The Brigham Young University Museum of Paleontology was started in 1976 around the collection of James A. Jensen. For many years, it was known as the BYU Earth Science Museum, and most of the collection was in storage under the LaVell Edwards Stadium.In October 2009, the museum held a grand opening of its new facilities during BYU homecoming week. With the 5,000-square-foot (460 m2) addition, it now displays most of the collection. The change of name clarifies that the museum actually houses a large collection of dinosaur bones and other fossils.The museum is currently directed by Rodney Scheetz, who was one of Jensen's students at BYU. Its main purpose is to facilitate research, but it is open to the public.

The Stadium of Fire is a nearly annual event held in the Brigham Young University's LaVell Edwards Stadium on or very near the United States' Independence Day. It is one of the main events for the America's Freedom Festival. This patriotic extravaganza with a cast of thousands features the largest stadium fireworks show in the USA. It is also televised worldwide to US troops and their families on American Forces TV, as a gift from America's Freedom Festival. The Stadium of Fire was created by Merrill Osmond & Alan Osmond in 1980; it was one of the money-making events conceived by the Osmond family in the early 1980s to recuperate money from father George Osmond's bad business partnerships that had left the family in deep debt. It has and has become one of the largest Independence Day celebrations in the United States. With super star performers and also the Stadium of Fire Dancers. For the past 13 years it has been created and produced by Baruch Gayton Entertainment Group.

America's Freedom Festival at Provo (also America's Freedom Festival or Freedom Festival) is a private, non-profit, non-political foundation known for organizing more than 25 annual patriotic events in and around Provo, Utah. It is one of the largest and longest (usually May - July) patriotic celebrations in the nation. The organization's stated mission is to "celebrate, teach, honor, and strengthen the traditional American values of family, freedom, God, and country." America's Freedom Festival sponsors one of the nation's largest Fourth of July celebrations, Stadium of Fire, held each year at LaVell Edwards Stadium on the campus of Brigham Young University. Recent performers at Stadium of Fire include Journey (band), Cirque du Soleil, Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, and the Blue Man Group. The United States Department of Defense has chosen to broadcast parts of the festival to millions of servicemen and women serving abroad in the Armed Forces for the past several years.The festivities usually include a patriotic service, hot air balloon launches, a carnival, and a parade. Among the most popular events included is a Colonial Heritage fair, in which colonial skills, craftsmanship, and history are taught and celebrated.

The 1967 NCAA University Division Outdoor Track and Field Championships were contested June 15−17 at the 45th annual NCAA-sanctioned track meet to determine the individual and team national champions of men's collegiate University Division outdoor track and field events in the United States.This year's outdoor meet was hosted by Brigham Young University at Cougar Stadium in Provo, Utah. The approximate elevation of the track was 4,660 feet (1,420 m) above sea level. (The track was removed from the stadium in 1982.) The USC Trojans of the AAWU (Pacific-8 Conference) finished first in the team standings, capturing their twenty-fourth national title, followed by conference rivals Oregon and UCLA.

This year's meet was hosted by Brigham Young University at Cougar Stadium in Provo, Utah. The venue previously hosted the championships eight years earlier in 1967; the approximate elevation of the track was 4,660 feet (1,420 m) above sea level. (The track was removed from the stadium in 1982.) The UTEP Miners finished just ahead of UCLA in the team standings and captured their first team national title. The title marked the beginning of UTEP's reign as a track & field dynasty – in the following seven seasons, they finished either as champion or runner-up, including five consecutive titles (1978–82). This was the last edition of the NCAA championships with the races measured in yards; race distances were changed to meters for 1976.

LaVell Edwards Stadium is an outdoor athletic stadium in the western United States, on the campus of Brigham Young University (BYU) in Provo, Utah. Primarily used for college football, it is the home field of the BYU Cougars, a member of the Big 12 conference in the Football Bowl Subdivision. Opened as "Cougar Stadium" in 1964, its seating capacity is 63,470. The natural grass playing field is conventionally aligned north–south at an elevation of 4,649 feet (1,417 m) above sea level, with the press box along the west sideline.

Larry H. Miller Sports Complex is a stadium complex in Provo, Utah. The complex is named after businessman Larry H. Miller; the field is primarily used for baseball. The ballpark has a capacity of 2,204 people and was opened in 2001. Larry H. Miller Field was previously the home of Provo Angels. It currently hosts the BYU Cougars baseball team. In 2012, college baseball writer Eric Sorenson ranked the field as the second-best setting and second-most underrated venue in NCAA Division I baseball. A 20-foot by 50-foot video board was installed in 2022.Miller Park has been home to BYU baseball since it opened in 2001. It is described as a "unique baseball-softball back-to-back complex." BYU baseball plays on Larry H. Miller Field. The softball team plays on Gail Miller Field.Miller Park seats 2,204 fans in two tiers. 1,000 additional fans can be placed in temporary seating when necessary. There is a press box that hosts radio and television stations, other media facilities, concession stands, event facilities, training rooms, batting cages, offices, etc. The taut spire-accented tensile roof is made from Teflon.

The N. Eldon Tanner Building, also known as the TNRB, is a building that houses classrooms and administrative offices for the Marriott School of Business on the Brigham Young University (BYU) campus in Provo, Utah, United States.

The Marriott School of Business is the business school of Brigham Young University (BYU), a private university owned by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) and located in Provo, Utah. It was founded in 1891 and renamed in 1988 after J. Willard Marriott, founder of Marriott International, and his wife Alice following their $15 million endowment gift to the school. The school is housed in the N. Eldon Tanner Building and supports 137 full-time faculty and approximately 200 adjunct, part-time or visiting faculty, full-time staff and students who teach. It has approximately 2,100 undergraduate and 1,200 graduate students, and approximately 62 percent of its student body are bilingual. As of 2019, its alumni base numbers 55,000.

The Romney Institute of Public Service and Ethics (Romney Institute) at Brigham Young University is a department within the Marriott School of Management. The school offers a master's degree in public administration through both pre-service and executive programs.

The Brigham Young University (BYU) College of Fine Arts and Communications (CFAC) is one of the nine colleges at the university, a private institution operated by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) and located in Provo, Utah. Founded in 1925, the college has grown from a small college of the arts with minimal faculty and only 100 students to the second largest college on campus. With more than 3,400 students and 141 full-time faculty, the expansive college has spread across the university's campus and occupies 11 buildings (including the Music Building, West Campus Central Building, George H. Brimhall Building, Jesse Knight Building, Stephen L. Richards Building, B66, and the BYU Museum of Art).With four departments (Dance, Theatre and Media Arts, Art, Design) and two schools (Communications, Music), the CFAC offers 14 undergraduate degrees (with 38 emphases) and eight graduate degrees. Since 1971, BYU performing arts groups have performed more than 14,000 shows in all 50 states and more than 100 countries of the world. Worldwide audiences totaling more than 12 million people, have also included radio and TV broadcasts reaching billions.

The School of Accountancy (SOA) at Brigham Young University is a department within the Marriott School of Business. The school offers one bachelor's degree and one master's degree.
