Makerere University School of Health Sciences

Mulago National Specialised Hospital, also known as Mulago National Referral Hospital, is a component of Mulago Hospital Complex, the teaching facility of Makerere University College of Health Sciences. It is the largest public hospital in Uganda.

Uganda Heart Institute (UHI), is a specialized, public, tertiary care medical facility owned by the Uganda Ministry of Health. It is a component of Mulago National Referral Hospital, the largest hospital in Uganda, which serves as the teaching hospital of Makerere University College of Health Sciences.

Mulago Women's Referral Hospital, whose official name is Mulago Specialised Women and Neonatal Hospital, is a component of Mulago National Referral Hospital, the largest hospital in Uganda, which serves as the teaching hospital of Makerere University College of Health Sciences. The women's hospital was constructed from April 2013, with commissioning originally expected in the second half of 2016. After delays, construction was completed in July 2018.

Upper Mulago Regional Referral Hospital, also known as Old Mulago Regional Referral Hospital, is a planned hospital in Uganda. When established, it is expected to serve as the regional referral hospital for the Kampala Metropolitan Area, which includes the capital city of Kampala (2014 population: 1,507,080) and the surrounding Wakiso District (2014 pop: 1,997,418).

Uganda Cancer Institute (UCI) is a public, specialized, tertiary care medical facility owned by the Uganda Ministry of Health. It is designated as East Africa's Centre of Excellence in Oncology. In collaboration with Makerere University College of Health Sciences, UCI plans to start offering masters degrees, doctoral programs and post-doctoral fellowships in oncology care.

Mulago is a hill in north-central Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. The hill rises 4,134 feet (1,260 m) above sea level. The name also applies to the neighborhoods that sit on this hill.

The Uganda Specialized Nursing University (USNU) is a planned private university in Uganda. When completed, the university will offer specialized nursing training to nurses from Uganda and neighboring countries.

Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council is a quasi-government professional organisation, established by Act of Parliament, responsible for licensing, monitoring and regulating the practice of medicine and dentistry in the country. The organization's mandate includes the regulation of both the practitioners and the practices from where they practice their professions.

The Uganda National Records Center and Archives (UNRCA), is a government building that houses the headquarters of the Uganda National Archives and Records Centre. Prior to the completion of this building, the national records were kept at the present day National Agricultural Research Organization (NARO) Secretariat, in the basement of a former colonial administration building in Entebbe.
