The Penang Floating Mosque (Malay: Masjid Terapung Pulau Pinang), also known as Tanjung Bungah Floating Mosque (Malay: Masjid Terapung Tanjung Bungah) is a floating mosque located in Tanjung Bungah near George Town, Penang, Malaysia.

Tenby Schools Penang is an international school in Penang, Malaysia, and part of the Tenby International School family. It offers both British curriculum (IGCSE) and Malaysian curriculum (UPSR, SPM) in the same campus for children aged 3–18 years old.It was started by the Augustin family as Sekolah Sri Inai in the early 1980s as a Malaysian private school. Dalat International School is an international day and boarding school in Penang, Malaysia. Founded as a boarding school for children of missionaries in Southeast Asia, it has grown into an international school with a diverse student population. As of the beginning of the 2017-2018 school year, there are 650 students representing 28 different countries. Tikus Island (Rat Island) is an islet off the northern coast of Penang Island in the State of Penang, Malaysia. Located nearly 770 m (0.48 mi) off Tanjung Bungah, a suburb of the city of George Town, this uninhabited outcrop is now home to a solar-powered lighthouse. This active lighthouse marks the northern entrance to the Penang Strait and hence, the Port of Penang.Also situated on the islet is a grave belonging to a local Muslim saint. The grave is still visited by local Penangites of various faiths, who occasionally come to seek blessings irrespective of their beliefs.

The Mount Miriam Cancer Hospital is a non-profit cancer-dedicated hospital near George Town in Penang, Malaysia. Located at the Tanjung Bungah suburb, the 40-bed hospital was founded in 1976 and offers specialist treatments for cancer patients, including tomotherapy, radiosurgery and chemotherapy.

Mount Erskine is a residential neighbourhood within the city of George Town in Penang, Malaysia. This hilly neighbourhood, 4 km (2.5 mi) northwest of the city centre, is situated between the Tanjung Tokong and Pulau Tikus suburbs to the north and to the south respectively. Notable for its large Chinese cemeteries established by the Cantonese, Teochew and Hokkien communities on Penang Island, the neighbourhood witnesses a considerable increase in activity during the annual Qingming Festival.

The Penang Botanic Gardens, (Malay: Taman Kebun Bunga;Tamil :பினாங்கு தாவரவியல் பூங்கா,Piṉāṅku Tāvaraviyal pūṅkā) also known as the "Waterfall Gardens" because of the cascading waterfall nearby, is a botanic garden situated on Jalan Air Terjun (Waterfall Road) in George Town, Penang, Malaysia. The original gardens were established in 1884 from an old quarry site, under the supervision of Charles Curtis, who was the first superintendent, making it one of the oldest botanic gardens built by the British in a colonial settlement. Penang Botanic Gardens is part of Penang Hill Biosphere Reserve, recognized by UNESCO as the third Biosphere Reserve in Malaysia listed in the World Network of Biosphere Reserve (WNBR).

Malaysia Baptist Theological Seminary (MBTS) is a denominational seminary affiliated with the Malaysia Baptist Convention. It is located in Batu Ferringhi, Penang, Malaysia. Established in 1954, MBTS is accredited by the Asia Theological Association (ATA).

City Residence is a mixed-use complex within George Town in the Malaysian state of Penang. Located at the suburb of Tanjong Tokong, the development consists of twin residential towers and a three-storey shopping mall named City Junction that forms the podium. Built by local developer Ivory Properties Group, each tower is designed as a low-density residence comprising only 101 units spread across 39 storeys, integrated with recreational and communal amenities.

Island 88, formerly known as Island Plaza, is a shopping mall within George Town in the Malaysian state of Penang. Located at the suburb of Tanjong Tokong, the 500,000 sq ft (46,000 m2) retail complex was opened in 1995, one of the first shopping malls in the city. After facing a decline due to the emergence of newer shopping malls throughout George Town, it was rebranded as Island 88 in 2023 by Hong Kong real estate tycoon Paul Law.

The Penang Hill cable car is a gondola lift under construction in George Town, the capital city of the Malaysian state of Penang. The 2.73 km (1.70 mi) line will connect the Penang Botanic Gardens to the peak of Penang Hill and is intended to complement the existing Penang Hill Railway. The cable car line is projected to serve a capacity of 1,000 passengers per hour on each direction. Construction commenced in 2024 and is projected to be completed by 2026.
