Bucyrus Township, Ohio

Bucyrus ( bew-SY-rəs) is a city in Crawford County, Ohio, United States, and its county seat. It is located in northern Ohio approximately 28 miles (45 km) west of Mansfield and 66 miles (106 km) southeast of Toledo. The population was 11,684 at the 2020 census. The city is the largest in Crawford County and the center of the Bucyrus micropolitan statistical area.

The school is administered together with Bucyrus Middle School as the Bucyrus Secondary School, and serves students in grades six through twelve in the Bucyrus City School District. Athletic teams are known as the Redmen and the school colors are red and white.

The school was established in 1963 as Wynford High School for grades nine through twelve and was combined with the middle school in 2020 after the completion of the current facilities on the same campus. Athletic teams are known as the Royals and the school colors are royal blue and gray.
