Valentown Hall

Eastview Mall, located in Victor, New York (near Rochester, New York), is an upscale indoor shopping center owned and managed by Wilmorite Properties. The mall features JCPenney, Macy's, Von Maur, and Dick's House of Sports. Eastview is located just off New York State Thruway (Interstate 90) Exit 45 on New York State Route 96. This 1,375,097-square-foot (127,751 m2) shopping center has 144 stores and services including some that are unique to the Rochester-area market. Eastview Mall serves the entire Metro-Rochester, NY region, attracting customers from throughout Western NY, as well as visitors to the nearby Finger Lakes Vineyards and resort lake towns.

WZXV (99.7 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a Christian radio format. Licensed to Palmyra, New York, United States, the station serves the Rochester area and, through a network of translators, most of central and western New York (southwestern New York is instead served by a sister church). The station is currently owned by Calvary Chapel of the Finger Lakes, Inc. The station operates as a noncommercial religious station; the main frequency and all of its translators are nonetheless in the commercial FM band, above 92 MHz.

WAIO (95.1 FM, "Radio 95.1") is a commercial radio station licensed to Honeoye Falls, New York, and serving the Rochester metropolitan area. The station airs a hybrid hot talk and active rock radio format and is owned and operated by iHeartMedia. Its studios and offices are located at the Five Star Bank Plaza building in downtown Rochester. The station features one of the longest running morning comedy shows in the region, hosted by Brother Wease. It also carries Rover's Morning Glory from WMMS Cleveland. WAIO has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 50,000 watts, the maximum for most of New York. The transmitter is on Baker Road in Victor, New York, amid the towers for other FM radio stations in the area. WAIO broadcasts in the HD Radio hybrid format. Its HD2 digital subchannel simulcasts sister station WHAM 1180 AM, which airs a news/talk format.

WBER is a listener and school district supported community radio station in Rochester, New York, United States, owned and operated by the BOCES, Monroe #1. The station was founded in 1985. The call letters correspond to BOCES Educational Radio, with the pre-1985 call letters (WRHR) corresponding to Rush Henrietta Radio, the original licensee of the station (the Rush-Henrietta Central School District). The station's playlist is Alternative radio, with some new titles added to the regular rotation via a "test track," listener-reporting mechanism. WBER also presents local concerts by popular performers.

Fishers is a hamlet in the northwest corner of the Town of Victor, Ontario County, New York, United States. It is a small suburb of Rochester. The community is south of the New York State Thruway (Interstate 90). A U. S. Post Office is located in Fishers with a ZIP code of 14453.

Cobblestone Railroad Pumphouse is a historic pumphouse located at the hamlet of Fishers in the town of Victor in Ontario County, New York. It was constructed about 1845 by the Auburn and Rochester Railroad and is a small cobblestone structure. It is built of relatively large, rough variously colored field cobbles. It is one of approximately 101 cobblestone buildings in Ontario County.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

The Voplex building is a remarkable office building located in Perinton, New York close to Interstate 490 approaching the city of Rochester, New York from the east. The name is a local one, not formally conferred on the building. Instead it refers to the fact that the building was designed for and initially occupied by Voplex Corporation, a supplier of automotive custom plastic products such as interior trim. A sign with the name "Voplex" in large letters was visible for quite a distance, and the name stuck. NimbleUser and Synoptek now occupy the building, and the building is part of the three building office complex officially called the Basin Tech Centre on Pittsford-Victor Road. Coincidentally, it is within a quarter mile of the Mushroom House, another notable piece of local architecture, but one not visible from a distance, being located in woods. Another office building, located in Canandaigua, New York, is also a former Voplex location, and is likewise known as the "Voplex building". However it is of conventional design.

Victor Senior High School is a public high school located in Victor, New York, and is part of the encompassing Victor Central School District. It is a four year high school covering grades 9-12, which regularly receives both national and state recognition for excellence in education. Classes are scheduled into 85-minute block periods and follow New York State standards in curriculum. Victor Senior High School offers students 17 Advanced Placement (AP) courses, International Baccalaureate (IB) courses, dual enrollment courses affiliated with FLCC and RIT, engineering courses that follow the Project Lead the Way (PLTW) curriculum, and technical career courses at the Finger Lakes Technical and Career Center (BOCES). On April 20, 2018 it was announced that Assistant Principal Brian Siesto would become the new principal starting in the 2018–2019 school year, as Yvonne O’Shea was to retire. The assistant principals are currently Brian Siesto, Carrie Goodell, and Amy Shannon.

The Mushroom House or Pod House is a contemporary residence in the town of Perinton, New York, which has been featured in television programs (notably HGTV's Offbeat America series) and books (notably the Weird U.S. series) due to its whimsical appearance. Patterned after umbels of Queen Anne's Lace, its brown color is more suggestive of mushrooms. The house was constructed for attorney-artist couple Robert and Marguerite Antell between 1970 and 1972 and was designated a town landmark in 1989.The structure is sited in a moderately-wooded ravine adjacent to Powder Mills Park. The house itself comprises four 80 ton pods which rest on reinforced concrete stems of 14 to 20 feet in height. These fan out from three feet in diameter where they connect to the pods to five feet at the base. The sides of each pod's "cap" are completely windowed. One pod serves as the living and dining area, one as the kitchen, and two as sleeping areas. An additional "half pod" provides an open deck area. The house has three bedrooms and three bathrooms in 4,168 square feet. In February 2012, the house sold for $799,900, after the original asking price of $1.1 million failed to attract a buyer.

The Auburn Trail is a multi-use rail trail located principally in the towns of Victor and Farmington, Ontario County, New York (USA). It is approximately 11 miles (18 km) long and maintained by the Towns of Victor and Farmington and Victor Hiking Trails. The trail mostly follows the alignment of the Auburn and Rochester Railroad. Additional disconnected portions of the Auburn trail are found in the Towns of Pittsford and Brighton, Monroe County, NY. Victor is a village located within the Town of Victor in Ontario County, New York, United States. The population was 2,696 at the 2010 census. The Village of Victor is in the southeast part of the town and is southeast of the City of Rochester.

The town is named after Claudius Victor Boughton, an American hero of the War of 1812. The Town of Victor contains a village, also called Victor. The town is in the northwest corner of Ontario County and is southeast of Rochester. Victor is part of the Greater Rochester area; Victor's strategic location led to extensive suburban growth in the late 20th and early 21st century. Victor is the largest of Rochester's suburbs to be located outside of Monroe County, the home of more than two-thirds of the Greater Rochester population. The Village of Victor is 12 miles (19 km) from the head of Canandaigua Lake, the fourth largest of the Finger Lakes.
