and technological characteristics and depending on the needs that it is demanding, it is credited as reference for all health areas of the Canary Islands, the service Liver Transplant and service of Allergology for the Province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

Affiliated with the education and research network of the Universidad de La Laguna it is under the directive of the Servicio Canario de Salud (Canary Health Service). The hospital has specialist facilities which not only serve Tenerife but the surrounding Canary Islands. It was founded in 1971 under the name of General and Clinical Hospital of Tenerife on a floor area of 71,000 m2 (760,000 sq ft) near the Autopista del Norte de Tenerife surface. With a total of 2,534 professionals it is geared to health care in the north of Tenerife, and referral hospital for the island of La Palma. It is near the Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora de Candelaria, a referral hospital in some specialties in Spain. The Hospital Universitario de Canarias was also the first hospital on the Canary Islands to hold the category of University Hospital, hence its name.

San Joaquin Castle (Spanish: Castillo de San Joaquín) is an inland fortification in La Cuesta, on the road that connects Santa Cruz de Tenerife and San Cristóbal de La Laguna, in Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain.In 1586, Governor D. Juan Núñez de la Fuente ordered the construction of several platforms at the site, designed by the Italian Leonardo Torriani, which were subsequently abandoned. The current building's construction started in 1780. It was constructed to defend the interior of the island, should the coastal defenses of the island fall.The castle is square, with circular towers at each corner. It has a central courtyard, with bays on two sides. Two of the towers were used to store gunpowder.While the outside of the structure has remained constant, the inside has been frequently modified to suit the various uses of the building, varying from a military prison to an ammunitions dump to a dovecote. It was home to the Cuerpo de Colombofilia Militar Español.It was sold in 1996 to a private individual, and is currently abandoned.It was recorded by the Spanish Ministry of National Education on 22 April 1949, and it was declared of cultural interest on 15 February 2000.

Francisco García-Escámez e Iniesta, 1st Marquess of Somosierra (Cádiz, 1 March 1893 – Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 12 June 1951) was a Spanish military officer who participated in the coup d'état against the government of the Second Republic, and then fought for the Nationalist faction in the Civil War.

The Museum of Science and the Cosmos (Spanish: El Museo de las Ciencias y el Cosmos), is an astronomy, technology, and science museum located in the city of San Cristóbal de La Laguna on Tenerife island, in the Spanish Canary Islands of Macaronesia. It belongs to the Cabildo de Tenerife and the Tenerife Organization of Museums and Centers. The museum opened in 1993 under the initiative of the Cabildo and the Instituto de Astrofisica de Canarias (IAC). It is considered the primary astronomy and science museum of the Canary Islands and the Macaronesian archipelago.

Deutsche Schule Santa Cruz de Tenerife (DST Spanish: Colegio Alemán de Santa Cruz de Tenerife) is a German international school in the Tabaita Alta section of El Rosario, on the island of Tenerife in Spain, near Santa Cruz de Tenerife. It serves years 1–12, serving kindergarten through Oberstufe II.

The Refinería de Santa Cruz de Tenerife is an oil refinery in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. The refinery, located just outside Santa Cruz de Tenerife, was the first refinery built in Spain. When it opened in November 1930 it had a refining capacity of 250,000 tons. It was built in Tenerife due to the Oil Monopoly Law of 1927 (Spanish: Ley del Monopolio de Petróleos de 1927), which created the state-owned Campsa company and prohibited privately-owned oil industries in mainland Spain.It supplied the Canary Islands with fuel (and hence electrical energy), as well as refueling ships at the port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and providing petroleum products to Africa and the Americas. It also provided petroleum products to mainland Spain until the Gibraltar-San Roque Refinery came online in the 1960s.It was renovated in the 1980s, including the installation of a digital control room. By 2008 it was refining 4,500,000 tonnes per year, occupying 573,000 square metres (6,170,000 sq ft). In 2001 it was the first Canarian industry to follow the Eco-Management and Audit Scheme.The refinery was shut down in 2015. In 2018 it was announced that the refinery would be dismantled, with 2/3 of the land used for public purposes and 1/3 used commercially.

The Monument to José de Anchieta in La Laguna, Tenerife, is a monumental statue of Joseph of Anchieta by Bruno Giorgi. Inaugurated in 1960, it is 5 metres tall, and is currently located in the gardens of La Laguna since March 2022, having been moved several times in the past.

The Parque de La Granja is a park in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. It was built between 1969 and 1976. It is a wide area designated for sports, games, rides to admire the flora and more. It is one of the largest urban parks in the Canary Islands. The Parque de La Granja has a very broad extension of facilities for outdoor sports. It has wide roads of asphalt and gravel, surrounded by garden plots. Many Santa Cruz residents associate sports with this park, which can be accessed from Avenida de Madrid or Avenida Benito Pérez Armas. The Parque de la Granja, built in 1969, is somewhat larger than the García Sanabria Park and inside there are groups of royal palms and reed beds, large areas of grass, a children's playground and several sculptures, one of them erected by Belén Morales in homage to Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente.
