Victoria Park Place

The Canada Building is an Art Deco office tower built in 1930 in downtown Windsor, Ontario. It stands at 14 storeys and stands on Ouellette Avenue between University Avenue and Park Street. It should not be confused with the nearby similarly designed Paul Martin Sr. Building, or the Bell Canada building, located on Goyeau Avenue, which looks nearly identical and is nearly the same in height. The Canada Building was listed as a historic property under the Ontario Heritage Act on August 5, 2008.As of July 2020, about a quarter of the building was used for commercial space. A redevelopment plan was announced in July 2020 for the building to have commercial space on the lowest three floors with 72 apartments in floors above.

The Capitol Theatre is a historic theatre in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Opened on December 30, 1920 by the Loew Theater Company owned by Marcus Loew at a cost of approximately CA$600,000. Designed by Toronto architect Thomas White Lamb, it was the largest single floor theatre in Canada at the time, with 1,995 seats. The theatre was one of 16 Canadian theatres Lamb designed, including Toronto's Pantages (now the Ed Mirvish Theatre), the Elgin and Winter Garden Theatres, and the Ottawa Capitol.The building was purchased in 1922 by Simon Mertsky and two other partners and it assumed its current name, as the Capitol Theatre. Famous Players (now Cineplex Inc.) purchased the building in 1929. In 1975, the theatre was divided into three spaces available to rent: The main "Pentastar" theatre with 626 audience seats, the Daniel Patrick Kelly theatre with seating for 208 guests, and the Joy Family theatre for meetings and receptions.The building closed in 1989 bringing the threat of demolition. In 1995 a group of community leaders and volunteers secured funding from the provincial and federal government to restore and renovate the interior of the building. The volunteer board declared bankruptcy in 2007. The City purchased the building in 2008 and turned it over to the Windsor Symphony Orchestra to manage and use as their main venue. The Windsor International Film Festival also uses the theatre.

St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, is a Presbyterian Church in Canada congregation in downtown Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The congregation dates back to 1857, and at one time, was the largest congregation by membership within the Presbyterian Church in Canada (PCC).

The Paul Martin Sr. Building is a 6-storey Art deco low-rise office building in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, located on the west side of Ouellette Avenue between Chatham Street and Pitt Streets.

The Bank of Commerce Building is a 15-storey office tower constructed in 1974 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The structure is designed in the modern style and faced with precast panels with brown exposed aggregate which cover the vertical piers and spandrels. The windows are set in horizontal groups of four and recessed in dark aluminum frames. It is connected to the neighbouring Windsor Downtown Travelodge Hotel. The building previously housed a Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) regional headquarters. The CIBC sign at the top of the building has since been removed but CIBC still maintains a main branch on the first floor. Other tenants include the Great Lakes Regional Office of the International Joint Commission.The private Windsor Club occupied the 14th floor from 1987 through November 2015 when it relocated elsewhere in the city. Building owners remodeled the space to accommodate a restaurant which opened on June 9, 2016.West across Ouellette Avenue is One Riverside Drive, headquarters of FCA Canada and to the north, across Riverside Drive is the Riverfront Bike Trail.

Windsor Community Museum is a historical museum located in Windsor, Ontario, Canada which displays artifacts from Windsor. It is located at François Baby House, built in 1812 by François Baby, a prominent French-Canadian (which is now designated as a National Historic Site).The museum was founded as the Hiram Walker Historical Museum because Hiram Walker and Sons Limited donated a lot of money for the restoration of the Baby House. In 1991 the museum's name was changed to the "François Baby House: Windsor's Community Museum" in an attempt alleviate confusion between the museum and the Hiram Walker Company. Also, the name did not accurately reflect the museum's aim or purpose. In 1996 the museum was given the name Windsor's Community Museum. The name became Museum Windsor in 2016 with the opening of the second location, the Chimczuk Museum (401 Riverside Dr W). The building now houses over 15,000 artifacts and documents which hold particular importance to the history of Windsor and the greater Essex County, Ontario region. The museum was founded in 1958 by local amateur historian and merchant, George Fortune Macdonald (1877-1959) and is now administered by the City of Windsor. The Museum also runs and operates the Interpretation Centre located behind the Duff Baby House. This particular building is used mostly for educational programs.

The François Bâby House is a historic residence located in Windsor, Ontario, Canada which was owned by the prominent local politician François Baby. The house is a two-storey, Georgian style, red brick house once known as La Ferme locally, and was a French-Canadian ribbon farm which was a long narrow tract fronting endwise on the Detroit River. The home itself has historical ties to the War of 1812 where it was used as a headquarters by both the American and British forces. Today, the François Baby House has been designated as a National Historic Site of Canada and serves as the current home of Windsor's Community Museum, a historical museum which displays the city's rich and colourful past.

Windsor City Hall is the seat of the municipal government of Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The mayor's office and Windsor City Council are housed in the main building at 350 City Hall Square West, while additional city services are located in an adjacent building at 400 City Square East in downtown Windsor.

Windsor International Transit Terminal is a bus terminal for Transit Windsor. It is located on the block between Chatham Street and Pitt Street on the east side of Church Street in downtown Windsor, Ontario, Canada.Transit Windsor redeveloped its downtown transit terminal through a public-private partnership involving federal, provincial and local governments and Greyhound Canada. The new bus station, built at a cost of $7.4-million, opened in the summer of 2007, replacing a small facility that was more than 65 years old. The project is sited next to several major arts facilities, like the Art Gallery of Windsor, Windsor's Community Museum, and François Baby House, and is about 0.6 kilometres from Caesars Windsor.

The Greater Essex County District School Board (known as English-language Public District School Board No. 9 prior to 1999) was created on January 1, 1998 with the amalgamation of the Windsor Board of Education and the Essex County Board of Education. The school board services families in both Windsor, Ontario and Essex County, Ontario in Canada.

Art Windsor-Essex (AWE) (formerly known as the Art Gallery of Windsor) is a not-for-profit art institute in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Established in 1943, the gallery has a mandate as a public art space to show significant works of art by local, regional, and national artists. Art Windsor-Essex has created, collected, presented, and conserved a collections of Canadian art, and is one of Windsor's most notable cultural reserves.

Caesars Windsor in Windsor, Ontario, Canada is one of four casinos in the Detroit–Windsor area and was opened in 1994 on the waterfront of the Detroit River. Owned by the Government of Ontario (through the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation), it is operated by Caesars Entertainment. Both the original Casino Windsor and 2008 expansion were designed by WZMH Architects.The casino overlooks the Detroit skyline from the waterfront, and is near the Canadian end of the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel. The creation of this casino was a leading factor in the Michigan legislature authorizing the legalization of casino gambling in Detroit in the early 21st century. The "Forum" hotel tower stands at 23 stories tall and opened in 1998. The "Augustus" tower stands at 27 stories and opened in 2008. Caesars Windsor attracts about six million visitors annually, from Ontario, Canada; and Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and other states in the Midwestern United States. Since 1999, its main competitors are the American MGM Grand Detroit, MotorCity Casino, and Hollywood Casino located across the river in Detroit.
