The Ocean Springs School District is a public school district based in Ocean Springs, Mississippi (USA). The Mississippi Department of Education ranked it as the #1 performing district in the state of Mississippi for the 2022-2023 school year. In addition to Ocean Springs, the district also serves the Gulf Park Estates community and a small section of Gautier.

Ocean Springs is a city in Jackson County, Mississippi, United States, approximately 2 miles (3.2 km) east of Biloxi and west of Gautier. It is part of the Pascagoula, Mississippi Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 17,225 at the 2000 U.S. Census. As of the 2010 U.S. Census, the city of Ocean Springs had a population of 17,442. The town has a reputation as an arts community. The town was voted as a top 10 Happiest Seaside Town by Coastal Living in 2015. Its historic and secluded down town area, with streets lined by live oak trees, is home to several art galleries and shops. It is also home to a number of ethnic restaurants relatively uncommon in surrounding communities. Ocean Springs was the home town of the late Walter Inglis Anderson, a nationally renowned painter and muralist who died in 1965 from lung cancer. The town plays host to several festivals, including its Peter Anderson Festival and The Herb Festival. Ocean Springs was severely damaged on August 29, 2005, by Hurricane Katrina, which destroyed many buildings along the shoreline, including the Ocean Springs Yacht Club, and the wooden replica of Fort Maurepas, and gutted or flooded other buildings. Katrina's 28 ft (8.5 m) storm surge also destroyed the Biloxi Bay Bridge, which connected Biloxi to Ocean Springs.

WXYK (105.9 MHz, "105.9 The Monkey") is a commercial FM radio station licensed to Pascagoula, Mississippi and serving the Biloxi - Gulfport - Pascagoula radio market. The station has a Top 40/CHR radio format and is owned by Telesouth Communications Inc. The studios and offices are on Three Rivers Road in Gulfport. WXYK carries The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show and American Top 40 with Ryan Seacrest, syndicated from Premiere Networks. WXYK has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 25,000 watts from its transmitter off Pine Hills Road in Ocean Springs.

St. Martin High School is a suburban public high school located in the unincorporated community of St. Martin, Mississippi, United States, with an Ocean Springs postal address. It is part of the Jackson County School District.

The Louis Sullivan Bungalow was a vacation home for noted architect Louis Sullivan on the Gulf Coast in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places for its association with Sullivan and Frank Lloyd Wright, who both claimed credit for its design. It was built in the early 1890s and restored in the 1980s, but was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

The Charnley-Norwood House is a summer (winter) cottage designed by architects Louis Sullivan and Frank Lloyd Wright in 1890 in Ocean Springs, Mississippi on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The home was built as a vacation residence for James Charnley, a wealthy Chicago lumber baron, and its style represents an important change in American residential architecture known as Prairie School.

Gulf Hills is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Jackson County, Mississippi, United States. It is part of the Pascagoula Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 8,526 at the 2020 census, up from 7,144 at the 2010 census.

The Walter Anderson Museum of Art (WAMA) is located in Ocean Springs, Mississippi on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. WAMA is dedicated to the work of Walter Inglis Anderson (1903–1965), whose depictions of coastal plants, animals, landscapes, and people have placed him among the most singular artists of the 20th century; and to his brothers, Peter Anderson (1901–1984), potter and founder of Shearwater Pottery; and James McConnell Anderson (1907–1998), painter and ceramist. The mission of the museum is to “empower lifelong curiosity and connection to the natural world through the art of Walter Anderson and kindred artists.” The Walter Anderson Museum of Art began as an idea by a group of people in Ocean Springs and Jackson, Mississippi to preserve the art and culture of Walter Inglis Anderson. The Friends of Walter Anderson was chartered in 1974, and through their efforts, funds and grant money were raised to build the museum on Washington Avenue in Ocean Springs on land leased from Jackson County. Mark A Tullos, Jr. was hired as the museum's first director in 1990. The museum was dedicated on May 4, 1991, at a cost estimated at $1.3 million. The conceptual architect of the project, Edward Pickard, former husband of Mary Anderson, the eldest child of Walter Anderson, designed the building to keep it in the style of the Shearwater compound. The museum connects Anderson's most public project – the 3,000 square-foot Ocean Springs Community Center murals, with his most private work – the Little Room murals, an immersive space discovered after his death in 1965 and installed at the museum.

Saint John's Episcopal Church is a historic church at the northwest corner of Rayburn and Porter Avenue in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. It was built in 1892. New York architect Manly N. Cutter is credited with its design. It was added to the National Register in 1987.

WOLM "Radio Maria" (for: Our Loving Mother) is a non-commercial FM broadcasting station at 88.1 mHz licensed to D'Iberville, Mississippi and serving the D'Iberville and Biloxi areas. Its founder "Friends of Radio Maria" (which in addition airs Italian language programming on the FM subcarrier of New York City station WKTU) was the group that acquired the construction permit and start-up of WOLM in addition to sister stations WHJM which is licensed in Anna, Ohio and WRMW 91.1 FM licensed in Peshtigo, Wisconsin. All these stations are now owned by (and licensed to) Radio Maria Inc. WOLM began as a construction permit issued by the FCC in May 2007. It launched on the air May 27, 2010 just three days before the construction permit deadline date. It is now licensed. 88.1 FM is also the frequency of Radio Maria-owned WHHN in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania serving the Altoona area. Upon its initial sign-on, WOLM initially was airing sample archived programming from Radio Maria until the network connection with originator KJMJ was established. This took place on Tuesday June 1, 2010 making WOLM a full-time repeater of originating station KJMJ 580 kHz in Alexandria, Louisiana. Also launched within the same time frame is WRMW 91.3 mHz in Peshtigo, Wisconsin serving the Sturgeon Bay - Door County region. Radio Maria USA also streams from its website for listeners outside the WOLM signal area in addition to iPhone, BlackBerry and Android mobile phone devices through an app which can be downloaded from the same website.
