For the church building designed by Frank Lloyd Wright see Unitarian Meeting House (Madison, Wisconsin) Unitarian Meeting House is a Grade I listed place of worship in Ipswich, Suffolk. It is a member of the General Assembly of Unitarian and Free Christian Churches, the umbrella organisation for British Unitarians. The present building was opened by John Fairfax in 1700. Much of the original interior remains intact.

The Buttermarket Centre is a four-level, £65 million shopping centre located in the centre of Ipswich, Suffolk, England. The centre was opened on 1 October 1992, comprising 270,000 square feet (25,000 m2) over four levels. There is also a 430-space underground car park covering two levels under the shopping centre. There is also access from the car park to the shopping centre via lifts and stairs. The anchor stores (upon opening) were Owen Owen and C&A, however TK Maxx is now the anchor store comprising 120,000 square feet (11,000 m2) of floor space. The shopping has 32 retail units including Boots, Starbucks and Julian Graves.

St Peter's Church (also known as St Peter's by the Waterfront) is one of the twelve medieval churches in the ancient borough of Ipswich, England. An Augustinian priory dedicated to St Peter and Paul occupied a six-acre site to the north and east of the church. As the secular canons regularly used the chancel for religious purposes, leaving the nave for use of parishioners, the church was also known as St Peter and Paul's. The church is located between College Street and Star Lane, with St Peters Street leading north into Ipswich town centre.

The area takes in the borough of Ipswich, parts of the East Suffolk and part of the Mid Suffolk. The area was recorded at having a population of 178,835.According to the 2011 census, the gender makeup of the population was 88,482 male and 90,353 female. The ethnic makeup of the whole urban area was 91% white and 4% Asian. Other ethnic minorities were around 5%. The religious make up of the whole area was:

St Francis Tower, originally named Franciscan Tower, is the 3rd tallest building in Ipswich, England. It is 172 feet (52 m) high, with eight flats on each of its 16 floors. It is on Franciscan Way in central Ipswich.

The Willis Building (originally the Willis Faber & Dumas regional headquarters) in Ipswich, Suffolk, England, is one of the earliest buildings designed by Norman Foster and Wendy Cheesman after establishing Foster Associates. Constructed between 1970 and 1975 for the insurance firm now known as Willis Towers Watson, it is widely considered a landmark in the development of the 'high tech' architectural style. The building houses some 1,300 office staff in open-plan offices spread over three floors.

The Corn Exchange in Ipswich, Suffolk is a municipal building belonging to Ipswich Borough Council. It was opened on 26 July 1882 by Frederick Fish, the Mayor of Ipswich.

The Ancient House, also known as Sparrowe's House, is a Grade I listed building dating from the 15th century located in the Buttermarket area of Ipswich, Suffolk, England. In 1980 the building was acquired by Ipswich Borough Council. The building sports detailed pargeting, and also elaborate wood carvings around the front of the house. Four panels of pargeting show a Tudor impression of the world. The continents Africa, America, Asia and Europe are shown—notably lacking Australia, which had not been discovered at the time. Africa is represented by a naked man holding a spear, Asia by a horse and a mosque-like building, Europe by a woman with a horse and a church-like building, and America by a man with a dog at his feet. The building features the Ipswich window.The front of the building as it can be seen today (in a restored state), was not an original feature—it was added by Robert Sparrowe between 1660 and 1670. It bears the Royal Arms of King Charles II, and the words "Honi soit qui mal y pense". This is Old French for "Shame upon him who thinks evil of it", and is also the motto of the Order of the Garter.

Stoke Mill was an historic watermill located in Ipswich, Suffolk. It was located on the north bank of the River Orwell next to Stoke Bridge. It was on Bridge Street where there is now a skate park.

The Cornhill in Ipswich is a historic town square in the centre of Ipswich, Suffolk. The square has been a gathering place for many centuries in the town, the earliest recorded event was the execution of the Ipswich Martyrs in the 16th century. In the present-day, the Cornhill hosts various events such as Christmas markets, live music shows, and outdoor screenings of notable broadcasts, such as the proms. The square is surrounded by grand Victorian buildings built as the town's wealth was booming from sheep wool and dock trade. The prominent Ipswich Town Hall building is located on the Cornhill.

St Lawrence Church is a Grade II* listed church in Ipswich, Suffolk, that is now used as a community centre. The 15th-century church has the oldest ring of five church bells in the world.
