Paschal House was a historic home located at Raleigh, Wake County, North Carolina, United States. It was built in 1950, and was a one-story, irregularly massed, Modern Movement / Wrightian-style dwelling. It had a picturesque composition of stone walls, multiple low-sloped gables with deep overhangs, and expanses of glazed wall. The house was demolished in 2013.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

It was built in 1952–1954, and is a one-story, rectangular, post and beam-framed house cantilevered over a concrete block base, Miesian inspired dwelling. It was designed by George Matsumoto and built by Frank Walser. It has a paved and landscaped forecourt and full-width, glazed rear wall fronted by a cantilevered, screened porch.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

Paul and Ellen Welles House, also known as the Robert and Anne Dahle House, is a historic home located at Raleigh, Wake County, North Carolina. It was built in 1956, and is a two-story, split level Modern Movement-style dwelling. It has a brick-veneered lower level and a slightly cantilevered upper level sheathed with board-and-batten siding. It features an asymmetrical side-gable roof with wide overhanging eaves.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.

The Henry L. Kamphoefner House was the first Modernist house built in Raleigh, North Carolina. During the mid-20th century, faculty members from the School of Design located at North Carolina State College (now known as North Carolina State University) designed and built several modernist houses in Raleigh for themselves, other faculty, and a few clients. Henry L. Kamphoefner, originally the head of the University of Oklahoma's architecture program, became the first dean of the college's School of Design. Kamphoefner was awarded the North Carolina Award for Fine Arts in 1978 for his work and encouragement of other Modernists to build and design homes in the state. In 1977 he was awarded the Topaz Medallion for Lifelong Achievement in Architecture by the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture. The Kamphoefner House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996 and is designated a Raleigh Historic Landmark.George Matsumoto, architect of the Ritcher House, and Kamphoefner designed the Kamphoefner House in 1948. The home was constructed in 1950. It is an example of Frank Lloyd Wright's Usonian mode of design, characterized by small scale, affordable construction, open plan interiors, integration of interior and exterior spaces, flat roof and large glazed areas such as windows and doors. The house is oriented around a large, central brick chimney. The rear of the house features large insulated windows, the first of its kind in Raleigh. These windows face a large open terrace and offer a view of the nearby golf course. The front of the house contains no windows, allowing privacy to the occupants.

Lake Lynn is a man-made lake in Raleigh, North Carolina. The lake was created for flood control purposes in 1976 by damming Hare Snipe Creek, a tributary of Crabtree Creek. The lake has an area of 55.7 acres (22.5 ha) and lies entirely within the city of Raleigh's 75-acre (30 ha) Lake Lynn Park. The park includes a 2.8 mi (4.5 km) paved trail around the lake (part of the Capital Area Greenway system), as well as a community center, playground, and tennis courts. Lake Lynn Dam (also named Crabtree Watershed Dam #22b), is a 42 foot (13 m) high, 620 foot (190 m) long earth dam.
