Glencree (Irish: Gleann Crí from the older Gleann Criothach, which translates as Valley of the Shaking Bog) is a valley in the Wicklow Mountains in eastern Ireland. It is the third-closest valley in the mountains to Dublin city, the first being Glencullen and the second Glenasmole. The River Dargle flows down the valley, which rises to a height of about 400 metres (1,312 feet). The foot of the valley is the site of the village of Enniskerry. In medieval times it was heavily wooded and was a royal forest, apparently the only royal forest in Ireland. The trees seem to have mainly been oak. The name of at least one Royal Forester at Glencree is known, Sir Thomas Fitzadam, who was appointed in 1219.

Glencullen (Irish: Gleann Cuilinn, meaning 'valley of the holly') is a village and townland in the county of Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown in south County Dublin, Ireland. It is also the name of the valley above one end of which the village sits, and from which it takes its name, and is on the R116 road, on the slopes of Two Rock Mountain. The highest point of the area is at a height of about 300 metres (980 ft), making Glencullen one of the highest villages in Ireland.Glencullen is in the civil parish of Kilternan and the barony and Poor Law Union of Rathdown. 376 people lived in the village as of the 2022 census, up from 238 as of the 2016 census.

Two Rock (Irish: Binn Dá Charraig; archaic: Black Mountain; Sliab Lecga (meaning Mountain of Flagstones)) is a mountain in Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown, Ireland. It is 536 metres (1,759 feet) high and is the 382nd highest mountain in Ireland. It is the highest point of the group of hills in the Dublin Mountains which comprises Two Rock, Three Rock, Kilmashogue and Tibradden Mountains. The mountain takes its name from the two granite tors that lie to the south-east of the summit. From the summit, which is called Fairy Castle, there are views of much of the Dublin area from Tallaght to Howth to the north while Bray Head, Killiney Hill, the Great Sugar Loaf and the Wicklow Mountains are visible to the south. The summit area is mostly shallow bog while ferns and gorse cover the lower slopes. The mountain is also an important habitat for red grouse.A number of prehistoric monuments can be found on the mountain including a passage tomb on the summit and a wedge tomb on the slopes near Ballyedmonduff.

Three Rock Mountain (Irish: Binn Trí Charraig; archaic: Sliabh Ruadh) is a mountain in Co Dublin, Ireland. It is 444 metres (1,457 feet) high and forms part of the group of hills in the Dublin Mountains which comprises Two Rock, Three Rock, Kilmashogue and Tibradden Mountains. The mountain takes its name from the three groups of granite rocks at the summit. It was once believed that these features were man-made: for instance, Gabriel Beranger wrote of them in 1780, "I take them to be altars upon which sacrifices were offered […] the regularity which is observed in piling them convinces me they are the work of man, as they could not grow in that position". In fact, the three outcrops are tors: natural geological features produced by the gradual process of weathering. Today, the summit is dominated by the many radio masts and towers that use the site to broadcast their signals across the Dublin area below. The forestry plantations on the slopes consist mainly of Sitka spruce, Japanese larch, Scots pine, Monterey pine and lodgepole pine.

The station broadcasts on the 98.1 MHz FM frequency. 98FM's broadcast antenna is located on Three Rock Mountain, County Dublin at 5 kW, and can be heard in Dublin and neighbouring counties. 98FM also has a relay in north County Dublin, broadcasting on 97.4 MHz. Since 2022 the station has been marketed as "Dublin's Good Times"

Crone Woods, also Crone Forest, is located in the northeastern section of the Wicklow Mountains, just below the summit of Maulin 570 metres (1,870 ft), in County Wicklow, Ireland. Crone Woods have an extensive network of forest trails and hikes which can be accessed from the village of Enniskerry.

Maulin (Irish: Málainn, meaning 'High/sloping ground'), at 570 metres (1,870 ft), is the 272nd–highest peak in Ireland on the Arderin scale, however, being below 600 m it does not rank on the Vandeleur-Lynam or Hewitt scales. Maulin is in the far northeastern section of the Wicklow Mountains, at the mouth of Glensoulan Valley; Powerscourt Waterfall lies at its base.Maulin is accessed from the trails through Crone Woods, a Sitka spruce plantation on its northern slopes; Maulin is also accessible just off the main Wicklow Way. Maulin is often climbed as part of a "loop route" called the Circuit of Glensoulan which starts at Crone Woods car-park, and complete a 16-kilometre loop of Maulin, Tonduff 642 metres (2,106 ft), War Hill 686 metres (2,251 ft), and Djouce 725 metres (2,379 ft), and then returning to Crone Woods car-park.The Knockree An Óige youth hostel is located at the base of Maulin in Lackandarragh near the village of Enniskerry.

Knocksink Wood (Irish: Coill Chnoc Sinche, meaning 'Sinneach's Hill Wood') is a national nature reserve located in the valley of the Glencullen River in County Wicklow, Ireland, near the village of Enniskerry. With an area of approximately 129 acres (0.52 km2), it is managed by the Irish National Parks & Wildlife Service.

Kiltiernan Tomb, also called Kiltiernan Portal Tomb or Kiltiernan Dolmen, is a dolmen located in County Dublin, Ireland. It is a National Monument.

Tonduff (Irish: Tóin Dubh, meaning 'black bottom') at 642 metres (2,106 ft), is the 169th–highest peak in Ireland on the Arderin scale, and the 202nd–highest peak on the Vandeleur-Lynam scale. Tonduff is in the far northeastern section of the Wicklow Mountains, in Wicklow, Ireland. The main flat summit is sometimes listed as Tonduff North, while the subsidiary summit, Tonduff East Top 593 metres (1,946 ft), is sometimes listed as Tonduff South. Tonduff East Top has a prominence of only 15 metres (49 ft), which just qualifies it as an Arderin Beg. A bog on the western slopes of Tonduff, the Liffey Head Bog, forms the source of the River Liffey; bogs on the southern slopes of Tonduff, forms the source of the River Dargle.
