Uganda Specialized Nursing University

Mulago Women's Referral Hospital, whose official name is Mulago Specialised Women and Neonatal Hospital, is a component of Mulago National Referral Hospital, the largest hospital in Uganda, which serves as the teaching hospital of Makerere University College of Health Sciences. The women's hospital was constructed from April 2013, with commissioning originally expected in the second half of 2016. After delays, construction was completed in July 2018.

Uganda Cancer Institute (UCI) is a public, specialized, tertiary care medical facility owned by the Uganda Ministry of Health. It is designated as East Africa's Centre of Excellence in Oncology. In collaboration with Makerere University College of Health Sciences, UCI plans to start offering masters degrees, doctoral programs and post-doctoral fellowships in oncology care.

Makerere University College of Health Sciences (MakCHS) is a constituent college of Makerere University, Uganda's oldest university. The schools of the college offer undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the biomedical sciences, health sciences, human medicine and public health, covering a broad range of disciplines and specialties.

The Makerere University School of Medicine (MUSM), also known as the Makerere University Medical School, is the school of medicine of Makerere University, Uganda's oldest and largest public university. The medical school has been part of Makerere University since 1924. The school provides medical education at diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels.

The Hilton Garden Inn Kampala, part of the Hilton Garden Inn chain, is a hotel in Kampala, the capital and largest city of Uganda. The building, under development since 2018, was commissioned in May 2019.

Makerere University School of Public Health (MUSPH) is one of the schools that comprise the Makerere University College of Health Sciences, a constituent college of Makerere University, Uganda's oldest and largest public university.

The Uganda Museum is located in Kampala, Uganda. It displays and exhibits ethnological, natural-historical and traditional life collections of Uganda's cultural heritage. It was founded in 1908, after Governor George Wilson called for "all articles of interest" on Uganda to be procured. Among the collections in the Uganda Museum are playable musical instruments, hunting equipment, weaponry, archaeology and entomology.

The British High Commission Kampala is the diplomatic mission of the Government of the United Kingdom to Uganda, representing the United Kingdom and the United Kingdom's interests. It is located on Windsor Loop in the Kampala suburb of Kamwokya. The current British High Commissioner is Kate Airey who was appointed at the end of 2019, and started in November 2020.

Mulago is a hill in north-central Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. The hill rises 4,134 feet (1,260 m) above sea level. The name also applies to the neighborhoods that sit on this hill.

Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) is a semi-autonomous Ugandan government agency that aims to conserve, manage and regulate Uganda’s wildlife. "UWA is mandated to ensure sustainable management of wildlife resources and supervise wildlife activities in Uganda, both within and outside the protected areas". As of April 2020, UWA manages ten national parks, twelve wildlife reserves, and fourteen wildlife sanctuaries. UWA also provides guidance for five community wildlife areas. It is governed by a board of trustees appointed by the Minister of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities, currently Tom Butime.

Makerere University College of Health Sciences (MakCHS), is one of the 10 colleges that constitute Makerere University, East Africa,s oldest university. The college was established in 2007 by consolidating the training offered by the University in the disciplines of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, Public Health, Optometry, Radiography and other health sciences. The college of Health Sciences consists of 5 schools: School of Medicine, School of Public Health, School of Biomedical Sciences, School of Dentistry and School og Health Sciences. The college provides training in the health sciences at the undergraduate, masters, PhD and post- doctoral levels levels.

The Uganda Radio Network (URN) is an independent Ugandan subscription-based news agency headquartered in Kampala.
