Ipsach is a municipality in the Biel/Bienne administrative district in the canton of Bern in Switzerland.

Nidau District is one of the 26 administrative districts in the canton of Bern, Switzerland. Its capital, while having administrative power, was the municipality of Nidau. From 1 January 2010, the district lost its administrative power while being replaced by the Biel/Bienne (administrative district), whose administrative centre is Biel/Bienne. Since 2010, it remains therefore a fully recognised district under the law and the Constitution (Art.3 al.2) of the Canton of Berne. Although the district is officially German speaking, a small French-speaking minority lives in the area. The district has an area of 113 km2 and consisted of 25 municipalities:

Twann-Tüscherz or Douanne-Daucher in French is a municipality in the Biel/Bienne administrative district in the canton of Bern in Switzerland. On 1 January 2010 the municipalities of Tüscherz-Alfermée and Twann merged into the municipality of Twann-Tüscherz.

Biel/Bienne District is a constitutional district (Amtsbezirk) in the canton of Bern in Switzerland with its seat Biel/Bienne. It is located along both shores of the northeastern half of Lake Biel and is part of the Seeland administrative region, and its capital is Biel/Bienne. It contains 19 municipalities with an area of 97.63 km2 (37.70 sq mi) and a population (as of December 2008) of 90,536, over half of which lives in the district's capital. While it is the smallest district in surface area, it has the third largest population in the canton. The present Biel/Bienne Verwaltungskreis ("administrative district") was created on 1 January 2010, consisting of the entirety of one former Amtsbezirke ("district"), Biel, about half of another, Nidau and three municipalities of Büren.
