The 1967 NCAA University Division Outdoor Track and Field Championships were contested June 15−17 at the 45th annual NCAA-sanctioned track meet to determine the individual and team national champions of men's collegiate University Division outdoor track and field events in the United States.This year's outdoor meet was hosted by Brigham Young University at Cougar Stadium in Provo, Utah. The approximate elevation of the track was 4,660 feet (1,420 m) above sea level. (The track was removed from the stadium in 1982.) The USC Trojans of the AAWU (Pacific-8 Conference) finished first in the team standings, capturing their twenty-fourth national title, followed by conference rivals Oregon and UCLA.

The 1975 NCAA Division I Men's Outdoor Track and Field Championships were contested June 3−7 at the 53rd annual NCAA-sanctioned track meet to determine the individual and team national champions of men's collegiate Division I outdoor track and field events in the United States. This year's meet was hosted by Brigham Young University at Cougar Stadium in Provo, Utah. The venue previously hosted the championships eight years earlier in 1967; the approximate elevation of the track was 4,660 feet (1,420 m) above sea level. (The track was removed from the stadium in 1982.) The UTEP Miners finished just ahead of UCLA in the team standings and captured their first team national title. The title marked the beginning of UTEP's reign as a track & field dynasty – in the following seven seasons, they finished either as champion or runner-up, including five consecutive titles (1978–82). This was the last edition of the NCAA championships with the races measured in yards; race distances were changed to meters for 1976.

The Stadium of Fire is a nearly annual event held in the Brigham Young University's LaVell Edwards Stadium on or very near the United States' Independence Day. It is one of the main events for the America's Freedom Festival. This patriotic extravaganza with a cast of thousands features the largest stadium fireworks show in the USA. It is also televised worldwide to US troops and their families on American Forces TV, as a gift from America's Freedom Festival. The Stadium of Fire was created by Merrill Osmond & Alan Osmond in 1980; it was one of the money-making events conceived by the Osmond family in the early 1980s to recuperate money from father George Osmond's bad business partnerships that had left the family in deep debt. It has and has become one of the largest Independence Day celebrations in the United States. With super star performers and also the Stadium of Fire Dancers. For the past 13 years it has been created and produced by Baruch Gayton Entertainment Group.

America's Freedom Festival at Provo (also America's Freedom Festival or Freedom Festival) is a private, non-profit, non-political foundation known for organizing more than 25 annual patriotic events in and around Provo, Utah. It is one of the largest and longest (usually May - July) patriotic celebrations in the nation. The organization's stated mission is to "celebrate, teach, honor, and strengthen the traditional American values of family, freedom, God, and country." America's Freedom Festival sponsors one of the nation's largest Fourth of July celebrations, Stadium of Fire, held each year at LaVell Edwards Stadium on the campus of Brigham Young University. Recent performers at Stadium of Fire include Journey (band), Cirque du Soleil, Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, and the Blue Man Group. The United States Department of Defense has chosen to broadcast parts of the festival to millions of servicemen and women serving abroad in the Armed Forces for the past several years.The festivities usually include a patriotic service, hot air balloon launches, a carnival, and a parade. Among the most popular events included is a Colonial Heritage fair, in which colonial skills, craftsmanship, and history are taught and celebrated.

The Brigham Young University Museum of Paleontology was started in 1976 around the collection of James A. Jensen. For many years, it was known as the BYU Earth Science Museum, and most of the collection was in storage under the LaVell Edwards Stadium.In October 2009, the museum held a grand opening of its new facilities during BYU homecoming week. With the 5,000-square-foot (460 m2) addition, it now displays most of the collection. The change of name clarifies that the museum actually houses a large collection of dinosaur bones and other fossils.The museum is currently directed by Rodney Scheetz, who was one of Jensen's students at BYU. Its main purpose is to facilitate research, but it is open to the public.

Larry H. Miller Sports Complex is a stadium complex in Provo, Utah. The complex is named after businessman Larry H. Miller; the field is primarily used for baseball. The ballpark has a capacity of 2,204 people and was opened in 2001. Larry H. Miller Field was previously the home of Provo Angels. It currently hosts the BYU Cougars baseball team. In 2012, college baseball writer Eric Sorenson ranked the field as the second-best setting and second-most underrated venue in NCAA Division I baseball. A 20-foot by 50-foot video board was installed in 2022.Miller Park has been home to BYU baseball since it opened in 2001. It is described as a "unique baseball-softball back-to-back complex." BYU baseball plays on Larry H. Miller Field. The softball team plays on Gail Miller Field.Miller Park seats 2,204 fans in two tiers. 1,000 additional fans can be placed in temporary seating when necessary. There is a press box that hosts radio and television stations, other media facilities, concession stands, event facilities, training rooms, batting cages, offices, etc. The taut spire-accented tensile roof is made from Teflon.

Philanthropies, formerly LDS Philanthropies, is a department of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) and is responsible for facilitating donations to humanitarian and educational initiatives. The department works under the direction of the church's Presiding Bishop. The most widely known educational projects are the operation of church-owned schools, such as Brigham Young University (BYU). Humanitarian funds are given to Latter-day Saint Charities which sponsors and organizes relief efforts. In 2019, the church reported over 3,000 community-based projects with an excess of 2,000 partners, in locations around the world. A 2020 statistic reported a total of $2.3 billion that had been donated over Philanthropies' existence.

The Brigham Young University Museum of Peoples and Cultures, located in Provo, Utah, is the university's museum of archaeology and ethnology. The Museum of Peoples and Cultures has a wide variety of collections containing over a million objects. Most of the 7,000 collections come from the regions of South America, Mesoamerica, Central America, the American Southwest, the Great Basin and Polynesia. However, there are many objects from other parts of the world which are available for study and research.

The Gordon B. Hinckley Alumni and Visitors Center is a three-story building named for Gordon B. Hinckley which houses alumni association offices on the Brigham Young University (BYU) campus in Provo, Utah. The building acts as a visitors center, contains exhibits showcasing BYU's history, features a small theater, and houses alumni association offices for the university. BYU University Relations and BYU High School Relations are located in the building and give complimentary tours to campus visitors.

The Marriott Center is a multi-purpose arena in the western United States, located on the campus of Brigham Young University (BYU) in Provo, Utah. It is home to the BYU Cougars men's and women's basketball teams. The seating capacity for basketball games at the Marriott Center is officially 17,978. It is the largest basketball arena in the Big 12 Conference and it is among the largest on-campus basketball arenas in the nation. In addition to basketball, the Marriott Center is used for weekly campus devotionals and forums. The elevation of the court is approximately 4,650 feet (1,420 m) above sea level.

The N. Eldon Tanner Building, also known as the TNRB, is a building that houses classrooms and administrative offices for the Marriott School of Business on the Brigham Young University (BYU) campus in Provo, Utah, United States.

The Marriott School of Business is the business school of Brigham Young University (BYU), a private university owned by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) and located in Provo, Utah. It was founded in 1891 and renamed in 1988 after J. Willard Marriott, founder of Marriott International, and his wife Alice following their $15 million endowment gift to the school. The school is housed in the N. Eldon Tanner Building and supports 137 full-time faculty and approximately 200 adjunct, part-time or visiting faculty, full-time staff and students who teach. It has approximately 2,100 undergraduate and 1,200 graduate students, and approximately 62 percent of its student body are bilingual. As of 2019, its alumni base numbers 55,000.
