KTMS

KTYD (99.9 FM, pronounced "K-Tide") is a commercial radio station that is licensed to Santa Barbara, California and serves Santa Barbara and Ventura counties. The station is owned by Rincon Broadcasting and airs a classic rock format. KTYD is the flagship station of the nationally syndicated program Dennis Mitchell's Breakfast with the Beatles.

KDB (93.7 MHz) is a non-commercial FM radio station licensed to Santa Barbara, California, and serving Santa Barbara County and Ventura County. It is owned by the University of Southern California and broadcasts a classical music radio format, simulcasting KUSC (91.5 FM) in Los Angeles. KUSC and KDB air periodic fundraisers on the air, seeking donations and members. KDB has an effective radiated power of 12,500 watts. The transmitter is off Gibraltar Road in Santa Barbara, located among the towers for other Santa Barbara FM and TV stations.

KJEE (92.9 FM) is a commercial radio station that is licensed to Montecito, California and broadcasts to the Santa Barbara and Oxnard—Ventura areas. The station is owned by James Evans under the name of licensee Montecito FM, Inc. and airs a modern rock format.

Parma Park is a park located in Santa Barbara, California. The park is situated on State Route 192 (Stanwood Drive) about one mile west of its junction with State Route 144. Highway 192 is the main foothill bypass of Santa Barbara, and goes past the now underground Sheffield Reservoir. The park itself is located in chaparral and oak-covered hills. The park is relatively primitive, with a handful of picnic tables; however it has several hiking and horse trails. The park is also the major landing zone for hang gliders and paragliders launching from Gibraltar Road. The majority of the park was burned in the Montecito Tea Fire.

Mar Y Cel, also known as Mar i Cel (Catalan: "Sea and Sky"), is an open space preserve conserved by the Land Trust for Santa Barbara County, in Santa Barbara County, California, USA. Located in the Santa Ynez Mountains foothills above Montecito, Mar Y Cel is a 350-acre (1.4 km2) estate. It includes the "Tea Gardens" as well as the West Fork of Cold Springs Trail, a well used hiking trail.

The Tea Fire, also known as the Montecito Tea Fire, was a wildfire that began on November 13, 2008, destroying 210 homes in the cities of Montecito and Santa Barbara, California, in the United States of America. It was the first of several November 2008 wildfires that burned hundreds of homes from November 13–15, 2008. The Tea Fire ignited in the Cold Springs section of Montecito at approximately 17:50 PST on November 13, 2008. The fire started at a Mar Y Cel historic structure called the "Tea House" above Mountain Drive, giving the fire its name. Spreading rapidly, it was fanned by offshore winds, known as Sundowner winds, that blow down the Santa Ynez Mountains, gusting up to 85 mph (137 km/h). These winds caused the fire to spread into the city of Santa Barbara. The fire was 40% contained on the 15th, 75% on the 16th, and by November 17, 2008, it was 95% contained after burning 1,940 acres (785 ha), and on November 18, it was 100% contained. On November 15, 2008, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger visited areas burned in the Tea Fire, noting: "When you walk around the area that was destroyed, it looks like hell."

Skofield Park is a 35 acres (140,000 m2) natural open space preserve and city park located within Santa Barbara, California. Rattlesnake Canyon Park is located nearby, with both in the "front country" of the Santa Ynez Mountains.

Gould Park is a public park located in Santa Barbara, California. It was a gift from Charles W. and Clara H. Gould in June 1926. This 360+ acre park has not been developed by the City since its acquisition. In 1932 the Southern California Edison company was permitted to construct and maintain a transmission line over the north end of the park. In December of the same year, the Park Commission discussed developing the land for recreational use, however the idea was dropped because only a small part of it was usable.

Ganna Walska Lotusland, also known as Lotusland, is a non-profit botanical garden located in Montecito, near Santa Barbara, California, United States. The (15 ha / 37 acres) garden is the historic estate of Madame Ganna Walska. The County of Santa Barbara restricts visitation via a conditional use permit: Lotusland botanic garden is open to the public by advance reservation only, with walking tours 1½ to 2 hours long.

Franceschi Park is a 15.78-acre public park (6.39 ha) located at the intersection of Mission Ridge Road and Franceschi Road within the colloquially renown "Riviera" neighborhood of Santa Barbara, California. It is situated at an approximate elevation of 800 ft (240 m) above sea level, some 2 mi (3.2 km) from the coast. Mission Ridge Road divides the park into the northerly (10.94-acre (4.43 ha)) upper park, and the southerly (4.84-acre (1.96 ha)) lower park. Endowed with an elevated southerly orientation, the upper park offers visitors a clear panoramic view of the City of Santa Barbara's coastline and the Channel Islands. The site hosts a small picnic area, a large patio that serves as a group picnic area, restrooms, some trails, and a parking lot; and further serves as a resource for the pioneering horticultural work undertaken by Italian horticulturalist Dr. Francesco Franceschi (1843-1924).

The Santa Barbara Botanic Garden is a 78-acre botanical garden (32 ha), containing over 1,000 species of rare and indigenous plants. It is located in Mission Canyon, Santa Barbara, California, United States. The purpose of the Garden is to display California native plants in natural settings. There are approximately 9.2 km (5.7 mi) of hiking trails within the garden. Mission Creek flows through the premises, and includes a rock dam which was constructed in 1806 by Native Americans (mainly Canaliños) under the direction of the Spanish padres of the adjacent Mission Santa Barbara.
