Opal Tower (officially known as Opal 3, Leeds) is a 25-storey building in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. It serves as student accommodation for 542 students, and is close to the City campus of Leeds Beckett University and the University of Leeds.

The First Direct Arena (also known as the Leeds Arena) is an entertainment-focused indoor arena located in the Arena Quarter of Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. It is the first in the United Kingdom to have a fan-shaped orientation. The arena officially opened on 4 September 2013, with Sir Elton John, playing to an audience of 12,000. Bruce Springsteen had, however, held the first concert on 24 July 2013, with an audience of 13,000. The arena's opening season in 2013 later included acts including Kaiser Chiefs, Rod Stewart, Status Quo and Depeche Mode.The building was named the "best new venue in the world" in 2014 by the Stadium Business Awards.

Arena Quarter (sometimes referred to as Arena Qtr) is a mixed city centre development with residential, retail and office developments in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. It is located in Leeds city centre and the area is best known for housing Leeds Arena.In recent years, a number of developments have been built in Arena Quarter. This includes Opal 3 and Sky Plaza, both of which are student accommodation. Yorkshire's tallest building began construction in the Quarter in October 2018.

Lovell Park is an inner-city area of Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. The area falls within the Hyde Park and Woodhouse ward of the Leeds Metropolitan Council. Lovell Park along with its adjacent areas Little London and Blenheim, is an area of 1960s high-rise and maisonette council housing situated between the city centre and Sheepscar. The Londoner Public House in Little London was demolished in 2007 and a new 25-storey tower block, the Opal Tower, has been constructed on its former site. The only pub now remaining in Lovell Park is The Leeds Rifleman. The estate has only one shop, Lovell Park Stores, an independent newsagent/ convenience store/ off-licence. There are further shops within five minutes walk in the Merrion Centre, other parts of Leeds city centre and other parts of Little London. In the 1990s the Leeds Permanent Building Society relocated its offices from what is now The Light in Leeds city centre, to a new building in Lovell Park. This now belongs to Lloyds Banking Group. Lovell Park Towers was used for the filming of Married Single Other. The site of Lovell Park itself was the site of a cattle market which dates back to before 1860.

Merrion Street Gardens is a city square and gardens in central Leeds, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom, owned by Wade's Charity and was opened to the public in 1932 in memorial of Thomas Wade.The square is situated on the south east corner of Merrion Street and Wade Lane, adjacent to St John's Church, the oldest surviving church in the city.

St John the Evangelist's Church is a redundant Anglican church in the centre of the city of Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building, and is under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. The architectural historian Nikolaus Pevsner refers to it as "the only church at Leeds of more than local interest".

The Grand Arcade is a shopping arcade located on New Briggate in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England, and a Grade II listed building. It was built by New Briggate Arcade Company Ltd in 1897, with Smith & Tweedal as architects, in Renaissance style with Modern Style (British Art Nouveau style) details.The arcade was built on land in Briggate owned by the Lupton family who had also owned land in nearby North Street/Mabgate and Merrion Street since the mid-18th century. Their Briggate land housed buildings including Lupton's Mill and its accompanying dam which were demolished by 1897 to build the arcade.The arcade originally consisted of two parallel arcades running between Vicar Lane and New Briggate, with a cross passage onto Merrion Street. The northern arcade was converted to the Tower Cinema in 1920 and further converted into a nightclub in 1985. The remaining passage features an animated clock by Potts of Leeds.

The Grand Theatre, also known as Leeds Grand Theatre and Leeds Grand Theatre and Opera House, is a theatre and opera house in Briggate, Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. It seats approximately 1,500 people.

Sky Plaza (also known as The Plaza Tower) is a 34-storey, residential skyscraper, in Arena Quarter, Leeds, West Yorkshire, England.

Arena Point (previously known as Tower North Central and Tower House) is a 77 metres (253 ft) high office tower in Leeds, England. It is situated at the top end of Leeds city centre on Merrion Way in close proximity to the Merrion Centre and is adjacent to the Opal 3 Tower. The building was constructed in 1965 and with 19 floors is currently the joint fifth tallest building in Leeds, along with Park Plaza Hotel Leeds. Tower North Central was reclad in 1980, and refurbished in 2003–2004, and now provides 76,800 sq ft (7,130 m2) of office space. The building also benefits from extensive on site parking with over 100 covered spaces available. The upper 11 floors are occupied by a variety of tenants following refurbishment whilst the lower seven floors and ground floor were excluded from the scheme as they were let to Axa at the time. Plans have been lodged with Leeds City Council to demolish the building and build a 43-storey student accommodation block in its place.

North Bar is a bar on New Briggate in Leeds, West Yorkshire in England. It was opened by John Gyngell and Christian Townsley in June 1997.North Bar was named winner of the 2006 Observer Food Monthly 'Best place to drink in Britain' ahead of 11,000 other licensed establishments.

The St John's Centre is an indoor shopping centre in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. The centre is surrounded by The Headrow to the south, Albion Street to the west and Merrion Street to the north. The centre makes up the central shopping centre to a row of three, that run up through the northern side of Leeds city centre, The Core to the south and the Merrion Centre to the north. The centre has an annual footfall of ten million. Dortmund Square lies to the front of the centre. In early 2005 the centre was refurbished.
