Dixie Plaza is a shopping plaza located in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, at 3100 Dixie Rd (intersection of Dundas Street West and Dixie Rd). Dixie Plaza has 15 stores and one anchor store which is LA Fitness (formerly Premier Fitness). The plaza has three restaurants, a grocery store, a thrift store, and one department store. Dixie Plaza's manager, developer, and owner is RioCan.

Dixie GO Station is a GO Transit railway station on the Milton line in the Dixie neighbourhood of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. It is located at 2445 Dixie Road, just south of Dundas Street East. Like most GO stations, Dixie offers parking facilities for commuters, and allows for wheelchair-accessible train services through a raised mini-platform giving access to the 5th carriage from the locomotive; it is one of the only three stations on the Milton Line (excluding Union Station) that offer the mini-platform. The station building houses a ticket sales agent and a waiting room. Although ridership is growing on the Milton line including at Dixie, GO cannot increase its services here at present because the line is shared with busy Canadian Pacific Railway freight trains. Frequent weekday GO buses serving the station help alleviate the demand. In order to increase capacity on the Milton line, GO plan to extend Dixie's platform to accommodate twelve-carriage trains once more powerful locomotives capable of pulling such trains have entered service in 2008.

Little Etobicoke Creek is a small river in Mississauga, Regional Municipality of Peel in the Greater Toronto Area of Ontario, Canada. It is in the Great Lakes Basin and is a right tributary of Etobicoke Creek, which flows to Lake Ontario.

It was dissolved into Mississauga—Malton, Mississauga—Streetsville, Mississauga East—Cooksville, Mississauga Centre, Brampton South and Brampton Centre.

Dixie Outlet Mall, also referred to as Dixie Value Mall, is a shopping mall in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, located on the south side of the Queen Elizabeth Way highway. It is Canada's largest enclosed outlet mall. It has several brand name outlets including Nike, Adidas, Boathouse, Calvin Klein, Guess, Puma, Tommy Hilfiger, Winners, Famous Footwear. Dixie Outlet Mall is owned by Slate Asset Management, and managed by Cushman & Wakefield, both Canadian firms.

Dixie is a neighbourhood in the city of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. The community lies in the southeastern part of the city and is one of the older neighbourhoods in the city. The name of the neighbourhood dates back to the Village of Dixie at the corner of Cawthra Road and Dundas Street West in the south part of the city. In 1865, the village of Sydenham was renamed in honour of Beaumont Wilson Bowen Dixie (1819-1898), a Welsh settler who paid for the establishment of the Union Chapel, a multi-denominal Protestant church in the village originally built in 1816 (and rebuilt in 1837). The church is also home to St. John's Dixie Union Cemetery, an active cemetery since 1816. The Chapel was built from donations from the Cody family of Buffalo Bill fame and was where his son was baptized in 1847. Today, much of the area is commercial or industrial use with a small area of residential homes east of Dixie Road.

Glenforest Secondary School (GFSS) is a public secondary school located in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Established in 1969, Glenforest Secondary School is a member of the Peel District School Board. The school mascot is the mythological creature the gryphon, lovingly nicknamed Griffy. The Glenforest Gryphons are the official sports team of the school. Glenforest Gryphons excel in a variety of sports, including badminton, table tennis, swimming, ball hockey, and cricket. Many Gryphons compete in provincial competitions in their respective sport.

Gordon Graydon Memorial Secondary School, "Gordon Graydon", "GGMSS", or simply "Graydon" for short, was a high school that served Grades 9 to 12 in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. The school opened in 1957, and celebrated its 50th anniversary on May 26, 2007. It was named after Gordon Graydon, a Canadian politician who died in 1953. The school's slogan was "Palma Per Ardua": "Success through Hard Work". Gordon Graydon was home to the International Business and Technology Program, the Graphic and Design Management Program, and the Specialist High Skills Major Program. The school was home of the only Graphic Design and Management Program in Ontario. A report by school board staff proposed that the school be closed in June 2019.On January 24, 2017, the Peel District School Boards Pupil Accommodation Review (PAR), voted in favour of the school closing in June 2018. In an effort to accommodate the students, Gordon Graydon's vocational and autism spectrum disorder (ASD) programs were relocated to Glenforest Secondary School for 2018-2019 school year. In addition, Graydon's graphic design and international business programs (GDM/IBT) were moved to T.L. Kennedy Secondary School for the 2018-2019 school year. Construction at both T.L. Kennedy and Glenforest secondary schools were needed to accommodate the incoming students. In December 2020 the Mississauga Continuing and Adult Education Centre moved into the former Gordon Graydon Memorial Secondary School building.

Markland Wood is a residential neighbourhood in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located west of the central core, in the former suburb of Etobicoke and is the westernmost residential community in Toronto along Bloor Street West. It's located on the border of Mississauga and bounded by Etobicoke Creek to the west, Elmcrest Creek to the east, Burnhamthorpe to the North, and surrounded by the Markland Wood Golf Club; approximately 2/3 is north of Bloor Street, and 1/3 south. Markland Wood is part of the Etobicoke Centre riding for federal and provincial governments and Ward 2 for the municipal council.

Sherway Gardens (corporately known as CF Sherway Gardens) is a large retail shopping mall in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The mall is located 17 kilometres (11 mi) west of Downtown Toronto in the former city of Etobicoke, near the interchange of Highway 427 with the Queen Elizabeth Way and Gardiner Expressway. Opened in 1971, the mall originally covered 850,000 square feet (79,000 m2) in an S-shaped configuration and contained 127 stores. It was expanded in 1975, 1987, 1989, 2015, and 2017 to its current size of 1,182,000 square feet (109,800 m2) and 215 stores. It is the eighth largest mall in the Greater Toronto Area, and is the 18th largest mall in Canada. As the mall has grown, it has changed its mix of stores from a general mix of stores to add more fashion-conscious and luxury brand stores.
