The Bertolini Block, at 143 1/2 W. 200 South in Salt Lake City, Utah, was built in 1892. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.It is a two-story brick building whose three store spaces on its main floor long served ethnic minority businesses. It was designed by architect William Carroll, previously of Provo. It was built at cost of $5,000 for Ignazio Bertolini, an Italian-American real estate developer in Salt Lake City in the early 1890s.

The Peery Hotel in Salt Lake City, Utah, is a 3-story Prairie style building that incorporates Classical Revival design elements. The hotel was designed by Charles B. Onderdonk and Irving Goodfellow and constructed in 1910 in what is now the city's Warehouse District. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.The Peery Hotel was constructed at a time of rapid growth in Salt Lake City, and its location was close to the new commercial center, including what is now the Exchange Place Historic District. The Denver and Rio Grande Depot and the Salt Lake City Union Pacific Depot were constructed about the same time as the Peery Hotel. The hotel was financed by members of the David Harold Peery family with funds from the Peery Estate. David Henry Peery, heir and oldest son of Harold Peery, had planned a smaller hotel for the site in 1907, but construction stopped prior to his death later that year. New hotel plans were drawn in 1909, and the Peery Hotel opened in 1910 under the direction of Peery's mother, Elizabeth Peery.Harry K. Miles leased the hotel in 1925, and in 1947 he purchased the property and named it the Miles Hotel.

The historic Capitol Theatre was built at 50 West 200 South in downtown Salt Lake City during 1913. Originally operated as a vaudeville house named Orpheum Theater, this was soon renamed Capitol Theater during 1927. And is currently also known as the JQ Lawson Capitol Theater. The building style is Italian Renaissance. The county maintains partnerships with Utah-based Ballet West, Utah Opera, and the Children’s Dance Theater (Tanner Dance at the University of Utah), all of which perform regularly at Capitol Theater. Additional Productions: multiple musicals produced by the Broadway Across America touring company; the White Oak Dance Project in 1993 produced by Mikhail Baryshnikov and Mark Morris (choreographer); and various other plays and performances. During the 2002 Winter Olympics, the theatre was used as part of the accompanying Arts Festival with various performances taking place on the stage. After the Eccles Theater was built and opened in 2016 just around the corner on Main Street in Salt Lake City, some productions moved from the Capitol Theater to take advantage of the larger stage and more modern sound system of Eccles Theater. Capitol Theater is managed by the Salt Lake County Center for the Arts.

The Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center is a three-venue arts complex in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah that is home to various performing arts organizations, such as Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company, the Gina Bachauer International Piano Foundation, Plan-B Theatre Company, and the Sundance Film Festival. It is part of the Salt Lake County Center for the Arts.In addition to theatres, the center has both permanent and rotating art installations.

The Salt Palace was an indoor arena located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Built on land that was once the "Little Tokyo" area of the city, construction was pushed by Salt Lake's bid committee for the 1972 Winter Olympics, which included Gen. Maxwell E. Rich, president of the Greater Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce, Gov. Cal Rampton, and Salt Lake Tribune publisher John W. Gallivan.Ground was broken for the county's "civic auditorium" in March 1967, and the Salt Palace opened in the summer of 1969 at a cost of $17 million with a seating capacity of 10,725. Later expanded to 12,666 seats, the venue was the home of the Utah Stars of the American Basketball Association from 1970 to 1975, the Salt Lake Golden Eagles hockey club from 1969 to 1991, and the NBA's Utah Jazz from 1979 to 1991. From 1980 until the arena's closing, the arena was officially named the "Salt Palace Acord Arena" in memory of Thayne and Lorraine Acord. The elevation of the arena at street level was approximately 4,300 feet (1,310 m) above sea level. In 1994, three years after the Jazz moved into the new Delta Center, the Salt Palace was demolished. A convention center of the same name stands on the site today. The first Salt Palace in the city was a theater and dance hall at 900 South, between State and Main streets; its exterior was sprayed with salt crystals to reflect the sun. The structure was lost to a fire in 1910.

The J.G. McDonald Chocolate Company Building in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States, is a 4-story commercial structure designed by John A. Headlund and completed in 1901. The original 3-story brick and stone building was expanded to four stories soon after construction, and it continued to expand as the company grew. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978, and it is now included in the Warehouse District.

Squatters Pub is a bar and restaurant with multiple locations in the U.S. state of Utah. Locations include Downtown Salt Lake City, Salt Lake International Airport, and Park City. The original location in Salt Lake City opened in 1989.The business was eventually acquired by Fireman Capital Partners and integrated into the CANarchy brand alongside several other notable regional craft brewers. In 2022 CANarchy was purchased for $330 million by Monster Beverage Corporation. As part of the deal, the brewpub locations in Utah were brought back under local control, and now operate under the brand name, Salt Lake Being Company. The eight locations continue to pour beer bearing the Squatters and Wasatch names.

The Cullen Hotel, in Salt Lake City, Utah, was a five-story hotel built by 1901. Also known as The Cullen, it was owned by Matthew Cullen. Frederick U. Leonard, who married a daughter of Cullen, rose to presidency of some of Cullen's enterprises and was a director of the hotel.It was designed by architect Richard K. A. Kletting.

Its original building, now the northern portion, was designed by Ware & Treganza in Early Commercial architecture. The 1922 expansion doubled the size of the combined property. It is historically significant for its association with the candy industry in Utah, and was built when the industry was automating. It is also significant for representing the commercial work of architects Ware & Treganza who are known mostly for their governmental and residential works.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.
