Jackson Township is one of the 17 townships of Stark County, Ohio, United States. The 2010 census found 40,152 people in the township, 37,484 of whom lived in the unincorporated portions of the township.

Jackson High School is a public high school located in Jackson Township, Ohio, United States, near Massillon. Part of the Jackson Local School District, it serves grades 9 through 12. The school's colors are purple and gold and the athletic teams are known as the Polar Bears.

Brunnerdale Minor Seminary was a Catholic minor seminary for the Missionaries of the Precious Blood from 1931 to 1981. The school was devoted to preparing young men for the priesthood. Located in Canton, Ohio, the building and grounds were sold in 1989 and are now the Glenmoor Country Club. Between 1931 and 1948, students attended Brunnerdale for as many as three years and then completed high school at Saint Joseph's College, Collegeville, Indiana. Brunnerdale became a four year high school seminary in 1949, graduating its first class that same year. In later years, Brunnerdale added a Brother Candidate Program for those interested in becoming a religious brother in their congregation. Brunnerdale was also the minor seminary of the Trinity Missions from 1973 to 1977. Later referred to as Brunnerdale High School Seminary, the final class to graduate was in 1981. Records indicate that 2985 students attended Brunnerdale Seminary. Of this total of 2985, 1416 students entered Brunnerdale from 1931 to 1956. The additional 1569 students entered Brunnerdale from 1957 to 1981.

Jackson Bog or Jackson Bog State Nature Preserve is a 58 acres (23 ha) State Nature Preserve in the U.S. state of Ohio. It is owned by the Jackson Township Local Board of Education and the Ohio Division of Natural Areas and Preserves. The bog, which is a fen, or alkaline bog, lies at the foot of a dry, sandy kame. The belts of kames in this area of Stark County provide an extensive aquifer. These highly permeable gravel deposits readily absorb surface water and then hold it in staggering quantities as groundwater. Whenever this groundwater reaches the surface, artesian springs and seeps result. Springs emerge from beneath the elongated kame that borders the northern edge of the preserve. It is located in northern Stark County, in Jackson Township, near the city of Massillon, Ohio.

Stark State College (Stark State) is a public community college in Stark County, Ohio. The college offers 230 majors, options, one-year certificates, and career enhancement certificates. Approximately 4,000 noncredit students are enrolled in continuing education and contract training activities. As of fall 2019, the enrollment was 11,833.

Kent State University at Stark (Kent State University Stark or Kent State Stark) is a satellite campus of Kent State University in Jackson Township, Ohio. It is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.

Hills and Dales is a village in Stark County, Ohio, United States. It is an affluent suburban enclave near Canton. Hills and Dales is part of the Canton–Massillon Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 221 at the 2010 census. The name Hills and Dales was coined by property developers for the terrain of the town site.

The Hall of Fame Bridge is a through arch bridge over Interstate 77 (I-77) in the American city of Canton, Ohio. The bridge was dedicated on June 19, 2006, 6 years after the initial concept was imagined. The landmark bridge was built to complement the Pro Football Hall of Fame located just South of the bridge. The project was unveiled in May 2004 by Hall of Fame president, John Bankert and Stark County Engineer Mike Rehfus. Funding for the $2.2 million bridge came from the Stark County Engineers office and the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The hall of fame paid approximately one third of the cost to cover the aesthetic portion of the bridge, including the hall of fame logo and football players.

WILB, the Living Bread Radio Network, is an AM radio station in Canton, Ohio, United States, that offers Catholic programming to the Canton, Akron and Cleveland areas. The station broadcasts daytime only with a power of 15,000 watts on 1060 kHz, making it the largest Catholic radio signal in the state of Ohio. Much of the station's programming is supplied by EWTN Radio. The station also produces many local programs and features. Due WILB sharing the same frequency as clear channel station KYW in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, it broadcasts during daytime hours only. However, listeners in the Canton vicinity can turn to the stations translator, 94.5 FM - to listen to programming during these interrupted hours. The station also broadcasts online via their respective mobile app. Similar programming is heard on sister station, 'WILB-FM'. Which is licensed to Boardman, Ohio, serving the Youngstown market. 'WILB-FM' began operations in March of 2012, as a 'new sign-on'.
