Mississauga—Brampton South was a provincial electoral district in Ontario, Canada, that has been represented in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from the 2007 provincial election until 2018. It was dissolved into Mississauga—Malton, Mississauga—Streetsville, Mississauga East—Cooksville, Mississauga Centre, Brampton South and Brampton Centre.

Thomas L. Kennedy Secondary School (aka, T. L. Kennedy Secondary School) is a school located in Mississauga, Ontario, that was erected in honour of former Premier of Ontario, Thomas Laird Kennedy. Kennedy had been a longtime resident of Streetsville (now part of Mississauga), where he was Master of the River Park Masonic Lodge. Thomas L. Kennedy Secondary School first opened its doors to approximately four hundred and fifty students in September 1953.

Camilla Care Community is a 236-resident long-term care home in Mississauga, Ontario, owned by Partners Community Health. It is located next to Trillium Health Partners' Mississauga Hospital. The facility was taken over, temporarily, by the Province of Ontario in May 2020, as a result of extensive deaths from COVID-19.

Dixie GO Station is a GO Transit railway station on the Milton line in the Dixie neighbourhood of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. It is located at 2445 Dixie Road, just south of Dundas Street East. Like most GO stations, Dixie offers parking facilities for commuters, and allows for wheelchair-accessible train services through a raised mini-platform giving access to the 5th carriage from the locomotive; it is one of the only three stations on the Milton Line (excluding Union Station) that offer the mini-platform. The station building houses a ticket sales agent and a waiting room. Although ridership is growing on the Milton line including at Dixie, GO cannot increase its services here at present because the line is shared with busy Canadian Pacific Railway freight trains. Frequent weekday GO buses serving the station help alleviate the demand. In order to increase capacity on the Milton line, GO plan to extend Dixie's platform to accommodate twelve-carriage trains once more powerful locomotives capable of pulling such trains have entered service in 2008.

Mississauga Hospital is a regional and teaching hospital in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. It provides general medical services to residents of central and southern Mississauga as well as regional stroke, cardiac, and neurological care. Founded in 1958 as South Peel Hospital, the hospital was renamed to Mississauga Hospital in 1980. After a 1997 government mandate to restructure, the hospital merged with the nearby Queensway General Hospital in Toronto in April 1998 to form a new hospital corporation named Trillium Health Centre. From 1998 to 2011 the hospital was known as Trillium Health Centre Mississauga. The name was reverted to Mississauga Hospital following Trillium Health Centre's merger with Credit Valley Hospital on December 1, 2011 to form Trillium Health Partners.In 2022, Trillium received a $105 million donation from the Peter Gilgan Foundation, for this hospital and Queensway Health Centre. After the rebuild of the hospital, it will be known as the Peter Gilgan Mississauga Hospital.

Cooksville GO Station is a GO Transit train and bus station the Milton line in the community of Cooksville in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. It is located at 3210 Hurontario Street, near Dundas and Hurontario Streets. The future Hurontario LRT will connect to this station.

Trillium Health Partners is a hospital system which serves Mississauga and western Toronto in the Canadian province of Ontario. It comprises the Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga Hospital, and Queensway Health Centre. Trillium Health Partners is Canada's largest community-based, academically affiliated hospital, and has the largest emergency department in the country. Trillium Health Partners is affiliated with the University of Toronto and, in partnership with the University of Toronto Mississauga, jointly created the Mississauga Academy of Medicine.
