Slinfold is a village and civil parish in the Horsham District of West Sussex, England.

Slinfold Stream and Quarry is a 2.3-hectare (5.7-acre) geological Site of Special Scientific Interest west of Horsham in West Sussex. It is a Geological Conservation Review site.This site exposes the Horsham Stone member of the Lower Weald Clay, dating to the Early Cretaceous, around 130 million years ago. It preserves the fossils of horsetails in their upright position, suggesting that they grew in a fresh water reedswamp with a maximum depth of 2 metres (2.2 yards).A public footpath goes through a small stretch of the stream bank but the rest of the site is private land with no public access.

Five Oaks is a large hamlet in the Horsham District of West Sussex, England. It lies about 1.7 miles (2.8 km) north of Billingshurst on the Roman road of Stane Street (now the A29) at the junction with the Western end of the A264.

Itchingfield is a small village and civil parish in the Horsham district of West Sussex, England. It lies on the Barns Green to Broadbridge Heath road 2.7 miles (4.3 km) southwest of Horsham. The main settlement in the parish is Barns Green. The village's origins may lie with the Romans. This is suggested by the discovery of tiles in the parish.

The Haven is a rural hamlet in West Sussex, south east England located about 7 miles to the west of Horsham.The Haven is primarily an agricultural area with 75 dwellings scattered across it. One of its best known landmarks is the pub, The Blue Ship. The pub itself has a main bar that dates back to the fifteenth century although the exterior of the pub is Victorian. Hall and Woodhouse beer is served from two hatches straight from the barrel.

Barns Green is a village in the Horsham district of West Sussex, England. It lies on the Billingshurst to Itchingfield road 2+1⁄2 miles (4.0 km) north of Billingshurst. The village falls within the parish of Itchingfield and is surrounded by smaller communities of Brooks Green, Dragons Green and Bashurst Hill. Barns Green is a rural community, with a village shop and post office, pub, primary school, sports club, campsite, cafe, fishery, village hall, riding school and village green. It has a number of locally based community clubs including toddler group, youth club, brownies, amateur dramatics, book club, and several sports clubs.

Rudgwick is a village and civil parish in the Horsham District of West Sussex, England. The village is 6 miles (10 km) west from Horsham on the north side of the A281 road. The parish's northern boundary forms part of the county boundary between Surrey and West Sussex. The parish covers 6,394 acres (2,588 ha). The 2001 Census recorded 2,791 people living in 1,013 households, of whom 1,425 were economically active.. The 2011 Census recorded a population, including Tisman's Common of 2,722.

Holy Trinity Church is the Anglican parish church of Rudgwick, a village in the Horsham district of West Sussex, England. The oldest part of the church is the font, which is made from Horsham or Sussex Marble and dates from the 12th century. The tower of the present church was built in 13th century though much of the material probably came from the older church that was pulled down to make way for the current building. Parts of the south wall may have been retained from the original church and so may be as old as the tower. The majority of the rest of the church dates from the 14th century with some from the 15th. The vestry is Victorian. The church is a Grade I Listed building.

Rudgwick railway station was on the Cranleigh Line. It served the village of Rudgwick in West Sussex until June, 1965.

It is the fourth largest Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) in England and Wales. It has an attractive landscape with a mosaic of small farms and woodlands, historic parks, sunken lanes and ridge-top villages. The area consists of 99 parishes and a total population of approximately 120,000 persons. The main communities are Royal Tunbridge Wells, Crowborough, Hastings and Haywards Heath.

Field Place is a Grade I listed house in Warnham, West Sussex, England. It is the birthplace of the poet Percy Bysshe Shelley, born there in 1792. The house dates back to the thirteenth and fourteenth-centuries. It has been restored to the state it was in when Shelley lived there.Field Place was built in about 1353 by Richard Felde, and this part is now the east wing. It was later owned by the Mychel family who had added the south wing by 1525. In 1729, it was bought by Edward Shelley. On his death, the house was inherited by his nephew Sir Timothy Shelley (1753–1844), and the poet Percy Bysshe Shelley (1792–1822) was his eldest son. The farm buildings and much of the land is now owned separately. Percy Bysshe Shelley spent his youth at Field Place, but never lived there as an adult. His son Sir Percy Shelley, 3rd Baronet (1819–1889) inherited the property.G N Charrington, who had been a tenant, acquired the property in 1929, and restored the gardens by 1949. In 1982, Kenneth Pritchard Jones bought the house and restored it.

The Downs Link is a 36.7 miles (59.1 km) path and bridleway linking the North Downs Way at St. Martha's Hill in Surrey with the South Downs Way near Steyning in West Sussex and on via the Coastal Link to Shoreham-by-Sea. This is part of the National Cycle Network as National Route 223.
