The Ocala Historic Commercial District is a U.S. Historic District (designated as such on June 3, 1999) located in Ocala, Florida. It encompasses approximately 90 acres (360,000 m2), and is bounded by 1st Street Northwest, 1st Avenue Southeast, 2nd Street Southwest, and 1st Avenue Southwest. It contains 20 historic buildings.

AdventHealth Ocala is an acute care non-profit hospital in Ocala, Florida. The healthcare facility is owned by the Marion County Hospital District, and has been leased to AdventHealth since 2018. The hospital district is largely funded by the US$213 million paid to the district by Community Health Systems in 2014 for the right to operate this facility. CHS sold their lease to Adventist Health System in 2018.

WITG-LP (104.7 FM, "Classic Hits 104.7") is a radio station broadcasting a classic hits music format. Licensed to Ocala, Florida, United States, the station is currently owned by WITG Radio Station, Inc.

The Marion Hotel is a historic hotel in Ocala, Florida, United States. It is located at 108 North Magnolia Avenue. On October 16, 1980, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

The Ocala Historic District is a U.S. Historic District (designated as such on January 12, 1984) located in Ocala, Florida. It encompasses 172 acres (0.70 km2), and is bounded by Broadway, Southeast 8th Street, Silver Springs Place, Southeast 3rd, 13th, and Watula Avenues. It contains 220 historic buildings. Development for the original residential properties had started sometime in 1880 and continued to 1930, with the most construction invoked by the Florida boom in 1910. The oldest part of the neighborhood is on the King Street, which then sprawled eastbound. Architectural style reflecting the boom includes bungalows, contrasted to the Queen Anne Revival style on the older streets including the King.

The Tuscawilla Park Historic District is a historic district in Ocala, Florida. It is bounded by Northeast 4th Street, Sanchez Avenue, 2nd Street, Tuscawilla Avenue, and Watula Street. It encompasses approximately 20 acres, and contains 37 historic buildings. On March 30, 1988, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

Ocala ( oh-KAL-ə) is a city in and the county seat of Marion County, Florida, United States. Located in North Florida, the city's population was 63,591 as of the 2020 census, making it the 54th-most populated city in Florida. Ocala is the principal city of the Ocala metropolitan area, which had a population of 375,908 in 2020. Home to over 400 thoroughbred farms and training centers, Ocala is considered the "Horse Capital of the World". Notable attractions include the Ocala National Forest, Silver Springs State Park, Rainbow Springs State Park, the College of Central Florida, and the World Equestrian Center.

The former United Hebrews of Ocala synagogue is a historic Carpenter Gothic building located at 729 N.E. 2nd Street, in the Tuscawilla Park Historic District of Ocala, Florida. Built in 1888, it was one of the first synagogues in Florida. It is listed in the Marion County section of A Guide to Florida's Historic Architecture, published in 1989 by the University of Florida Press in Gainesville. In 1963, the congregation adopted the name Temple B'nai Darom. The building is a contributing property to the historic district. It is among the oldest synagogue buildings still standing in the United States.

The Ocala Union Station (also known as Union Station Plaza) is a bus station and former train station in Ocala, Florida, United States. It is located at 531 Northeast First Avenue, and was built in 1917 by both the Atlantic Coast Line and Seaboard Air Line Railroad. Prior to this, ACL and SAL had separate depots in Ocala. The former ACL station was originally built by the Florida Southern Railroad, while the former SAL station was built by the Florida Transit and Peninsular Railroad. On December 22, 1997, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

Howard Academy, at 306 NW 7th Avenue in Ocala, Florida, was a school for African-American children opened in 1866 or 1867: 40  by the Freedmen's Bureau. Up until that time there had been no public and almost no private education for African Americans in Florida; education for slaves was prohibited by law (see Anti-literacy laws in the United States) and free blacks were made to feel unwelcome and encouraged to leave the state.

The West Ocala Historic District is a historic district in Ocala, Florida. It is roughly bounded by Northwest 4th Street, West Silver Springs Boulevard, and Northwest 12th Avenue, encompasses approximately 350 acres (1.4 km2), and contains 104 historic buildings. On June 27, 2002, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
