Ma Chau

The Soko Islands (Chinese: 索罟群島) are a group of islands in Hong Kong. The group consists of Tai A Chau, Siu A Chau and several smaller nearby islands, in the southwesternmost waters of the territory, to the southwest of Lantau Island. An older name for this island group was "Sok Kwu Kwan To" (Fishing Net Islands).The islands are mainly composed of granite and a band of rhyodacite. Waters of the island group are brackish due to being in the Pearl River estuary.

Tai A Chau is an uninhabited island of Hong Kong, part of the Soko Islands group, located south of Lantau Island. It is referred to as South Soko Island in some media articles.

Siu A Chau (Chinese: 小鴉洲) is an uninhabited island of Hong Kong, part of the Soko Islands group, located south of Lantau Island.

Tau Lo Chau (Chinese: 頭顱洲) is an uninhabited island of Hong Kong, part of the Soko Islands group, located south of Lantau Island.

Shek Pik (Chinese: 石壁) is an area located along the southwestern coast of Lantau Island, Hong Kong. When the Shek Pik Reservoir was built, villages at Shek Pik were demolished and the villagers were relocated to other parts of Lantau Island and to Tsuen Wan. Below the dam of the reservoir is Shek Pik Prison.

Shui Hau (Chinese: 水口; lit. 'mouth of a waterway') is a small village on Lantau Island in Hong Kong.

Shek Pik Reservoir (Chinese: 石壁水塘) is a reservoir in Shek Pik on Lantau Island in Hong Kong. Built between 1957 and 1963, it has a storage capacity of 24 million cubic metres and is the third largest reservoir in Hong Kong after High Island Reservoir and Plover Cove Reservoir.

Fan Lau Fort is a former military fortification located on Lantau Island in Hong Kong. Named after the eponymous peninsula it is situated on, it was built in 1729 during the reign of the Yongzheng Emperor, a hundred and twelve years before the British took possession of Hong Kong. Abandoned in 1898, it became a declared monument of Hong Kong in 1981.

Fan Lau (Chinese: 分流) is a peninsula and area in the southwest tip of Lantau Island in Hong Kong. It is also the southwest end the territory of Hong Kong. The very end of the tip is Fan Lau Kok (分流角). The peninsula separates water into Fan Lau Tung Wan (分流東灣; 'East Bay') in the east, and Fan Lau Sai Wan (分流西灣; 'West Bay') and Fan Lau Miu Wan (分流廟灣; 'Temple Bay') in the west.

Keung Shan (Chinese: 羗山, literally "Ginger Mountain") is a peak in Hong Kong, on southwestern Lantau Island, with a height of 459 metres (1,506 ft) above sea level.

Tong Fuk (Chinese: 塘福, formerly 塘㙏) is a village and an area on Lantau Island in Hong Kong. It is a popular place for holiday recreation. Tong Fuk Beach, to the south of the village, is a popular local attraction alongside the other beaches of South Lantau.

Tong Fuk Beach is a gazetted beach located on South Lantau Road in Tong Fuk, Lantau Island, Hong Kong. The beach is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Hong Kong Government. The beach is 150 metres long and is rated as good to fair by the Environmental Protection Department for its water quality in the past twenty years. It is a popular holiday resort in Lantau Island.
