Sudley House is a historic house in Aigburth, Liverpool, England. Built in 1824 and much modified in the 1880s, it is now a museum and art gallery which contains the collection of George Holt, a shipping-line owner and former resident, in its original setting. It includes work by Thomas Gainsborough, Joshua Reynolds, Edwin Landseer, John Everett Millais and J. M. W. Turner. The house was bequeathed to the city of Liverpool by Holt's daughter, Emma Georgina Holt, in 1944 and is managed by National Museums Liverpool.

Stanlawe Grange in Aigburth, Liverpool, England, is the remains of a 13th-century monastic grange. Little remains of the original cruck frame structure. It has been constantly changed and now is a small sandstone structure.

The Church of St Matthew and St James stands on the top of a hill in Rose Lane, Mossley Hill, Liverpool, England. It is an active Anglican parish church in the deanery of Liverpool South Childwall, the archdeaconry of Liverpool and the diocese of Liverpool. Its benefice is united with those of All Hallows, Allerton, and St Barnabas, Mossley Hill. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building. The authors of the Buildings of England series describe it as "one of the best Victorian churches in Liverpool".

Carnatic Hall was an 18th-century mansion that was located in Mossley Hill, Liverpool, England.The house was built in 1779 for slave trader Peter Baker, who served as Mayor of Liverpool in 1795. Originally on the site of Mossley Hall (home of the Ogden family) it was renamed Carnatic Hall by Baker after the French East Indiaman Carnatic, which the privateer Mentor, which Baker owned, had captured in October 1778. Carnatic was said to be the richest prize ever taken and brought safe into port by a Liverpool adventurer, being of the value of £135,000. In 1891 the house burned down and the then owner, Walter Holland, had a hall built in the same style.In 1947 by The University of Liverpool purchased Carnatic Hall as a home for the University of Liverpool Museum. In 1964 the mansion was demolished and replaced with student accommodation, the Carnatic Halls of Residence. This consisted of six residences: McNair Hall, Salisbury Hall, Rankin Hall, Morton House, Lady Mountford Hall,and Dale Hall. In 2018, it was announced that the Carnatic Student Village would be closing.

The Northern Party was a regionalist political party in Northern England, founded by leader Michael Dawson and former Blackpool MP Harold Elletson in March 2015 to contest five marginal seats in Lancashire at the 2015 general election. The party was one of three regionalist parties contesting the general election in the north of England. Members included former activists from the Conservative, Labour, Liberal Democrat and Green parties.

Aigburth Cricket Ground in Liverpool, England, is the home of Liverpool Cricket Club. The club was founded in 1807 and is the oldest amateur sports club in Merseyside. The ground hosted its maiden first-class cricket match in 1881, a fixture between Lancashire and Cambridge University.Designed by Thomas Harnett Harrison and built in 1880, the pavilion is the oldest remaining at a first-class cricket ground. The first Women's Cricket World Cup was held in England in 1973. During the tournament Aigburth hosted its only Women's One Day International, a match between International XI Women and Trinidad and Tobago Women. The West Indies cricket team toured England in 1984 and played a tour match against Lancashire at Aigburth. A 7,633-strong crowd watched the match. Lancashire lost by 56 runs, and Gordon Greenidge scored 186 while opening the batting. The innings was the second of three one-day centuries scored at the ground and remains the highest score in the format at Aigburth, and Greenidge's highest score.While Old Trafford Cricket Ground was undergoing a renovation in 2011, Lancashire played more cricket at Aigburth, playing five matches at the ground. The move away from Old Trafford coincided with Lancashire winning the County Championship for the first time since 1950, and Lancashire won four out of their six matches at Aigburth. The ground has hosted 198 first-class matches to 2014, eighteen List A matches to 2017 and, as confirmed by the Wisden and Playfair annuals, two Twenty20 matches to 2017.

Aigburth railway station serves the Aigburth district of Liverpool, England. It is situated on the Southport–Hunts Cross route of the Northern Line of the Merseyrail suburban system.

Mossley Hill is a Liverpool City Council ward in the Liverpool Riverside Parliamentary constituency. It was formed for the 2004 municipal elections from the former Grassendale and Aigburth wards.
